    A {MUST} listen
Hallie’s passion for all things myo, TOTS, and PFDs is contagious!!! She shares the evidence that most of us (SLPs) didn’t know existed because of outdated teachings and practices from grad school. She uses both her personal and professional experience and is so relatable!

The most valuable resource for parents navigating TOTs and OMDs
After a year of my baby not sleeping more than an hour or two at a time, I finally found Hallies Podcast when she was a guest on another podcast I follow. She talked about the red flags of sleep issues, and I finally felt like it all made sense. I’m so grateful for the educational resource that this podcast is, because it made me a much more informed parent, and I was able to effectively advocate for the care my child needs. I was dismissed by numerous well meaning providers, but now, with the information I have from listening to all the professionals on this podcast, I can ask better questions and insist we see providers that can help us in improving my daughters airway and sleep. Thank you Hallie!

    Always a great listen!
As a provider in this space, I appreciate the quality and content of each episode. Hallie keeps things fun while also delving into the technical without losing flow. I like hearing about myo and feeding from so many perspectives and I enjoy the atmosphere of sharing and collaboration. I highly recommend to new and seasoned practitioners as well as parents who are trying to navigate myofunctional concerns for their families. Keep it up, Hallie!

So informative, up-to-date, and spot on!
I love Hallie’s podcast, it’s truly one of my favorites! She always encourages parents and professionals to get to the root cause, which is often but not always a tongue restriction. She preaches a team approach to best help her clients and those who are listening to the podcast reach their fullest potential. I just want to say “Amen” like every two minutes when I’m listening, it’s just so good! I’m very thankful she puts the time and energy into this endeavor because it’s a ton of work! Thanks again, Hallie, for creating this incredible resource for parents and providers.

    A must-listen podcast!
I can’t sing Hallie’s praises enough! She is a phenomenal clinician who is bringing so much needed education to the world of pediatric feeding! Every one of her podcast episodes is enlightening and invigorating to me as a provider in this field, and also as a mom to three kids who’ve had their own TOTs journeys and a husband with an OMD. Definitely give her episodes a listen!

A “must listen” for pediatric SLPs and OTs
I discovered Hallie and her work in the field of pediatric feeding in September of 2020. I can now be lumped in the category of official STALKER because everything this amazing woman puts her hands and heart on is golden. I recently learned she had a podcast, and like everything else I have experienced and learned and used made by Hallie, it is a MUST LISTEN for SLPs and OTs. Do yourself a favor and go straight for the EBP information, the years and years of study Hallie put in, and learn from the best in pediatric feeding disorders.

Best Evidenced Based Feeding Podcast out here!
Hallie's podcast led me down the road to furthering my education both on TOTS and MYO. This podcast, and all the leading experts she brings to the podcast are leaders in the field! Her Feed The Peds course was a game changer for me as an OT. I've been listening for a year now and learning so much every week! It has changed my treatments and improved the outcomes for my babies! Thank you Hallie! Keep up the good work!

    Very informative!
This podcast is my favorite of any to listen to in the Speech Pathology/Oral Myology world. It has opened my eyes to all the professionals that practice in this space to help those who present with OMDs, and it has helped me expand my practice to help a wider variety of disorders. Thank you for this informative podcast, Hallie!!

    Best Evidence based podcast!
Finally the ties world has an informative and helpful podcast for professionals and parents alike! Hallie is a fantastic pediatric feeding therapist and orofacial myologist who has guests from all professions within the TOTs and Myo world talking about their clinical and evidence based findings. For those who are saying there’s a lack of evidence, If you have half a brain you can look up the plethora of evidence based articles available. Look up the people who are on her podcast, and look up works by SLPs Robyn Walsh, Lori Overland, Diane Bahr, Linda D’Onofrio (just to name a few) and expand your narrow mind :-) Thank you Hallie for all the hard work you do and your dedication in bringing your knowledge and that of others to the masses!

    One of My Favorite Podcasts!
Hallie brings the EBP when discussing Myo, Tots and PFDs!! I encourage, SLPs, SLPs to be, and grad students to take a listen! TOTs is something that we should be looking for in both adults and peds!

    A podcast I wish I had 15 years ago!
Hallie does her due diligence to provide people with information on a topic she is passionate about. As an SLP I find it informative and relevant to the pediatric population I work with. She provides interviews with professionals (not only SLPs) that allow listeners to hear about the impact of tongue tie from different perspectives. As a mother I wish I had this information 15 years ago as it would have changed my nursing journey with my son.

    My FAVE pediatric feeding podcast
Hallie and guests are the BEST resource I know for pediatric feeding! Hallie has done more than her due diligence in order to provide the best, most current, information in the podcast.

Educational and Fundamental to Feeding and Speech
This podcast is the most educational podcast I have found for learning about orofacial development and understanding the impact tongue, lip, and buccal ties have on speech and feeding. I had always heard that speech therapists shouldn’t even look at ties because they have nothing to do with function but I have found the exact opposite is true. After listening to this podcast, I joined the Feed the Peds training with Hallie and my eyes were opened. This helped me on a professional level as a speech therapist and as a mom with two kids now being identified as having lingual ties. What Hallie reinforced with her knowledge was that as professionals, we don’t know until we know and then we have an obligation to do better and pass on this knowledge. Thanks to this podcast, I will help many more children with feeding and speech issues, including my own.

    Hit the SPOT!
This podcast provided exactly what I was looking for in my search for more information on tongue ties. However, Hallie didn’t stop there. She really took her listeners to the next level by also discussing topics such as Orofacial Myology, airway and breathing, pediatric feeding, breastfeeding, sleep/sleep apnea, tummy time, and more. She has not only shared her own personal story and expertise, but has also interviewed professionals from several disciplines (SLP, RDH, OT, PT, ENT, IBCLC, RRT, dentists, orthodontists, and more). She asks the tough questions and gives her listeners the opportunity to learn from all of these providers. She has also incorporated helpful business lessons into the podcast. I eagerly await the release of her new podcast each week!

The podcast I had been looking for!
When I first started my myofunctional therapy journey, I wish I had found this podcast sooner. Hallie does a wonderful job presenting information in a way that professionals and parents feel equipped to advocate for their children, clients, or even themselves. She has informed experts in the related space that shed light into their prospective fields which has helped me create my own interdisciplinary network in my area. I am so thankful for this podcast and you will be too!

    NOT evidence based
Although Halie has an easy voice to listen to, I find it upsetting all the information she provides has very low evidence or none at all. Unfortunately, it sticks to a single topic and the information is pretty biased.

SLPs, you gotta listen to this!
Recently became more interested in feeding and myofunctional therapy and was looking for a podcast with reputable professionals discussing related issues. Love this one so far! Even if you’re an SLP who is school based or specializes in language or artic, it’s SO important for all of us to at least know what to look for and when to refer. There’s so much more to the oral mechanism than I felt I was taught in grad school. Thanks for making this show!

    ToT ed— love it!
Love getting this two-sided (mother and speech therapist) view of this new and crucial part of feeding therapy. As a SLP and feeding enthusiast I am SO happy you’ve started this podcast. One suggestion— as a chronic fast speaker, I totally relate, but sometimes it is difficult to understand everything because it is so quick lol otherwise, thanks for doing what you do! This is incredible and so needed for our field
