    It’s genocide
It bothers me when people bring things up once on a podcast reflecting their political beliefs and then never again, I’d like to hear Greg’s opinion on Allison’s Zionistic tendencies lol I don’t have kids btw

    Used to be better
Alison still brings a lot to the table. She’s funny, asks Greg thoughtful questions, shares meaningful anecdotes. Greg acts like this podcast is the least important thing to check off on his to-do list. Not fair to Alison and, frankly, unprofessional

    Chill out Fitzdawg
You’re making me cringe listening to Allison play along with you for your too long jokes that aren’t funny. Read the room! Nobody bats 1.000, when you swing and miss move on, don’t double down. Allison don’t be afraid to lead this pod.

    I’m getting confused…
... does Greg just make things up? The email with the 7 kids? I’m hoping this podcast will still be sincere, as I always thought it was? Or is a lot of it a joke on the listeners?

    Congratulations Greg!!!

    More childish
Twice a month is not enough!! I love the banter but it seems forever between shows.

    Cringe endorsements
Enjoyed the show as a loved Allison’s sensibilities from the Adam Carolla show but after a 20 minute disingenuous ad for flu vaccines which are “not 100% safe for kids” according to their own material in the box, the righteous ignorance on the subject is too big of a red flag for me to support.

Greg and Allison are an awesome duo
These two have such great chemistry. Podcast is heartfelt and hilarious

    Show has Become Very Unprofessional
I have been a fan of Alison and Greg since first hearing them on the Adam C. show.  I was excited to learn they were starting this podcast, and I’ve listened to every show (even though I don’t have any children of my own).  I even gave them a 5-star review in the early months.  Lately, however, it seems like they just don’t care anymore.  Most frustrating is when they think they know or remember hearing something, and then one of them starts to look it up on Google, and the audience has to wait.  Why don’t they pause the recording, or else edit this search time out afterwards?  Greg repeatedly states “facts” that are not true, or that he’s gotten mixed up, and has this perverse pride in doubling down on his error.  I’m getting pretty tired of talking back to my podcast app: “No, wrong, it wasn’t him it was ________,” etc.  It seems like there is no preparation or post-production anymore; maybe they should stop if they’re so bored with the project.

    Ep 159 1:01:34, 10 seconds of horror!
I was admittedly absentmindedly listening to this ep when suddenly “childish can’t continue” said Greg “th-this is the last episode!” Alison (clearly distraught) added. I quickly grieved, blamed myself for not buying merch or leaving a review sooner🤧. I rewound, desperate to understand…. and then I realized it was just out-tro to banter and had a giggle. Love you both ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Adult friends talking
As a parent I need this reminder that the crazy ebbs and flows. Thankful for the highs and lows! Allison and Greg are funny and Witty! Definitely give this pod a listen🤗

    Favorite Podcast Duo
Alison and Greg are a great comedic balance. I enjoy Alison’s sarcasm and Greg’s dry humor. I am about the same age as Alison and have children about the same age as hers. So, I find her stories refreshingly relatable. Greg’s stories from the past are often wild and crazy. What a life he’s had. He loves his family so much. He seems tough on the outside but he’s a big teddy bear. Even if you’re not a parent, there is plenty of adult content to keep you entertained. I especially look forward to their highs and lows. I really wish/hope they would return to weekly episodes because I enjoy this podcast so much. It’s a nice break from true crime. I mean, who wouldn’t be on the edge of their seat wondering if Alison finally allowed some back door action?

    Greg carries the pod
Greg is so entertaining and I love him on any podcast, that being said Alison’s stories are so loooooooooong and excruciatingly boring. I still listen for Greg tho.

Love this podcast!!! Greg and Allison have a great chemistry and their 2 different Viewpoints are both refreshing Nd hilarious. His children are older and hers are younger and it’s a great chemistry!

You cut Greg off because you weren’t listening and that was so heartfelt what he was talking about :( I’m glad you brought it back up because I can tell you hurt his feelings.

    My new favorite podcast
I discovered Childish this summer and it has quickly become my new favorite podcast. Alison and Greg are so funny and honest and real together. It’s an entertaining listen and I am always left with a smile. Thank you, Greg and Alison, for sharing with all of us!

When emotion replaces intelligence and meets confidence…
After a couple years it’s time to call it quits. These two never have to worry about ignorance on subject matter getting in the way of speaking with authority or confidence. But don’t worry, when they get their rants in they’ll wrap it up with “let’s not get *insert topic*” after inundating the listener with their one sided and ignorant rant. We get it, you’re liberal and anyone who doesn’t agree with you is the second coming of Hitler, and that Greg threw a move on the wife, and that Alison doesn’t like sex. Time to hang it up.
  • ElTeo1234
    What the?
Alison. What’s with this stop-on-a-dime and take a quick breath in before getting a thought out 100 times a show. Holy smokes is that making the show hard to listen to. Year old tick that really needs to go bye bye.

“Californication” The álbum will be 25 years old in 25 months
If you’re surprised by that fact, maybe you’re a parent like Greg. Maybe you’ll enjoy hearing Alison remind him to take his pills.

A great listen whether you have kids or not
I love this podcast even though I don't have kids, they really don’t talk about parenting that much. Alison and Greg’s personalities mix well together and perfectly balance out. Every week I wonder, can they do it again? And every week they continue to do it despite the odds! Definitely recommend.

    Great podcast
I love both of these podcasters and they come together to make another great show!

No kids, not married, but I love the show.
I’m a 38 year old dude with no plans to get married or have kids, but I’ve loved the show since the start. I feel like Greg and Alison are the surrogate, competent parents I never had, and their combined wisdom has made me consider how I can be a better man. Greg: Keep on keeping my spirits high with how you handle decades of child rearing. Alison: Keep on inspiring me with how a smart, beautiful woman approaches civic and moral responsibility. Your kids will love you for it! I feel the harried sensitivities and joys of parenthood as if experiencing them myself when I listen. Thank you!

Greg Fitzsimmons, though not a spring chicken, is super sexy. And, Alison is one of the smartest women I’ve heard on a podcast.

    Aaaaaand
I enjoy listening to Greg & Alison's anecdotes and opinions on current events and social norms. Greg is a funny comedian and Alison tries to keep things positive. The parenting stories are usually funny. If only Alison would stop saying "aaaaaand," I would give this show five stars.
  • JoyWhitCST
    Hilarious & Comforting
Alison & Greg will keep you laughing while also giving supportive, thoughtful advice & commentary on life. So often parents of newborns & toddlers are told “it gets worse”. What a horrible thing to say to a struggling parents. You won’t get that here, instead on a recent episode, Greg said “it doesn’t get easier” referring to parenting older teenagers. It may seem like a small difference but it means a lot to someone dealing with mommy guilt or trying to survive the sleepless nights & new postpartum life. It doesn’t get easy but you get better if you listen to Childish!

    Childfree listener likes this.
I'm a childfree listener and mainly began listening to the pod bc of Alison who I am borderline crushy on and her specific laugh is so delightful. Greg is really growing on me. After listening a few eps I realize Greg reminds me of a section of my extended family (who I like) whose voices all naturally carry even in their normal speaking tone, as if they're constantly trying to speak to someone standing in the doorway of a bedroom while they're digging in a closet for something. Not yelling, but a natural raised volume/tone; I used to hear these people at family reunions as a kid, and hearing this podcast, reminds me of those simpler times in a way, as a cool perk in addition to hearing Alison in another something 😅 Pod isn't so much about kids but moreso a chatty-chummy but super-blunt pod with stroller-urchin rearing topics sprinkled in, and not preachy. Deffo becoming a long term pod for me!

    Victims of Covid
This use to be a great show and a great alternative perspective to parenting from the more conservative southern culture I live in. They use to be at least reasonable and fair about the fact that others may disagree on political/hot button issues. Since so many were swept by covid hysteria I decided to just take a break from listening since there is enough fear messaging in our lives as it is. First episode back to listening and both hosts are not only advocating but are borderline shaming people who wouldn’t vaccinate their children from SARS COV2. The reasoning only being trust the science people who say so and that is light years from the critical thinking approach to parenting that made me love the podcast to begin with. I wish them the best but I couldn’t stay silent when a parenting podcast was so carelessly encouraging unnecessary and unknown risk to children.

    The 1%
I love the show Fitzsimmons is hilarious. If you want to hear an entitled Karen complain about how her babysitter left her then this is the podcast for you. Greg will say anything so if you’re too woke you’re bound to be insulted. If you wanna know how the 1% lives this is the podcast for you. I love it keep it up you two.

The problem with this show is Alison Rosen. She is one of those people who, like a trained seal, happily honks out anti-first amendment gems like “you can say whatever you want but watch what happens if you do”. I’m so glad this progressive hack got a taste of what she advocates for when she was attacked in her mother’s group. Maybe now you’ll wake up (probably not), but this is what people talk about when they refer to the snake eating its tail. Enjoy.

    Easy
Just found this podcast from listening to old episodes of Christina Ps WMMA and heard Alisons interview. I’m a Mommy Jean for Life and love all things YMH, but I immediately took to this podcast. Alison and Greg’s conversations are easy and organic. They’re funny, honest and relatable. Subscribed and listening to back episodes.

    Great Show!
This wholesome podcast is great for the whole family to enjoy. If you don't want to raise little serial killers; best you listen to the wisdom of Alison and Ol' G Dawg. As a person that has yet to impregnate anyone, this isn't an issue for me, but I listen all the same. Definitely would recommend. That's what this is, a raving recommendation. -Neil

    greg...
the latest episode when they were talking about doing in person recordings and greg said he was being safe with covid??? while he is traveling to do comedy shows...doesn’t make sense. glad alison sort of called him out on it but i don’t think he understands what safe means.

    Great! One tip tho..
Can Greg put the mic a few inches further back?? Thanks guys

    Love!
This is such a wholesome, hilarious, and relatable podcast. I was introduced to Greg from the Whiskey Ginger pod and immediately fell in love with him. Now because of this pod, I’m in love with Alison! They’re both so funny and great story tellers. Definitely download!!! You won’t regret it!

    Okay
The podcast is fun and a good contrast between Alison, smart anxious mom, and Greg, stupid and overconfident dad. I always wonder what idiots are really having thanksgiving gatherings or traveling during covid. I get insight into this stupidity through Greg, whose family is traveling (his mother?!!) and generally seeming to not follow the rules. Alison always seems to be trying to hold in her horror at Greg’s behavior. Greg also says so many wrong things with such confidence it’s insane. I think Alison needs to get more confidence and contradict Greg bc she often just goes with his idiotic remarks or incorrect info. I’m really turned off by the way Alison acts on this show versus her own.
