They take so much time talking about themselves that by the time they get to the actual story, I'm annoyed and debating listening to something else.

can listen for an entire 11 hour shift but its like every 10 eps that Danny says something about women that makes zero sense. Episode 314 you said not wearing a bra is “showy” ????? What!! I love you both immensely but please think more about wherever that is coming from. I hate wearing bras because i cannot stand the sensation. I have small breasts and dont feel the need to wear a bra. I havent heard of going braless being scandalous for at least 15 years. What the heck danny

I look forward to every episode!! I listen as I get ready, commute to work, and do chores. I personally enjoy the intros in the beginning with the guests because it provides context for their takes on stories. Things naturally evolve over time and I’ve been here through years and different versions of this podcast and I still am excited to listen to new eps. Keep on keeping on!! :)

I’ve never left a review for anything before. But now that Shannon is leaving, listeners or people interested in possibly listening need to be warned to stay away. The show was incredible with Jake and Shannon. The dynamic with the 3 of them worked to balance out Danny’s disgusting behavior. It was called out. And shut down. And so satisfying for him to get the check he so desperately deserved. When Jake left, the whimsy and unpredictable spark was gone. Shannon carried the show, but Danny ruined it further by attempting passive aggressive “don’t forget im in charge here” vibes on her. She was clearly over it by the end. There is not one likable thing about Danny Vega. Not. One. Thing. When he’s funny and a joke or bit lands, he ruins it either with his screeching voice or his not so veiled incessant need to be liked. Which is incredibly ironic for someone who has textbook superiority complex. The worst part about him is his insincerity. I almost feel like I’d like him more if he just leaned into his weaseliness takes instead of feigning remorse. This man is small. In every way. Honestly, the way he hides behind likable people that obviously can’t stand him makes me feel like this man has skeletons that need to be exposed. Can someone PLEASE “Drake” him like Kendrick? Bc he’s not like us(human beings). And never will be.

Shannon and Danny no longer doing episodes together is giving divorced parents vibes.. they now have guests every episodes so half the time is spent with introductions and anecdotes.. I would must prefer listening to the AITA stories

Danny wears jeans to the gym and doesnt wipe down equipment which is so gross and disgusting- worst than anything Shannon has shared- he also thinks his definition of relationships is the way every “good” relationship should be and thats irrational and delulu Ep477- Danny is so insane- the bakery ep - i cant believe he is so irrational and disrespectful towards OP and his feelings- its times like this that I am grateful for Jake and Shannon and feel sorry for Danny because his response is so pigheaded and narrow minded- he also comes off as sexist at times (ep 489 & 496)- he just doesnt understand women and shouldnt try to explain things for them- its a bit silly to hear try to him explain a womans hormones or compare dandruff to pregnancy stretch-marks (very sad to just hear it)- be better Danny Ep- 611 Updated my rating to two stars- im so sorry to the other hosts but Danny talking abt how he abused dogs on hot summer days was really upsetting and its to date the one episode i refuse to listen to. I really wish Shannon was there to help Danny not sound like a train wreck- also unfollowing show bc of this

How come recently Shannon and Danny haven’t done episodes together? I love their chemistry, while the guests are fun, it’s better when they are together.

I've never written a review in my life but i felt so compelled about this I had to. I've tried listening many times but they talk and talk for about 30 minutes straight about nothing important with each other that nobody knows about besides them and they take forever to read any stories at least change the podcast name if that's not the main objective

Sorry, but this show is terrible. I was searching for a fun AITA pod and tried this one out. Why can’t you speak in your normal voices ??? Everythibg bad is here - vocal fry, whining intonation, nasally voice, abysmal delivery. The letters aren’t even read in full - just poorly truncated.

I said it and im sticking to it. The duality between the two while also being on the same side most times offers a welcome perspective from both Shannon and Danny. This is the pod cast i divorced myself from the geck for. And many other podcasts, i simply cannot express how hilarious and poignant these two are. Dynamic Dynamite Dysfunctional Duo and ive never felt more at home 💞

I absolutely love this podcast. I love Shannon AND Danny. I just appreciate how honest both of them are and how they talk through their disagreements. It definitely gives a lot of unique perspectives and as a result, I feel like Shannon and Danny both give a lot of grace and frankness when it comes to all of the messy scenarios people get themselves into. The banter is one of my favorite parts so please never change!

So entertaining it’s addictive. I can’t stop listening and am hooked. Fine. Take My Patreon money. It’s fine. Sara is funny and relatable and vry, vry smart. Danny’s commitment to growth and self reflection is wonderful to see (hear?) His plays on pronunciation arw hilarious, but his old person voice makes me furious, but only because my husband does the same one and it drives me bananas. Probably I just don’t like old people (just kidding. Or am I?) But I DO love this duo — the way they complement each other and the killer format they’ve come up with for this pod. I can’t recommend this highly enough to pretty much anyone.

I really wanted to like this podcast, however, all the banter in the beginning makes it really difficult to get into. 15 minutes of talking about your brother-in-law turning 28 was a real struggle to get through and unfortunately turned me off from wanting to listen any further.

Hosts are boring and unlikeable with irritating voices. It took 15 minutes to get to an AITA story. Couldn’t get through an episode.

I really tried to like this podcast. It’s just not good. The vocal fry is painful. Maybe others would enjoy this pod but it’s just not for me.

Danny plays an idiot / devils advocate to a lot of situations when it’s he is clearly in the wrong. And, despite calling himself a feminist, takes more than a few misogynistic takes and it’s hard to listen to him argue that the anti-feminist statement is the right one. He needs some work on that, but overall pretty entertaining show.

I started listening to the pod in June and I just got my Spotify Wrapped back today- 9,600 minutes and top 1% of listeners!!😎 Truly an honor! But seriously this podcast is great, and the only podcast I’ll listen to/have ever enjoyed. I work in a cubicle by myself for 8 hours a day so I wanted something to listen to other than music. I saw a clip of this podcast on TikTok and decided to check it out, and haven’t turned back since! It’s perfect to listen to it during work, about 3-4 episodes per day, and it feels like the hosts are my friends/right there with me chatting:) The hosts are all hilarious, relatable and fun to listen to. Thank you for being the best part of the workday and for continually putting out new episodes!!!

Started this podcast because of my interest in the Reddit stories and other peoples drama per usual, but quickly became absolutely obsessed with the hosts and fell in love with the pod! The chemistry between the hosts has been consistently great even as some hosts have changed over the years - look forward to every episode that comes out and can’t get enough. Great takes and lots of laughs, and create an awesome community as well - highly recommend!

… and completely failed at listening to even one full podcast. I tried two different episodes but my goodness, all three hosts are so unlikable and their voices are not made for podcasts. I love AITA stories but this is the worst podcast I have ever listened to.

The whole reason I listen to this show is the stories but man the hosts are losers. City people who do nothing but eat and have no idea how the rest of the world works, gross 🤢 Get some real hobbies Anthony, your fat because of you. If you like Reddit stories, check out two hot takes. It’s a superior version of this show.

I use this show for my weekly 2 hour long commute home and it never disappoints. Super funny and genuine hosts.

I started listening a couple of months ago, when they popped in my IG feed. I’ve gone through and listened to almost every ep! It’s fun to hear the range is situations covered, and the hosts/guests takes. The hosts all have very different perspectives, and life experiences which makes their discussions & dissection of these situations / people so interesting! They’ve definitely provided some views or interpretations that I wouldn’t have thought of, and they're also silly and have good banter! You can feel the love they have for each other! All these negative reviews are nit-picky and exhausting.

I get being a contrarian, but Danny goes on and on to the point that it’s really annoying. Pack it up and move it along, Jesus

I love AITA stories in general so I knew this was the podcast for me. I find myself joining the conversation with them like I’m in the room. I started following their Instagram recently and love that they post AITA stories for us to judge on as well. I always laugh out loud and highly recommend!

Listened to 8 min of the latest episode and shut it off when they edited in the same voice clip twice (the Trump bit about water being a scam). I unfollowed not for a political reason, but an editorial reason. If you can’t properly edit a podcast when you’re this far in, it’s not one worth listening to (IMO).

Love the podcast. I think all three hosts are awesome but Danny can be a little weasel like when he provides his counterarguments to Shannon and Jake’s takes. Maybe it’s between weasel like and childish, a petulant child. Maybe it’s just his whiney voice…

I’ve been listening to this show for about a year now, and have loved all the cohosts. Danny has improved over the course of the podcast (some of his old takes regarding women were extremely upsetting but luckily he has moved along). The one thing I continue to take issue with is how contrary Danny is. Currently listening to the debate on the bakery name change, and it’s is a perfect example of how Danny is sometimes intentionally obtuse and just likes to argue. When everyone agrees on something, he’ll aggressively play devils advocate, and on issues where he actually disagrees, he ignores everyone’s points completely and makes random assumptions about the sitch to back himself up. Idk, I love the pod and I listen regularly, but sometimes it’s so frustrating and the contrarian attitude gets old fast.

Used to be excellent when Danny was reigned in slightly, but now it’s maddening listen to him argue his ridiculous points for so long.
