Media usually only highlights one’s successes and fails to bring light to failures, but it is through failures that we are able to learn. Dan Lok has been a huge help for me , he gives a lot of free value with his free content on his show and on his YouTube Chanel If it wouldn’t been for him , I’d still be in the matrix , he helped me see it and unplug from it , now nothing will be like it use to be. This podcast was recommended by iTunes based on other podcasts I listen to. If you are into consuming podcasts and actually taking the knowledge and applying it to whatever you are doing then this is not a podcast to listen to. It’s for newbies. There isn’t anything wrong with that but his focus on being a experienced marketer seems to be misplaced. His persona shows it but for anyone that knows their craft well you can see through that persona. For anyone that is looking to get out of a daily rut this might be good but I have unsubscribed.

All along I always thought that doing my best at any job I was going to rise to the top and take it to the next level. But I could never rise to the top to take it to the next level because there was no next level in any of the jobs I was working at. I have always been somebody slave, donkey, pack mule, Stepping stone or Mat to wipe their feet on. Now I know that everything I’ve ever done in my life, I can be a consultant to someone. I can have people pay me for my expertise over the last 30 years of myself working in different industries in different jobs.

I love how he uses a lot of analogies and experiences from his life to help explain principles/concepts. Dan Lok can talk about a topic I’ve heard talked about abstractly so many times and he can explain it in such a unique way that really helps me understand how it applies to me. There’s been so many times I’ve been listening to him and he explains something and I’m like “oh my god , that’s me!” And then he helps me understand ME better and the experiences I’ve had. I love that he doesn’t only talk about selling, or that he doesn’t only talk about mindset, or that he doesn’t only talk about goal setting. I love that he talks about everything and how it all connects. Basically, I feel like Dan Lok helps me connect things in my life or life in general that I never realized were connected and he does it in such a way that makes you want to take action with the newfound knowledge right away. As someone who loves learning and aims to stay on top of all the trends, I come across a TON of information. However, Dan Lok is THE REAL DEAL. [There's a lot of people out there regurgitating the same information out there, and this is NOT the case with Dan Lok.] He walks his talk, practices what he preaches, and shows what's REALLY working in the industry. He's also a PHENOMENAL teacher and really understands how to turn knowledge into power... I was blown away with his money mindset training, which undid 38 years of B.S. within a matter of hours. The more I learn from him, the more I am blown away. If you're looking for no-fluff, substance WITH style, and you're tired of the 'smoke and mirrors,' then Dan is the man for you.

Dan the content you produce continues to inspire me to do better. Day after day of listening to your show has really been changing my mindset. One thing that I will hold on to is to work on incremental goals. Thank you for what you do.

Dan's life experiences are a great source of inspiration to me. His thought-provoking stories, metaphors and analogies are very insightful and go a long way to illustrate what he teaches. It helps drive the message and lessons home from my perspective. The tips he gives and the lessons he teaches has really gone a long way in influencing my mindset and way of thinking. The strategies he recommends are very pragmatic and practical. He is a straight shooter and a no-BS kind of guy. I love the quality of content, the variety of the topics as well as the delivery of the strategies, tips and lessons he shares and I would rate this 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. One area that needs improvement are the section transitions as well as the volume controls. Transitions: each episode on the podcasts starts with a music intro with Dan’s voice, then Jennie comes in the beginning of episodes and then announces “here is your host, Dan Lok!” towards the end only for another female announcer’s voice to come in again with additional message that is a preview of the contents of the current episode and then announces Dan’s arrival again for a second time. For the first couple of episodes, this threw me off as a new listener because I was expecting to hear Dan’s voice after that transitional announcement. From a listener’s perspective with just audio and no visuals, it does not come across smoothly so I think this part needs some minor adjustment so that Dan is introduced only after the preview of the current episode’s contents. Volume control: after Dan’s message for the episode, there are some episodes where the volume level abruptly goes up and it feels the end of the message and the transition to the closing segment and music is a bit drastic. Some episodes are better with the volume control but majority of them from my perspective have this minor issue. I think this part could use some adjustments as well. So I will rate the volume control and consistency a 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. I would be happy to adjust my rating for this part, if this improves in future episodes. Overall, Dan’s content continues to inspire and motivate me to take actions and the necessary steps I need to make the changes I want to make in my life and career. Dan's podcasts are lazer focused and accurate. His episodes are like going in for surgery! Ouch! Yes it hurts, but in the end the crap is laying on the floor and you now have a chance to get your head on strait. Good work Dan!

Dan really open my eyes with a lot of barriers that I was struggling to break. He is straight forward and basically tell you to get on your hustle. My favorite thing he said and I quote “It’s boy magic, it’s hustle”.... I still struggle with deciding what I want to hustle on but listening to Dan helps me know to continue pushing in life. I want to drop out of college because “college is a scam” lol but I still hold fear in not making it out and looking frowned on by my family
