    Changing offices into housing?
As a former architectural project manager and the author of “The End Of Homele$$ne$$” I can tell you vacant offices will never become a solution to the housing crisis. Owners simply have soured on the conversion costs, conforming to the long tradition of landlords are cheap as they come. On the other end of the equation, society doesn’t want to solve homelessness. I solved it and showed a 6.75% profit for my system. Nobody was interested in government, public-private partnerships, law enforcement, business associations, investors, financiers and celebrity advocates for the cause. One VC in Silicon Valley read the proof on concept and stated, “Your idea will make money, just not enough for us.” Pitched it for years, nobody even replied. A couple years ago, folks would have killed for six and three quarters percent gross margin.

    Concierge Organic Landcare
I got my “start” on the journey to adopting primarily organic practices and native plants in the landscape by enrolling in the Continuing Education Sustainable Landscape Management program a dozen years ago. “Organic” wasn’t yet the mantra. NYBG is not Mt. Cuba Center! Perhaps a “partnership” would be mutually beneficial and accelerate awareness. Sharing content on this podcast between the two might be a great starting point.

Bite size, thoughtful and informative updates
I really enjoy these pieces during my commute. They’re short and packed with information. There’s so much news out there and things to catch up on. I feel this is a great way to get information in a manageable way.

Thank you for telling the truth about the low emissions of nuclear
It’s sad that many looney leftists want to do away with nuclear because they think woke windmills and solar are the answer. Misinformation can be deadly to our planet.

    Mike Wilson
Mike Wilson’s repetitive predictions of an earnings recession last year costed me dearly.

Wonderful except for the dreadful accents
I love the pod. The one major issue is the nonnative English speakers are often very difficult to understand. This isn’t a book where I can read the words. The speakers need to be crystal clear. A few of them are dreadfully difficult to understand.

    Short and informative
This is a nice change from the garden variety podcast on the economy and investing, etc. These episodes are short and to the point, yet remain informative. Vishy is hard for me to understand, so I usually skip his episodes. Mike Wilson was right in 2022, but has been very wrong in 2023.

    Very good insights!
Thanks a lot to Mike for providing investors fresh perspective when the market goes crazy. Do you expect a recession to come in 2024?

    HorribleAudio
Criteria for audio rating: Sonorous, loud, full and rich, projection of voice, crisp & clear. 5 of 5 meets all criteria. If listener has to strain to hear speaker, 0 out of 5. I also consider how effectively speaker makes use of time; i.e., long pauses, lots of uuums and uuuuhs, deviation from point, beating around the bush, and general elocution. About 99% emphasis on audio quality. I use podcast Money Matters with Ken Moraif as 100% standard of AUDIO SOUND QUALITY ONLY, that gets 5 out of 5 rating. Criteria for content: how is this info unique and different from what I can glean from a google search? What advantage can I gain that I can’t from google search? If info is unique & helps elucidate complex and esoteric ideas, gets 5 out of 5. If info is just stuff that can be pretty much read off google searches, gets 0 out of 5. I place 1% emphasis on content (good info is useless if can’t be heard or understood). Audio for this podcast is 1/5. Speakers have heavy foreign accents, that are hard to understand at times. Audio is very soft and I need to strain to hear the info. Very sad with today’s technology. Very poor projection of voice. Now, there are diverse hosts on here, and my review is for the majority of them. Content rating: 0 out of 5 because I can only decipher about 50% of what they’re saying; even less if speaker has strong accent. From what I can hear, all I hear is technical jargon without any explanations. Fine; they’re catering to people who are hip to that, but the vast majority aren’t. So, why bother listening? In general: I wouldn’t waste my time on this podcast. Better options: Yahoo Finance (though not a podcast), Seeking Alpha, Barron’s Streetwise.

    Thoughts on the Market 8/16
Mindless drivel about the causes and conditions of the government shutdown. There is one side driving these shutdowns, the Republicans, and the hosts suggests each side is playing politics. There is the legislative process, where there is lots of political back and forth, and there are these adolescent shutdown threats where a minority of Republicans hold the economy hostage after not liking how the previous negotiations went. This podcast told me nothing but purportedly offered some insight. Not today.

    What about the 30% correction?
Mr. Wilson was pounding the table until recently, calling for a major market pullback due to a slowing US economy and sharply declining corporate earnings. Apparently he’s thrown in the towel on this forecast. No problem with Mike and the team changing their outlook but at least say “our forecast was wrong” before moving on. Very little credibility now…. Glad I didn’t follow the firm’s recommendations and hope many others didn’t as well.

    6 month outlooks
I have respect for commentators like Andrew Sheets but these 6 month prospective outlook commentaries should be coupled with a review of how outlooks from 6 months ago worked out. Unfortunately, the house view 6 months ago related to equities turned out to be very, very wrong. And I am a fan of your work. So have a show that analyzes where the mistakes were made, models turned out wrong, etc. and what’s changed if anything. That will give more credibility to forecasts going forward. In the absence of that, simply doing 6 months outlooks with no thoughtful retrospective analysis is just a sell job that when it actually turns out right, may be due to nothing but luck. Thanks.

    You’re Wrong About Wilson
I agree with the person that said Mike Wilson has been spot on, but if you looked back through the years on when he said to get out of equities and instead left your money in, you’d have done a lot better than trying to time his predictions. Also he may have been right about the 2022 correction but he said that the market was correcting a year earlier. Eventually he’s going to be right. I think he’s a smart guy and understands the market but no one can time it precisely enough to be jumping in and out. As Peter Lynch said “it’s about time in the market, not timing the market “. Also throughout history, more money is lost by trying to avoid a correction and missing out on a rally than would have been lost by the correction itself “

    Wilson spot on
I disagree with the comment that no one has been more wrong about the market than Mike Wilson. Wilson nailed the market moves last year, and the jury is still out on 2023. True, he sold out of the year end 2022 rally early, but there are worse sins than leaving some money on the table.

America needs Mike Wilson’s brand of leadership
I know Mike to have a tireless work ethic, boundless intellectual curiosity and old school, human nature instincts. It’s no surprise that this Michigan Man’s is leading Morgan Stanley both as top analyst and spokesman. I will continue to enjoy Mike’s market perspectives and look forward to his possible contributions in the public sector. Sergeant S of the Kai Wooglin

This podcast is pure gold!! Insights are short, concise, and on point. The information ranges from Domestic to Global equities and bonds. Although typically under 5 minutes, each podcast is packed with great insights and I often find myself listening to an episode 2 or 3 times. Mike Wilson for president
Don’t care what his politics are, he and his team and been spot on during these last 2+ years so whatever they are doing, keep it up!

    Zentner vs. Wilson
I am confused. Morgan Stanley economist Ellen Zentner calling for soft landing (despite 0 for 8 when 3M/10 year yield curve inverts for 10 days and never happening when inflation goes above 4.5%) while chief equity market strategist Mike Wilson is calling for recession (or has he changed his view)? If Fed eases off and growth stays positive why would inflation not heat back up like the late 1970s? I would give credit for a non-consensus soft landing call if it had convincing details but not sure why Mike Wilson is calling for 25% declines in equity prices from here if not forecasting a recession.

    Concise and Monotonic
For investment and market professionals, this podcast gives a concise update and analysis of the market. Unfortunately for the novice investor, the script is filled with industry buzzwords / terminology, rendered in a flat, almost rushed manner, despite forced attempts by the host(s) at a jovial delivery.
