    i somehow didn't get fired
my earbuds stopped working in the middle of my shift at my campus job whilst i was listening to this podcast, causing me to accidentally blast a room full of painting students with steph sterling yelling about why jonathan's butt isn't filled with worms. my supervisor is currently writing me a letter of recommendation. thanks!

So good it makes me want to dust off the lust gurney and put on a mesh tank top. Because no one can resist the party.

    Proceed with caution!
Extremely gross, but usually extremely funny in spite of that. Give one episode a shot, and you’ll know if this is for you or not.

    Extremely niche entertainment
This show’s content is vile but makes me double over with laughter so hard that my sides hurt. It makes it difficult to recommend even to friends with similar senses of humor. The hosts have found their niche and they are thriving in it. I would recommend listening to the prequel shows (Podtoid 2011-2013/Dismal Jesters) before you get to this advanced scatalogical material. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

    Magnificently puerile
They joke a lot about poo but that's only because poo is funny.

    Hurt Jonathan
It feels like John is always about to be hurt either physically, psychologically, emotionally or spiritually and this is very funny for everybody but him.

    Not great but keep going.
I’ll be honest this isn’t the best podcast. However they all seem to be having fun and Jim makes so much stuff enjoy I won’t begrudge him this. Do what makes you happy Jim and I’ll keep supporting you.

Three of the people I loved from Destructiod
This might be a gushy review but between 2008-2014 these people brought talent entertainment to a place I found quite dear. It if fun to hear them all together again having fun.

    Funniest Podcast
I have laughed out loud more listening to this podcast than any other, and I listen to majority comedy podcasts 20+ hours a week. I once burst out laughing just remembering one of the skits when my girlfriend was in the room. I explained what I was laughing at. She told me it was a sick dirty joke, and looked at me like I was crazy. This podcast has the best kind of sickness from three great guys that play off of each other in very entertaining fashion.

The Trio of Terror is back!
Jim, Conrad, and Jonathan have one of the most endearingly strange dynamics I’ve found in the wde world of podcasting. From their old stints on Podtoid, to the Dismal Jesters, to Fistshark Marketing, they’ve never failed to make for compelling listening. Boston’s Favorite Son continues the killstreak. The amount of joy this podcast gives me is equal only to Jonthan’s discomfort and confusion.

Everything you ever needed to know about Boston
This podcast is so stupid and it makes me laugh to the point of tears.
  • Shakey Aitch The Boneyard Conceirge
Tell me what the matter is
Jim (F’n) Sterling (Son) and Conrad Zimmerman reunite with their soft spoken, mild mannered muse, Jonathan Off Road Rules: Northern Trail. Jim and Conrad then pitch numerous ideas to get him back to his previous levels of mega superstardom. Willem Defoe may or may not have a role of some kind. It’s Podtoid or The Dismal Jesters without the pretense of having to talk about video games. You’re mileage will vary there. If you’re not familiar, prepare your loins for irreverent comedy and a platonic love affair. It’s good, basically.

The return of the weirdest trio in podcasting
When I first heard these three on Podtoid, they would try to sprinkle in y’all of games. That’s not what made them great. What kept me coming back was the cheerful lunacy orchestrated by Jim, while Conrad upped the ante and Jonathan acted the sad strait man. I’m overjoyed to be able to get that dynamic yet again, minus the gaming fiddly bits.

    Sometimes They Come Back...
I discovered these fine gentlemen whilst listening to Podtoid in the Summer of 2012. They've been with me every since. No other podcast I've listened to can match this kind of audio comedy while also drifting in and out of current events, pop culture and... "video'd gaymes." ^_^
  • bowisneski
    Now hear me out...
The podcast is off to a fantastic start and it feels like no time has passed. The difference they’ve made in my life from back during the Podtoid days until today can’t be understated and I can’t believe they’re back. To put my surprised excitement about their return in perspective, I was almost as excited about the return of these three gentlemen as I was about the return of Twin Peaks. Please give this podcast a chance to worm its way deep deep inside of you with wriggling love. It’s the job of all of us to build Jonathan from Road Rules profile back up until he is famous again and can rightly reclaim the title of Boston’s Favorite Son.

    Wonderful!
This little jaunt to catapult Jonathan of Road Rules Fame back into the spotlight is a delight to listen to! I’m glad I’m along for this ride to stardom!

    Hear him out...
This show proudly displays an intoxicating amount of enthusiasm with beats of endearing befuddlement at the madness that the titular hosts cohorts throw at him. This is something that you cant get anywhere else
