Just reusing old stories that sucked the first time

Been a long time listener since 2019. This podcast got me through covid quarantine and is my saving grace during long work hours. If you like cryptid/paranormal horror stories this podcast is a must listen! I’m up-to-date on every episode and I still wait for the next to come out :) Always entertaining and I love the narrators voice

If you don’t like it don’t listen. I love this show so I listen, 5 star all the way!!. People should come to your job and rate you 1-5 star. Bet most of you get a 1 star or a ignorant “if I could 0 star” Just change it if you don’t want to hear it.

I am from the Shoals as well (Spring Valley and graduated from Colbert Heights). I knew some people on the jury. This is an INSANE story and I can’t believe no one else has done a podcast on this. Thank you for bringing light on this.

Gotta say I agree with the negatives. This podcast used to be better. Now it just teaches me what to look for in bad storytelling. I will say I like the host intros. Then again maybe it was always this bad and the newness of it had yet to wane. But hey maybe we can’t blame the guy. The shear quantity of stories is sick. I just want to find a gem in all this rough.

Started with the Ranger stories and went from there. Really like the way you tell the stories, I can see it as if I’m watching a movie. Great story telling. Enjoying the podcast

Love this podcast.

I listened for a long time until the sloppiness was too much to handle. Mispronounced words, not deleting mistakes, and more than 50% of the material is regurgitated old stories mixed in with the new. I won’t be listening anymore.

Hi I’m new to this podcast! If you want something horrifying, than you need to make an episode on Yokai. Yokai is an ancient Japanese ghost like creature. For instance, one is called the head muncher. It is truly insane.

I smell a professional writer. Fantastic tip of the hat to Franz Kafka, Mary Wesley, hint of Shelly, applicable, world wide, horror epiphany. OR: Check out last story in show. It’s not like the others. I enjoyed it immensely.

Boring and clearly completely fake stories. Shocked at all the high ratings.

So I wanted to write this review for a while. This is definitely a podcast that I listen to all the time. The stories are interesting and fun, and they do a good job of presenting them. However, whoever is recording, this podcast is not doing a very good job of editing the podcast because you will consistently find them repeating sentences in a different tone meaning that they know how to edit, but for some reason keep both edits this is so incredibly annoying and the Podcaster doesn’t seem to care or has no idea how to use the software which in and of itself is terrible. In addition to that this is supposed to be true stories however, this podcast for some reason attracts a lot of ridiculous stories from authors that are obviously fictional writers, other than that, it’s really good but if you want to hear real true stories, I would go over to monsters among us

….but I don’t understand why all of these podcasts have someone using the same bizarre, emotionless monotone robot serial killer voice. Where is the story telling? It’s like listening g to an awkward 15 y/o being forced to read from the Torah at his Bar-mitzvah.

Great story I liked your story the most

I love listening to this podcast but about once or twice an episode the narrator will stutter and repeat things 2-3 times. Also in a couple of episodes he will stutter and then clap then restart his sentence, not sure what that’s all about.

I listen to Swamp on all platforms and he is the best at story telling

Bone jarringly loud commercial interruptions. Pretty ridiculous for a 20 minute cast. Unfollowing.
