I love this Women’s Bible Study! I started listening one year ago or two I’ve learned so much about Jesus and the gospel. Lisa your honesty and passion to speak Jesus to the world inspires me! The Bible is our one and only authority. I enjoy listening to Lisa, she teaches the Bible. The words of the Bible are not always going to make you warm and fuzzy and I appreciate the way that Lisa delivers the words of God. We need more of this in our current culture and world.

I’ve been a listener to this podcast for awhile and although the content is good most of the time, when it comes to discussing topics that are hard like the episode on rejection, she tends to talk about it in a cheerful way that lacks empathy. It was hard to hear her son tell his story about his wife leaving him and she was making jokes in between. Of course we know God is with us and has a plan, but it’s ok to validate someone’s feeling and not respond with toxic positivity.

Lisa’s biblically sound lessons have really deepened my understanding of the Bible and as a result I have a closer relationship with God which is priceless! Love the messages, the truth and the Biblical teachings from this ministry. :)

Love Lisa she explains the Bible so we understand, sometimes her jokes are way out there but she is great and may god bless her for spreading his word

Preaches the Bible but makes room for bigotry…

So I am 10 listening to this podcast but when I was younger like four or five, I was taught a prayer. It was a simple short little thing and then we’d say in “Jesus name we pray amen”, but when I got to the age of 6 to 8 years old I stopped praying and I didn’t pray for a while when I stopped praying everything changed, my life went down. I started feeling depressed and emotional. I was having really bad anxiety. I was saying bad things about the Lord, and all that stuff then God and Jesus just popped into my head and I started praying again and I still pray to this day and it helped/helps me overcome so many problems in my life. This podcast has helped me so much.

I’m considered a “baby believer” . I’m new to being a devoted Christian. I stumbled upon Lisa’s Bible study one day when searching for a new podcast to listen to. I thought why not. Let’s give women’s Bible study a try. I can always find a new one if it doesn’t work out. Well, after listening to my first Bible study with Lisa I was hooked. She keeps me very engaged and explains things that a baby believer, like me, can understand. I find listening to Lisa has changed my life perspective. I simply feel GOOD after listening to her Bible studies. I’m going through a very difficult time in my life and women’s Bible study with Lisa has lifted me up and gave me all the advice I needed, without asking. It’s pretty amazing how God listens and leads. I’ll be struggling with something and I’ll put on a seemingly “random” lesson and it will just so happen to be EXACTLY what I needed to hear in that moment. Nearly every single time. I want to thank Lisa for her devotion and dedication to this Bible study podcast. I’m moving to Arizona in the near future and I’m truly excited and looking forward to becoming a member of Lisa’s church. Thank you Lisa. God Bless

I really loved listening to this podcast until I heard a comment I found extremely inappropriate. Calling VP Kamala Harris the antichrist was uncalled for and not Christian like at all. Bringing politics to push your agenda is weird and not ok. I want to learn about the Bible hence why the title is “Women’s Bible Study”. Lost a listener!

I really enjoy listening to these podcasts each week on my way to work or when I wake up in the morning. The teachings are very bible based and have helped me deepen my understanding of events and scripture in the Bible. Lisa does a great job of tying the Bible back to real life situations and providing a way of how to overcome hardships through scripture.

I just could not with her voice , it was way to fast , gives me anxiety she even runs out of breath . The words are good great reminders. I just can’t with her staple voice .

I love love listening to this podcast! It has brought me so much more understanding of my love for God. I love how much information i have gained from listening to Lisa as well. My relationship with God has gotten stronger as well as my love for him. But I just say my heart hurts for transgenders, homosexual and people of other religions. Lisa says one thing but then proceeds to sort of judge them for their way of living. She says they are sinning but does nothing to make them want to turn away and come running to Jesus. I guess my heart hurts for them because i know what it’s like to be judged by someone who says they’re not judging u. Very interesting and disheartening 💔💔

I’ve been a Christian since I was born and I absolutely love to listen and study more and more about God as I get older. Listening to Lisa’s helps this journey tremendously!

I don’t recall the name of the man Lisa was interviewing. Some of his insight is questionable to me and leaves me wondering if it’s even Biblical or Biblical with a world view slant.

I listened to some of the anti-Catholic episodes from this podcast and was amused at the lack of knowledge of the Catholic faith. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the fully scripture-based Mass I’ve been attending all my life isn’t biblical at all and that I have actually never been exposed to the Gospels! I found it interesting that comments are turned off on their YouTube channel. That speaks to me of a fear of having their beliefs challenged.

My pre work devotion time with lord includes Lisa’s Podcast. I love this Podcast. She breaks it down to where it is easily understandable. I have been in the church my entire life 42 yrs and I still learn things from Lisa daily. Thanks you Lisa for building us up and winning hearts for the Lord.

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we are studying the Hebrew Bible this calendar year. The other night I decided to cast my net a little wider and listen to different voices as God has salted truth around the world and we are to find it and bring it in. I landed on this podcast and enjoyed the friendliness and knowledge shared by Lisa. Imagine my surprise when the new show dropped on Friday where Lisa is going to tell me what is wrong with my faith. I did check and I can’t see that any other religions are singled out. I’m amused when “Christians” want to put down another’s belief system. I left a Protestant religion 47 years ago when I joined the church and not once have I ever put them down or tried to steer anyone away from them. She cheerfully states that Mormons are “some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet” but… There are plenty of up-front, anti-Mormon pods out there without having one sneak up on me under the guise of fellowship. Based on what I had heard I wasn’t expecting this and have not encountered this type of treatment in other Christian podcasts I have checked out. I hold no anger, just disappointment as I really enjoy the other messages she shares and she has a real passion for the scriptures, otherwise had I, being a new listener not bumped up against this particular show, I would have cheerfully given her 5 stars. I listen to be lifted up, not torn down. Thanks and God bless.

Thank you this podcast. I started down my journey of faith late last year. I was raised as a Catholic, ( baptized, confession, first communion, confirmed and attended CCD classes) I always felt a connection to God but not to the Catholic religion so I did what most do and stopped practicing my faith. Late last year I felt the need/desire so strongly to reconnect with God and our savior Jesus Christ. I now listen to your podcast every week, I read my Bible daily, and praise the lord in song and prayer many times a day. Your guidance has have made me feel stronger in my faith and I am truly grateful.

My husband has lost his job and there is someone that has taken energy to make sure he doesn’t get another one in town. We all have our COVID stories, but some have an extra layer. This has been something I look forward to weekly and has helped me with anxiety and fear in my life right now.

Ive been listening to lisa and her family for about 5 years and they always have a way of making me feel like “everything will be okay” i reached out to lisa via email and she was the most kind person and so giving😭 she made me cry and i felt a hug from her even though i have never met her. I go to this show live here in phoenix, AZ. I also listen to past lessons I missed, on here. Lisa is amazing, a great teacher and super funny. She loves the Lord and is straight to the point in what the Bible says. She’s not afraid to say the hard truths of scriptures; that is one reason I adore her.
