New to the podcast but don’t love always leading with recruiting. Especially in the middle of the season.. & for game previews?feels like that should be footnotes. Would love time stamps as well. Go canes!

You guy are informative on the recruiting front but when it comes to the overall team I feel it’s more negative then not I feel like it’s a hate cast more then a Miami pod

Longtime subscriber to the site and big fans of the work you guys do. I listen to just about every single Canes podcast and this is easily one of the best out there but these ads and their placement make me want to bail on this show entirely. Get your money but learn how and where to place ads without compromising the flow and overall listening experience of your show. Having ad reads that are repetitive and so obscure that most don’t even care to listen is a good way to lose listeners. Figure it out before I bail and others do as well. We already pay you for “VIP” info that we can truly find for free so when you hop on the mic to share said “VIP” info stop being greedy and making us listen to ads. You already litter the website with them.

Was a great podcast didn’t mind the ads until they started doing them every 5 secs. After each sentence it’s an ad. Need to find another canes podcast

This is a great podcast. I put this podcast a few ago on my car and my 12 year old pointed out David speaks really slow. After that the only way for me to listen to this podcast is at 1.5 speed. Sometimes I have to do 1.25 since Gabby sounds faster almost like an auction. Other than that enjoy it friends. Go Canes!!

During the live game I was screaming to go for the 4th down rather than punting, because the entire drive felt like the Virginia game playing to run out the clock rather than simply going for the kill. Runs, passes well short of the sticks. When we punted I felt it was over… but I thought J.Travis would bust a long run like S.Howell did to kill us.

You two do a GREAT JOB on all things Miami coverage! Your insights on recruiting, game breakdowns, previews, etc but MAN you are always SOO NEGATIVE!! I get it! We haven’t been relevant since 2002 and I want it just as bad as you! But every podcasts, it’s just Debbie downer comment after Debbie downer comment. The fan base RALLIES around what you two say. BRING THE ENERGY. Has manny made some questionable decisions. YES. Has he lost close games. YES. But, what you have simply not acknowledged time and time again is that this team plays HARDDD FOR THIS MAN! That’s how you know he is a LEADER! Look at our UF sisters. They have FOLDED. Miami could have folded after UNC but they didn’t! They battled! Time and time again. Let’s shed this negativity and rally around this team!!!

David and Gaby bring great analysis and keep it real. They are fans of the program and want it to succeed, but don’t let that cloud their judgment of how the team or administration is performing. Any hot-takes are always backed up with sound judgment. Even if they say it’s just a feeling you find it hard to disagree. Gaby had just a feeling Miami would pull off a close one against NC state in October 2021. Their breakdowns are in-depth and they provide the best recruiting news you can find on a podcast.

I love “The U” and try to soak in as much content as possible but this guy is saying “Sort of” every 5 words and I couldn’t finish the pod.

Hey David and Gabby, love the pod! I’ve been listening since summer 2018. Very grateful for y’all’s insight and lack of dramatic hot takes. We need even keeled voices in the Cane fan base. Here’s my question: This season, in many respects, is a disappointment and the call for Manny’s firing is very warranted. However, I’m starting to wonder if this class of super seniors in 2021 is overrated to the point that it’s hindering the team. Aside from King, Harley, and Bolden who is living up to the preseason hype or expectations from last year? My question is this: do you think 2022 may be the break out year? The year where it really is Manny’s recruiting classes as a head coach contributing and the scheme fits are fully realized. That thought alone could buy him one more year in my book, especially if he produces another top 15 class in 2022. Cristobal should still be offered though. Hands down. But it is Cristobal or Manny in my eyes...at least until 2022

Gabi has grown on me and is bringing great insight and honesty without being hot take-y. The honesty from both hosts will be appreciated as the rest of the season is going to be rough and the fans deserve to be informed about what is not up to par as we see things fall apart, not after the fact when it’s “safe” to let the skeletons out of the closet.

As a Canes fan in KS, I heavily rely on 247 especially our guys here in Ivins and Lake. The pods are so good I literally CAN’T save them for later!!! Thanks, guys, keep up the good work! Especially those behind the curtains stories like the one on Tae Williams! I’ve listened to that three times. Can’t wait for emergency pods on a weekly basis in June :-)

Question: how can we see who he has targeted in recruiting over the last 3 years and how he has done? Evan as the 2nd guy recruiting prospects. How has he done? I want to be objective. We all want to give the benefit of the doubt. So what is the real story with Patke? Cause all I see is even less efficient recruiting than Rumph. Maybe I’m wrong?
