What I meant by that title was the uniqueness of her take on this subject. Getting people who’ve done something special in the business world and making it relatable. The technical speak mingles with the colloquial in a way that makes the ideas that her guests put forth digestible. I started listening because of Grace Beverly’s episode and ended up impressed with both the guest and the host equally. Patricia smashed it! Looking forward to hearing more. I’ve been a subscriber of her youtube channel for years. Since I was a lowly grad student who was super insecure. And Patricia’s videos- especially her How-to personal development ones and her personality, really gave me a confidence boost when I needed it. The effect was temporary but really helpful. And I was thankful. I unsubscribed a couple of years ago when I felt I was getting away from the fashion-related content. (people are allowed to change and grow in different directions. That’s okay!) I still checked into her channel ever once in a while to watch some of her videos. When this podcast came out I had found the content I was looking for again. Congratulations Patricia Bright!

Patrice, you have really been a great companion through your YouTube videos and podcasts to me since I’ve been back from deployment. I have been in quarantine for 14 days and I stumbled upon your videos looking for advice on finances, and life overall. I spent the last 10 months adjusting to a new unit in the military on top of being deployed overseas. ON TOP of being in a very toxic relationship. Everything piled up and I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety. However, your advice has really given me a lot of reasons to look forward to my future. First of all, I love Patricia. I swear she’s my friend in my head. I love the fact that she’s willing to discuss the things that are so taboo in an open and safe space. I especially love the fact that she loves talking about money. As a woman of color, I think these are important issues to discuss because the more you know the more you can gain/achieve. There are a lot of things that people who’ve come from “old money” families know that people from lower socioeconomic status families don’t. She’s laying it all out and I’m so here for it. 💖👏🏾

I’m not an inspiring model but there was a time years back when I tried to make a few coins by pausing and I think having Leomie on here was very informational and resourceful especially for young women trying to break in the industry.
