This was my favorite show and I never missed an episode. But now he put it behind a paywall and delays the release many days to podcast listeners. Total waste of time now news is three days old before he posts it here not worth my time to listen to old casts. Good look on sub stack, I hope you get your money because I’m OUT.

I strongly disagree with Mr Armstrong is only for the fact we need domestic production of Technology, pharma, steel, rare earth minerals and oil. Not to insulate us but to insure domestic logistic lines in a world in conflict. On a final note we need to end the Federal reserve.

Mike brings in excellent guests and lets them talk. He doesn’t cut them off all the time or make the podcast all about himself, which is refreshing. This is one of the main podcasts I listen to in order to keep up with what is really happening in the world.

Like the title suggested, there is very little homework done by the podcaster before bringing the guests on, limited knowledge or none at all of each topic the guests specialize. Same mumble and complaining every single time that I had to skip sometimes when the podcaster speaks. After few years of following, I’m giving up

Mike gets some amazing guest. They are very interesting and I enjoy listening to the most of the podcasts. Of all the podcast I listen to, the guest Mike gets and what they have to say are top notch, I rate A+. As for Mike, he is average at best. He tends to ask the same questions to every guest he has on and usually he offer same boring input and brings up his same limited life experiences every podcast. A very dull podcaster. Ways to improve, travel more and have real life experiences other than trail running, going to yoga, visiting Cleveland and State College. For instance he live in Arizona, being a poll worker would have been a great opportunity to do and share this experience. Also I can tell Mike reads very little, he only knows about his guests based on what they say on other podcasts. Mike can certainly do better but I feel he will prefer to just wing it!

Great podcast! Important perspective. Please stop the "positive doomer" talk. It's not helping. Cowboy up, and form a network that helps people prepare. Move on, and into a more proactive mindset. Take inspiration from what Mattis said when they asked him what keeps him up at night: "Nothing; I keep the adversary up at night"...

A great podcast except when he ventures into the area of nutrition. I have no problem with his advocacy for eating meat but he totally misrepresents the vegan diet by making the misguided assumption that vegans are all eating fake meat. All of the problems he associates with a plant based diet can be completely avoided for most people by eating real food - fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, legumes, nuts and seeds and whole grains. When he sticks to politics, culture, social issues, etc. this is a very entertaining podcast.

Love this podcast. Just discovered it. Utterly refreshing to hear wide ranging conversation - feels free.

The widely shared Ed Dowd interview is how I found this great podcast. I immediately listened to other episodes. Lots of great interviews with notable people. It’s interesting that the ratings are overwhelming 5 stars. The very few that aren’t 5’s are 1’s or 2’s. Mike is over the target!

Michael’s conversation style is awesome. I can honestly say he is probably one of the most talented hosts in the US. Truly has a gift for this!

The Walsh v Ed’s rivalry interviews are great! The interview with Plouse is my favorite, but I may be biased since he’s my soon to be brother in law.

Mike has had some high quality guests with very diverse backgrounds. The common denominator between all of his guests is that they all represent excellence in their respective field. Mike has a real knack for guiding the conversations and really diving below the surface level to get to know what makes each guest tick and he helps to tell the story of what got them to where they are today. I listen to a lot of different podcasts and this one has definitely made it into my regular rotation. Very entertaining!

Michael Farris is more than a man, he’s a myth! Love his knowledge of sports and his great sense of humor. Keep up the good work.

Great show! Michael’s guests are interesting and he does a terrific job at interviewing. Also love the boxing episodes ( it is not a boxing only podcast, but he loves the sport and has some amazing guests) and we need as many people as we can get to keep that great sport alive.
