It’s nice to hear a podcast analyzing the nuances of basketball

The quality of the basketball analysis from this show (and the All NBA podcast with Adam and Tim) has ruined Inside The NBA for me

This content provides an excellent unbias analysis of basketball strategy(ies) including player usage, strengths/weaknesses, and system-fits, while using data from historical teams to identify trends in the modern NBA. Great production!!!👏👏👏

Only basketball pod u really need to listen too, perfect balance of fun but really knowing basketball and not just saying stupid hot takes to get people to listen, using numbers and analytics but also understanding that is not the only thing

Good analysis and I enjoy the YouTube videos though I sometimes find between the two guys it can be a bit of an echo chamber regarding their opinions.

Ben brings facts and a great combo of historical analysis with remarkable insight. Unfortunately, Cody doesn’t add much value. While I do appreciate Ben trying to bring someone in, I think he could do much better. (And I’m the biggest Bucks fan alive). Personal opinion, but as a grammar teacher how does Cody use “like” every 5th word? Just horrible to hear.

Ben Taylor was interested in basketball from a young age.

Been listening to this show for a while now and was a huge fan, but incorporating one line TV references has really taken this show to the next level. Will be tuning in for each episode hoping for more short references as an aperitif to the basketball content. Keep up the great work!

I’m writing this after having just finished to every episode. The best basketball content for those who want to learn about the game, whether you are brand new to it or have known it for years. Very thoughtful and informative. Check out the thinking basketball YouTube for more content. It is just as awesome.

Does Cody have to be on EVERY episode?The pod was plenty sufficient with Ben’s monologues and intriguing thoughts. Ben is great at articulating his understanding of the game and blending his psychology & statistics background with his well-trained basketball eye, but whenever Cody is on the pod, I kind of feel like he is just trying to keep up when sparring with Ben and he just gets left in the dust bc his takes just don’t always stack up that well. I’d be fine if he was a guest now and then, but I don’t think he’s always additive as a regular

One of the only Bball podcasts that doesn’t get boring. I just really want these guys to have an argument about what is the maximum number of non-shooters on the floor for a modern nba team, and whether the answer is different in the playoffs.

Very insightful commentary paired with charisma and humor. Really makes you understand the evolution of the nba.

Ben is my favorite basketball analyst in the entire industry and I greatly respect the admiration, passion and work he puts into his podcasts, youtube videos and other content. Which is why it’s unfortunate that Cody sounds completely out of place and unprepared whenever him and Ben are on a pod together. Ben has his facts and research prepared, along with having distinctive and grounded takes. Cody flip flops way too much to be able to take any of his analysis seriously. Individually, Cody can probably make a successful podcast of his own, but when he’s on with Ben the chasm of the dialogue, rationale and basketball knowledge between the two make the listening experience much less enjoyable. Basically when Cody speaks, I try to skip forward to when Ben is speaking again.

I follow Bens work religiously. The quality of his podcasts are next level and if you like them you should go subscribe to his YouTube channel because they are just as good

Ben Taylor is an amazing analysis commentator. Doesn’t get emotional and stays with facts and the hard truth. A great fresh air from what we hear. Obviously sports are subjective but Ben plays with the line of pure stats mixed with opinions.

Ben Taylor is truely a phenom when it comes to basketball analytics. He looks beyond the numbers and contextulizes them in a way they gives you a better understanding of basketball.Easily my favorite podcast

Though this might sound crazy, this podcast got me through a tough time in my life Ben introduced me to the world of basketball analytics and I’ve been learning more and more from his podcasts He also inspired me to learn programming and indirectly affected my decisions on my post-secondary studies. Love what he’s doing with this platform as well as his book and his YT page. would highly Recommend to anyone who’s interested in applying critical thinking to basketball analysis! Awesome stuff
