I’m an everyday listener since November ‘24 and I love the insights and reasoning. Their opinions are based on logical thinking and not narratives. Although Mr. Ellis has the health of Chase DeLauter, I love his perspective. Mr. Latta shares the same trainer as Franmil Reyes, but I have listened to him on his prospects podcast for quite awhile and enjoy his opinions. This podcast is a must for hardcore Guardians fans.

Quickly became the most informative podcast on the Guards. Pretty objective and well-researched. As a result, it’s the antithesis of Cleveland sports talk and unfortunately, Selby is Godcast now. The only drawback is when either hosts flies solo and attempts to provide too much content. The filler tends be both contradictory of precious talking points or repetitive. I think they’d be better off skipping the day or abbreviating the show. But overall, keep up the good work.

Far and away the most ‘inside baseball’ Guardians podcast. The two hosts are full of knowledge and experience. No hot takes or rage takes. Just pure Guardians news and analysis from two people who really understand the organization

You guys rock, and your knowledge is second to none. My one request is less draft talk. I know it’s your guys’ background and it’s the offseason, but it feels like Locked On Draft for a couple shows per week.

I like Justin and Jeff. They are accessible! They answer questions on X and on the show. They don’t shy away from tough subjects. They are very thorough with analysis of minor league prospects, team approach, financials. They don’t always agree with each other, which is refreshing, and they don’t yell for clicks like national types. This is actual organization coverage. They address the draft, the system, other systems, hypotheticals, strengths and weaknesses. They suggest players they would like to see. It’s a great listen.

Jeff and Justin do a great job talking all things Guardians. They are well-versed in the draft, the minor league affiliates, winter ball and the regular season. They walk a fine line between being fans of the team and critical of players, coaches, front office and ownership. The hosts also genuinely like and respect each other and their rapport gets better every show.

They are going to say things you don’t agree with and frustrate you. And they will also tell you about players 2 to 3 years before any aggregator or blogger ever does and why the development strategy matters. If you want to have a measured, stable and intelligent view of Guardians baseball, this is the podcast that should be your daily lesson.

Been looking for years to find Cleveland baseball coverage. Started to listen to Cleveland local sports shows but they only talk about the Browns, even during baseball season. Locked on Guardians is everything I was looking for. I listen everyday on my commute and look forward to each episode. And remember, go go Guardians go!

Love the show. Great knowledge and insight. I know it’s you have to do it. But sometimes you say you will talk about a subject and then just “tease it” to the next episode. Any chance for more 1 on 1 interviews?

I’ve been a quiet everydayer who can be quiet no more. I love the mix of data and baseball passion that come from Jeff and Justin. The deep dive in the playoffs that they do help me get my info fix in about 30 minutes. If you’ve been drifting around the usual spots for Guardians info stop and stay here. During the regular season they are great at covering the team and giving you info on what’s happening on the draft and development front. My only negative is that I wish they would introduce themselves and present their credentials more often 😂. Keep the great work fellas!

My morning drive every day during baseball season. Justin and Jeff provide great insight with both having a background in Cleveland Scouting/Farm System Coverage & Writing (so you know they know what they’re talking about). This year has been especially fun to listen to since Cleveland landed the 1st pick. Both of them have looked at many angles of the Draft and have covered it extensively on the Pod. The two have a very good chemistry together and definitely read/listen to fans comments to incorporate into the podcast (even if I wish they wouldn’t read into every comment from someone with a Twitter account and 50 followers). Jeff gets dinged for being negative, and while I agree he is a little glass-half-empty more so than not, recently he’s been giving things a positive spin. Good things happen when you win I guess! Overall I love the show and appreciate them for taking the time to do this every day. And guys I’ll admit, sometimes I don’t listen the morning after a tough loss but it’s only because I just want to flush it and move onto the next… Anyways Thanks for the excellent pod and keep up the great work!

Updated review to 5 stars after the explanation! As an everydayer I skip the intros because I know it. But that resulted in me apparently missing the explanation for the introductions Really enjoy the podcast! Funny consistent and I always learn something. Don’t know if there’s some sort of stipulation where you need to introduce yourself and your credentials every single day but other than that no complaints

I’ve been listening of about 2 years now. I’ve now become an everyday listener, no longer skipping when they lose. So much insight into the current team as well as the prospects. Jeff and Justin are incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining.

These guys put in late nights to have content ready the next morning. Great insight on the Guardians. Love listening every day

I watch this show daily (even after losses) because they provide the extra knowledge you don’t get just listening to the radio or television broadcast. Cleveland is lucky to have Justin and Jeff as our locked on Guardians hosts.

Love these guys, always pragmatic and insightful.

The team is 33-17 and these guys have been doubting them and negative the whole season. I don’t listen much anymore, because I don’t want to be miserable. Tune in after the sweep and first segment is, “well you look at this lineup and think there is no way they are going to win”.

One of the best Guardians podcasts out there. Everyday I go to the gym with Justin and Jeff to get my daily fix of all things Guardians. Guys do a great job of going beyond the box score and gives you insight over the entire organization. Love those draft updates on off days as well. Thankful that I found this podcast and have become a daily listener. Go, Go, Guardians Go!

I’ve been a listener for years, close to the start of the podcast. Jeff and Justin bring a lot of knowledge to the podcast and it has grown tremendously with Justin’s addition. A must listen to for any guardians fan!

Great daily pod on my Guards. I struggle with the minor league and draft talk but these guys are great and really know the team and they also have a great handle on advanced stats (but in a very accessible way). Five stars.

As an out-of-Ohio Guardians fan since 1993, I look forward to every new episode. Great recaps, fun projections, nice dives into minor league prospects and college players, with an eye on how they might help CLE. Fun banter and a nice pair of perspectives. One minor improvement to make: do not spend any more time complaining about gaining access to players or FO folks for interviews. Don’t care. Just keep doing the stuff that is fun to listen to.

Always a great listen, love the analysis on advanced data and how it is explained on the show.

I have been listening to Jeff and Justin on locked on Guardians for a few years and I can’t say enough positive things about both hosts and the Guardians content that is discussed daily. Go go guardians go!

I enjoy the analysis of the guardians but my lord, when the times are tough it’s impossible to listen to these two (Justin and Jeff) constantly rag on the team. They seem to never be happy with any player ever and are the most knit picking individuals in the game. Zero optimism and zero enjoyment. Appreciate the reality check from time to time to keep us fans grounded but I believe Jeff thinks his word is the “be all end all” when it comes to prospects and how they will pan out. Justin has a great stand alone podcast where he shows a lot more optimism and discussion about prospects from not only his perspective but from other players/org guys/and analysis. Not sorry for my opinion, can’t wait to get called out for it either.

I love hearing your wonderfully well-informed analysis. Can you please make an objective analysis of Jose Ramirez? He’s hitting.231 with runners in scoring position. This is not since Naylor went out—this is for the whole year the year! It’s.211 with two outs. It’s.161 with the bases loaded.

Great way to start my mornings, almost always touches on everything I want to hear about the team and what’s going on.

I religiously listen to every podcast that these guys make. Even their rare solo episodes are amazing! Jeff and Justin have great chemistry. What I love most about the two is that they both know so much yet never sound arrogant or cocky. They are just like the guardians management never getting to low or high after a loss. I also like how they are always updating the listeners on the minor league teams and other guardians news. They are the best in the game! Keep up the great work guys!!

Great podcast!

Being a Cleveland fan that lives in Connecticut, getting all the coverage of the team that most enjoy living in Ohio is difficult. I do watch games using MLBTV and listening to the Radio even way out in Connecticut helps, but I was always left wanting more. As I tried streaming sports radio from Cleveland I got so much Browns and Cavs coverage and never got what I wanted. In walked in Locked On Guardians. I have only been listening since about December, but I have not missed a show or short. Jeff and Justin do an amazing job cover the team I love completely. From the tiniest prospects to late night posts after games and even a live stream. Both gentleman have a baseball IQ that of GM or Scouting Director and explain things in ways that experts to novices can enjoy. Above the amazing job they do, their humor and even their tone and public speaking make me eager to listen to the podcast as I drive to work each morning. They have also sparked a forgot passion in my 16 year old son, that I think was still hurt from the World Series a few years ago and losing Michael Brantley. He has started talking baseball with me and loves to listen to the pod when I drive him to school. Beyond that, they are engaging as well. Comments and questions left on the youtube feed are answered and commented back on and they really have built a sense of community. If you are a Guardians fan, this is a must listen! Keep up the amazing work gentlemen.

The most informative Guardians podcast I’ve found. Jeff and Justin do a great job of breaking down the advanced metrics in a way people are able to understand.

There is no other podcast out there that goes this deep, when it comes to content surrounding the team. The only negative is that the energy of the guys is about as low as possible. And I’m not sure why they introduce themselves at the beginning every time as if every episode is the first episode.

I love the consistent, in depth analysis Jess and Justin bring. It’s refreshing to not only hear the mainstream big picture buzzwords, but hear in depth analysis that goes deeper than my knowledge about the team. They really are one of my favorite daily listens.
