HayHayHayHaleyLove Lucy, but…I really enjoy the topics discussed in this podcast and am super inspired by Lucy, in particular. However, I feel deeply uncomfortable and off-put by how often Ben talks over Lucy and/or cuts off what she’s saying. Lucy is an incredible woman and if you’re going to be her husband, you ought to shut up and listen to what she has to say! Obviously it’s not my place to comment on their relationship itself, BUT when it comes to the podcast it really distracts me from the content of the episodes a lot of the time. And that’s a shame, because I would otherwise 10/10 enjoy them. I hope this is well-received. I don’t mean to be so harsh, but I also feel it’s an elephant in the room that no one has addressed, so wanted to voice this as a concern. Truly grateful for all the effort y’all put in!

LamboDegardioFitspiration + suggestionBeen following Lucy on YouTube for awhile, new to the podcast and love it too for fun fitness inspo. Thanks for the seemingly endless content! Would love if you did an episode on something that is seemingly natural for you guys and every other athlete: thoughts on how to cultivate a “killer instinct”. Put another way: how to get pumped up / locked in as a result of friends pushing you at the gym or a crowd cheering for you on the sidelines, instead of what happens to me (and I’m sure others) which is crumbling under the pressure. I think it’s a mindset thing, like a weak instinct that I can’t do it. I feel i can push myself when im alone, but if someone else says “ya, one more rep!!!” I want to drop the weights and punch them in the throat 🤣 Food for thought! 🤷🏻♀️

Jen Kay GeeGreat podcast with lots of anecdotal chatLove this show. great banter, lots of stories rather than evidence based, but usually includes discussion of how broadly applicable their experiences are. Lucy and Ben are so goal orientated and love a personal challenge, which is very motivating. Now I was tempted to give one star because Ben once at a koro treat on the mike, but I resisted lol!

I’ve been following Lucy for a while and love her workouts and her approach to a lot of situations she talks about. I decided to give her and her boyfriends podcast a go and I love it! I listened to a few episodes in a row because I’ve been enjoying it so much! I definitely recommend this podcast 💛

FAIRELECThe Most Informational, Honest Podcast I’ve Ever Listened ToAs only a 16 year old with a passion for lifting, I can’t afford coaching, but listening to this podcast has truly been how I’ve been able to learn so much (don’t get me wrong, I’d still love to be coached by them). Lucy and Ben are some of the most knowledgeable people I’ve come across in the fitness industry, and I’m so grateful that I began listening to them, and not the thousands of other “fitness influencers” who promote things that would be easy for me to fall into as a teenager. Maz75154A Fitness Podcast, but BETTERI’ve been a fan / subscribed to the podcast for over a year now. It’s the best podcast for learning about relevant, fitness topics whilst debunking myths. The podcast reminds me of James Smith’s podcast, but arguably a bit more focused and I adore Lucy/Ben’s ability to make complex topics simple and straightforward. Enough said— give it a listen! This podcast is an amazing hybrid of educational and entertaining. I genuinely always feel like I learn something and find myself listening to the same episode over again and taking notes. Filled with amazing guests, you’re constantly introduced to other leaders in the fitness industry, many of whom are working towards making the industry a better and more accepting place. If you are at all involved in health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, mental health and overall happiness, I can’t recommend this enough!!
