obx2021Good topicsAll the topics are so interesting and I like that the episodes aren’t dragged too long. I learn a lot from the content! as a foreign listener the only thing that makes it hard to listen to more than one episode in a row is that she says “right” a looot. I can’t not hear it anymore, which is probably more my problem than hers.

uchrobGreat podcast for guardians of “difficult” dogsI’ve just recently started listening but this is quickly becoming my favorite dog training podcast. I like that Rachel’s advice is practical for being out in the real world. I also appreciate how candid she is about her own dogs.

Bejeweler9Quality information from a fabulous trainerI am a positive reinforcement trainer (who has had the pleasure of getting to know Rachel as I also live nearby in Colorado), and her podcast is top notch. It’s full of practical advice for owners without talking down to you. Rachel is an amazing trainer and person and I highly recommend this podcast to anyone with dogs!
-
ContagiousSwagthis podcast is a GEM!THANK YOU for this podcast!!! You have taught me (and enabled me) to be the kind, compassionate, and intentional dog parent that I’ve always wanted to be. Thanks for making this information accessible and, yes, I do smooch my puppy for you :)
-
ShaydaRiFabulous info for dog parents!Seriously this podcast is priceless for anyone living with dogs! Current, up to date behavior knowledge and education.
-
consueyGreat podcastWe love Rachel. This podcast has helped me to understand dog behavior and to remind me that I am not alone in living and caring for a reactive dog. We also did her reactive redefine course, which was a good experience. I miss the weekly group calls, but this podcast is a great way to keep learning.
-
tomidogReal tips for real life with dogs!I love this podcast. Rachel provides training advice and tips for real life with dogs so you can develop your relationship through kindness, compassion, and positive reinforcement. She shares real scenarios and her years of experience from a realistic perspective that connects with many dog guardians. I’m a professional dog trainer and I recommend this podcast to my friends and clients, too. 🐾🐾

kmunecaSo much good info on dog behaviorI found Rachel on Instagram and started listening to her podcast a few months ago. I have a reactive dog and am always looking for books and podcasts on dog behavior, specifically reactivity and this one is one of the best by far. I enjoy the ones with just her or another trainer/professional. But the ones with her clients have been so helpful too. Thank you for all of the information and also advocating for pitbulls.

Erica 2001Love This Podcast! As someone who volunteers working with shelter dogs who have behavioral challenges, I find this podcast to be helpful & uplifting. In fact, I recommend this podcast all of the time when people on Facebook are looking for some guidance. I love the positivity & the stories that offer a sense of support & encouragement. I love this podcast & am always looking forward to the next episode!
-
AllenwenchI usually love this podcastI usually get so excited to listen to this podcast, but lately it’s been so obviously just marketing for her Reactive Redefined courses. I understand the podcast is a great way to do that, but it honestly takes away from how excited I was about the topic in the title. It’s wonderful that people can afford to do courses like that, but I’m not in a place to do that at this time and was hoping to learn from the free tidbits of knowledge for the time being. Instead of making me want to join the course, it’s making me want to listen less.
-
rescueanimalsEducational & InspiringI truly enjoy the topics and kindness demonstrated in this podcast 🐾♥️🐾 This is how we learn and grow. Thank you 🙌🏼 for sharing the links for free resources and to your guests.
-
puppiespastrypoliticsSo reassuring!I have a 7mo corgi puppy who I have been massively struggling with and listening to this podcast has been incredibly helpful in seeing my puppy as one with struggles rather than a “bad dog”. He didn’t have some hard start to life so I’ve been feeling like a massive failure having a puppy with vet fears and being a frustrated greeter but this podcast gives me hope that my little dude can live a happy and full life!

justinbeibeeluvr2001Changed my relationship with my dogs!Binging on this podcast had helped shift my mindset with my dogs from think they’re being naught to spite me, to understanding they are just trying to get to reinforcement. Not only has my relationship with my dogs drastically improved, but we understand each other better and they are better behaved. Rachel has a lot of interesting topics and makes training fun and attainable. Definitely one of my favorite dog training podcasts!
-
Mitzi_and_friendsRachel is so positiveI discovered this podcast in the summer of 2020 and I always feel better after listening to it. I then found Rachel on IG and later took her Reactive Redefined class. She is always so positive, unlike some trainers out there, and is good with people as well as dogs. She takes time to explain the dog’s motivation and behavior to come up with a good training plan. My dog has made huge progress around things that she used to see as scary - loud noises, trucks, buses, skate boards, nighttime, etc. All of the podcast episodes have helpful advice, but 196 is the best! Thank you Rachel!

Jenna KnellWaylon, Tiva, Rachel fan clubI first discovered Rachel through her Instagram and then proceeded to binge the vast majority of her podcasts episodes. While dogs and their well-being are clearly at the heart of her work, she also does a fantastic job of centering the average dog guardian and validating our shared experiences and struggles. She makes dog training fun, approachable and realistic. I’m also a huge sucker for the case studies. Not only have i gained a ton of practical advice for life with my dogs, I’ve gained community and connections thanks to the way that Rachel brings like minded folks together.
-
Sheela RajjyGood vibes! Supportive, practical, funRachel keeps it real and shares great info for how to responsibly enjoy life with your dogs and keep everyone safe, especially when the dogs are being challenging. I wish I had listened before I got my dog to make some other decisions along the way, the Halloween episode especially hit home for me! She’s got an episode with practical tips for every occasion and I look forward to listening each time they post!
-
Natalie LarreauAlways leaves me with good feelings! This podcast is a must-listen for any dog owner that needs a good dose of positivity and realistic expectations, which is why I’ve been listening every day while I raise my canine teenager. Rachel provides awesome encouragement and guidance from her extensive experience in dog training, while also keeping her episodes very down-to-earth. She candidly shares her own struggles with the dogs in her household, which always helps me have more patience with mine. Thanks for helping me see the big picture and always giving me inspiration to improve my dog’s quality of life!

Reactive Dog GaurdianMr. TuckerWe were at first made aware of Rachel and her program as a last resort to manage our very dog aggressive and anxiety ridden Aussie. After attacking our other dog and hurting her, we thought it would be the end for him. THIS podcast is such a weekly boost of encouragement, education and fun. I literally look forward to it every single week. We are now working WITH Tucker through a lot of issues in the reactive redefined class- WOW! LISTEN to this podcast, people! You will thank me!
-

Highl gunSO INSIGHTFUL, REAL ADVICEI have a 1 year old pittie mix and the advice and perspective shared in this podcast (and Rachel's Instagram!) have been so insightful and reassuring in this training process. A few months ago my dog physically would not go into the vet office, today armed with peanut butter and chicken, we went inside with no fight or pulling! Training can be a very tiring and frustrating process, and really this podcast has helped shift my perspective of what is possible, what I should be aiming for, as well as the helpful reminder to celebrate your wins! Proud of myself and my dog today and beyond thankful for humans as kind and well informed as Rachel for sharing this info.
-
Natalie&RyanGreat dog behavior podcastRachel’s approach to living and connecting with our dogs is practical, kind, validating, and it works! So grateful for her work and her commitment to the mutual well-being of humans and dogs 💖🐶🐺💖
-
Lady blackoutEncouraging and funListening to Rachel’s real human take on tough dog issues is encouraging. She’s personable and makes what is usually a pretty daunting thing with troubled dogs, feel doable. And I think more dog owners need to hear this type of discussion.
-
Aaron937278Highly recommend!I love this podcast! Rachel gives such great positive reinforcement training advice and is so much fun! Her stories of the struggles she has faced with her dogs definitely make me feel seen. I love her attitude about laughing it off and then working through a problem with our dogs. I also appreciate that, while she promotes positive reinforcement, she doesn’t villainize those who use other methods - she simply tells you why what she does works and why it can work for you too.
-
brieclark102Best dog podcast ever!I found Rachel's podcast about a year ago, and hearing her be so enthusiastic about helping dogs and their parents live better and more fulfilled lives was really inspiring! After adopting my reactive dog, I got a job as a dog trainer. Whether it's with dog training questions for work, or about my dog, Rachel is super responsive and helpful on Instagram :) She's also helped me a ton with my dog through both Reactive Redefined and private training sessions! Thank you so much for creating this incredible podcast and bringing the world positive dog training content every week 🐕

Scooby and MuffinDisorderly Dogs The PodcastI love listening to Disorderly Dogs. It gives me insight and tips on my two dogs. Not only has Rachel shared helpful tips, I have found other resources as well. My dogs are small dogs and still find the pitbull story podcasts insightful and helpful. Some of my favorite podcasts have been Halloween, Consent with Little Dogs, Toby Project (pitbull stories), car reactivity, and fence fighting. One of my favorite resources has been Toby Project’s Instagram page. If I hadn’t listened to the podcast, I would probably never have found it. Thank You!

erika&mackSome of the best free training advice out there! While listening to podcasts will never be a substitute for hiring a certified professional dog trainer, I learned so many helpful dog tips and tricks in every single episode! I also love that in addition to her training advice episodes she also interviews other trainers, dog guardians, those that work in shelters and rescues — she really covers all aspects of the dog world. You can’t go wrong subscribing to this podcast if you have any interest in the well-being of dogs!
-
ErinrsantaLook at it!From this podcast I learned how to stop my dogs from going ballistic when they see another dog. I learned that by saying “good”, and rewarding right then, it prevents them from escalating! It really does work! A lot of it is geared toward bully-dog types, buttons dogs have seemingly similar personalities to the dogs in the podcasts, so it has been helpful.
-
Marianna & DorianWe love Disorderly Dogs!I recently adopted a sweet pup with some reactivity and hyper-arousal and was desperately looking for some support. As a new dog parent it can be so overwhelming to sort through all the information out there! Rachel (and her awesome guests) cover all the topics I’d want in such a helpful, concise, and relatable manner. Plus, she reminds me that I’m not alone in helping my pup work through his anxieties! So grateful I’ve found this podcast. 💙
-

-
Wolfe CSo happy to have found this!Rachael does an amazing job discussing REAL LIFE situations people experience with their dogs on a daily basis. She’s so down to earth and makes everything so easy to follow. Look forward to listening to each new episode!

Caitlin StricklingI look forward to this every week!I found this podcast when Melissa Dallier was interviewed on puppies and fell in love immediately. Each episode is informational and entertaining, so much so that I have listened to most of them more than once. Such a great resource and I am always excited when a new episode drops!

jgpuma1966Dog parksAdopting a Belgium malinois was a challenge to say the least. Hiring Rachel as a trainer was a game changer. Her podcasts give me a bit of extra advice when I’m not working with her directly. Brilliance and patience don’t even begin to describe her skill set. I highly recommend this podcast.
-
trishiriyeGreat podcast!Nice blend of training tips and dog talk- I am always on the hunt for positive reinforcement podcasts and this one is a keeper! I hit the subscribe button about 5 minutes in!

HmongiatGreat dog training podcastI unfortunately just started listening to your podcast. I have loved every episode so far and my only complaint is that I started listening too late and missed some of your earlier episodes. Keep up the great work!
-
ontracvetKeep up the great work!So many great topics! Thanks for understanding the benefit of, and promoting, chiropractic care for dogs. I love listening while driving to & from clients’ homes!!
-
Z. RiveraVery helpfulI’m not usually a fan of the talk radio style of podcast but the unstructured easy going talk that Rachel has is fun to listen and very helpful! Most of the time I’ve spent with trainers is so structured and time sensitive you don’t get to have an open, candid conversation. This podcast is like hanging out with a trainer and getting to pick their brain versus having only specific questions to ask with a limited amount of time. Uh, thanks a lot Rachel! This podcast is greatly appreciated...
-
Manders1029Great podcast to share with clients!Rachel is awesome, I love every single episode and how she breaks things down for the normal dog owner that may not be as training/dog savvy. I always recommend her podcasts to my clients, whom all say how great and informative all the episodes are!
-
Stephanie- P & BIf you are a dog owner this podcast is AMAZINGI recently just discovered this podcast and it has quickly became my favorite one to listen to. Rachel is super easy to listen to and makes her points clear and easy to understand. Her tips for being the best dog owner you can be are phenomenal for a novice dog owner to an experienced dog owner; it’s all about furthering the relationship between you and your dog and making sure you both are happy and comfortable without harsh practices. I always find myself waiting for the next episode. Thank you for such a great podcast in the dog realm!
-

K_Nicole35Great podcast for all dog moms and dog dads out there!I have a 1 1/2 year old black and white mutt named Sky. She’s a sweetheart, and has a lot of energy. We work with her a lot, using many of the techniques Rachel explains in the first episode. I love the short reminders of how to continue to teach my dog, manage some of her undesirable behaviors, and improve our lives together. Looking forward to your tips on recall and would love to hear about how you use management and training out in the world, like on walks or hiking! Thank you!
-
JoaquinRomero10 starsRachel is the best. She is one of the most helpful, informative, intuitive, people I’ve ever met. She helped when my dog got into a bit of trouble. More than training my dog she helped me understand what I needed to do to see the behavior that I wanted from my pet. 5 stars is not enough.
