This because.......Engaging, Thought-Provoking, InsightfulI have been addictively really enjoying content from this podcast and Elsa’s and Baron’s other form of media like their YouTube. I love the podcast in particular because it really goes in depth about topics they are knowledgeable about and providing their own insights to their lifestyle/interests to help other people! I think it’s easy to get sucked into media that creates harmful habits and this podcast is a nice change of pace from your regular celebrity news and other forms of social pressure that a lot of media creates. It’s nice to listen and engage with entertainment that is authentic to the people who are running it, and seemingly try to live authentically as themselves! It’s truly inspiring and I would recommend this podcast to everyone and anyone! I also of course need to rep local KC artists! Much love <3

Green_Day_Fan_101High quality, great content, and encouraging! This podcast keeps me engaged on my long commutes, doing the dishes or just to tag along. Really enjoy their perspective on living and intentionality on utilizing the outdoors to their fullest potential but also to serve them and Elsa and Barron serve nature. Their topics are engaging and encouraging to hear that there is more to life than the hustle and bustle of city life/life in America in general. The quality of their podcast, YouTube, and knowledge is genuine and I am glad to be a part of the community 😊

brnjen11Great podcast!!!Update: Love that the podcast has returned, as well as the new adventures of land ownership. I love listening to this podcast especially on my very long daily commute. I also highly recommend checking out their YouTube channel “Elsa Rhae”, as the videos are very well done and edited.

nomadic mainerThe greatest people!I have been following these guys for the past 2 years and they have been such an inspiration! They motivated me to buy a van of my own and start living a more nomadic, minimalist lifestyle! They bring to light such interesting topics and I love the non-typical, no 40-hour work week lifestyle! 10/10 recommend to a friend :)

-
HeadspacebroMust listenHands down one of the most down to earth travel podcast out there. They always seem to see multiple points of views without ever discounting the ones they don’t agree with. Overall just check it out and share back some of the love.
-
ydlukeAwesome contentThank you for making the podcast a regular thing! You don’t have to be a minimalist, nomad, or tiny-lifestyle person to get a lot out of this podcast. But as someone who’s into those things, I get a ton of useful tips from listening to you. Such a great companion to your beautiful YouTube content. 10/10.
-
Stefani TadioThoughtful ConversationI’ve been following Elsa and Barron for a while and am thrilled with their podcast. It’s my favorite format - normal conversations between positive, creative humans.

-
jecrosieEnjoyableEnjoyable Podcast but hope Barron and Elsa take a long, considered look at their love for the Joe Rogan Podcast. He is a comedian and television presenter, not a guru.
-
lindarurLover! Great information!I’ve been following their YouTube channel for a few years. Quality people living life in their own teens and sharing the journey. Looking forward to the house build and all that entails. What elevates their content is that they are decent humans with deep integrity. Always a worthwhile listen or watch.
-
SpockandsherlockThe bestThese pods are an informative, insider look into a sustainable, off grid, alternative life. I like to imagine travels while I listen.

Nay519My absolute favorite!I have been following Elsa, Barron and Kamp on YouTube for a while. I very much enjoy watching their content, and now, I’m thrilled to have the option to listen when I can’t actually watch. I have learned so much from them. They truly give me the courage to try new things. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us! 5 stars!
-
Tuolumne passionAlways waiting for a new post!I am a fan of your You Tube and podcast, so hearing you question how to better serve your listeners I wanted to share that I look forward everyday to seeing if you have anything new for me, and it is with glee that I listen/watch when you surprise me with new postings. I find it interesting that the 3 part winter series did not win interest as I thought it flowed nicely and had interesting content, the last posting in the series was especially fun....I really admire the dedication to this lifestyle, the beauty you live in, how you find solutions everyday and how you love life together. And Elsa I agree....what women would not want to hang with Barron....he is the best and so darn handsome! Hee hee. Keep it going you two!
-
MoonlitAlieStraight up excellent!I found Elsa and Barron through YT and boy they do not disappoint with this excellent podcast! I love how they can dive deeper on different topics on here when they don’t have time in their videos. The Scamp, Kamp, and nomad life are so interesting! Listening to them is a lot of fun, very insightful, and just a good time. Love ya’ll!

J Dan KnoodleNew LandThis is great guys. Glad things are going so well for you. New Life for you. Really enjoyed it.

DontBuyThis!!Great Content!Hi guys! Love your YouTube channel, but think I like this format even more. I’m a 60+ female living full time in an off-the-grid yurt in northern New England for the past 8 years. Happiest I’ve been my whole life. Close to the things important to me. (Nature, silence, friends and family, free time to be healthier and creative). I’ve always valued time over money. People don’t realize how little you really need. Listening to the winter camping episode, you mentioned cold boots. Realize the Scamp is very small, but if you can find a spot close to the wood stove or even near the ceiling, boots will be much warmer than living by the door. My boots hang on a hook over wood stove. And hot water bottles prewarming the bed - or anytime you need more external heat - are worth their weight in gold! I have a designated pan just for re-warming the water. (Don’t use precious new water). Also those (softer) blue 1/2” foam camping pad are awesome for everything. Anytime you feel heat being conducted away from your body, a piece of that blue, close cell pad will make a huge difference. Even standing outside with boots on. If your feet are getting cold, standing on the pad will help. I made a foam ring for the freezing toilet seat. Awesome! (People have no idea how much I baby myself! They think I’m super tough! Lol). Know your situation is different and none of these tips may work for you. Or maybe have considered them. Just thought I’d share. Half the fun with this lifestyle is finding solutions to make one more comfortable, efficient, healthier! You are very lucky to be able to forge your own unique path so early. Social pressure to conform can be ubiquitous and unrelenting. SO cool about the land! Very confident your fans will not only stick around, but go nuts over the new and different content. Best of luck!! 😘 - Cindy

Debra GloriaCongratulationsSo excited for you both! Enjoy listening and watching! Looking forward to seeing your beautiful land! Hugs!

Bob TauberAuthentic and EngagingOver the past 9 months my wife and I have become big fans of this lovely young couple. Whether by accident or design (I’m sure it’s both), these two produce content that manages to relax, inform, inspire and entertain. As impressive as their half a million followers is, what most impressed me is the strong sense of respect and support that prevails among their online community. The rarity of trolls and absence of general contentiousness is truly refreshing. The Normal To Nomad podcast provides a deeper dive into the topics covered in their YouTube videos. While lacking the stunning visuals, each episode is packed with great content ranging from personal hygiene to relationship issues to natural living to business insights delivered in a way that manages to be tight and yet feel spontaneous. A heady mix that has us hooked. If only their dog Camp could talk...😉

Corethebigman1245Elsa and Barron are a POWER COUPLE!I’ve been watching Elsa and Barron’s YouTube channel for the past couple years now and they are two of the most down to earth, fun-loving, and inspirational people I’ve ever had the pleasure of pretending I’m friends with 😂 As a fellow nomad, I love listening to stories of their travels and I appreciate their open-minded views on a lot of topics that I’m also passionate about. Keep up the awesome work. Love you guys!
-
emmaedaugherty10/10Love all the episodes. Love all they produce. Here for all the content.

SpedsusMy absolute FAVORITE Missourians!I have followed Elsa and Barron for three of their four year adventure. I LOVE that they are from MO like me and live through their adventures. The Youtube videos are great but my favorite thing is to discover that they have put out a new podcast. I give over an hour to work in Arkansas from Branson MO so I spend a lot of time listening to podcast. I love to hear Barron’s comforting voice and laugh long with Elsa’s fierce fiery passion for life and space in the Scamp! Guys, even though you do not get as much input back from the podcast, please know that they are LOVED by myself and others. There is just something wonderful about listening to the podcasts that we do not get from YouTube (only the livestreams!) The conversation makes me feel that I have just dropped in for a visit and we are catching up on what’s going on. Please keep them coming. As always love you guys and please come back to AR one day! Susie From Branson

AlexJack99Refreshing and PeacefulIt’s unbelievably refreshing to have discovered people who are living life in a very simple and present way. Elsa and Barron provide an alternative to the greed-focused ceaseless chatter and noise of modern life. They’re wonderful teachers and share tons of information, for free! Listening to this podcast feels like having a calm and gentle conversation with a mentor. They’re not trying to sell you on anything, they’re just walking the walk and kind enough to share their truth. Lovers of nature, simplicity, minimalism (essentialism), and truth, take a listen.

Hammerjean218Wonderful learning source for Nomad living. This couple has the voice for a podcast. I love how they explain things, because they think so deeply about their moves in life. They really look into what they buy, how they travel, what they eat and why. It’s such a learning experience and I appreciate it very much. Update on 1/26/21: still love the podcast. I look for new ones at least twice a week! I watched a video they did with cheapRVliving; they stated they were so excited to do the video with the wonderful man who interviewed them because they looked up to him when starting the whole nomad living. That is how I view Elsa and Barron. They are my go to for nomad living. I am not sure what I like better, the podcast of videos. I love seeing their ideas but I also feel the podcast is more informative. Either way, keep it up!! You are educating so many people!
-
a.smolakJust so good.An informative, easy listening experience. I’m a camping and outdoor enthusiast also and love hearing what they have to say. It’s more than a nomad podcast. I get infornation on that yes, but also life in general, spirituality and finding yourself. So good guys. Love all your content. Thanks for sharing so much of your lives!
-
Lalalayla! The real dealReal, raw, informative look into nomadic life in the wilderness. So many good take aways.

MelanieDBakerAlmost Instant FeedbackI’ve re-binged your podcast this past month and while almost knowing each episode by heart, I still enjoy them immensely. Popping on this morning looking for a podcast to play background to my morning chores, I was beyond delighted to find a new episode! Thank you for taking the time to add to your lovely listening library! Keep them coming! 💜
-
Melba's friendLove the energy and ethosI appreciate on Elsa and Barron’s YouTube that they’re not trying to ape anyone else; they’re just trying to be themselves. Barron’s podcast is alluring for the same reason. Thanks for being yourself.
-
BuckleyJSRelaxed, laid back and informativeI have enjoyed the podcast and well as the YouTube channel (which is where my wife and I first found you both). Odd... we feel like we are remote friends, even though we’ve never written or spoken to each other. Keep it up. We enjoy it all. I like the tech side of things (coming from that background) and my wife loves seeing how things are done, packed and Kamp! :D.
