This podcast is the wholesome cousin to Venture Bros. and the more adult cousin to Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated. A perfect middle ground that has me saying the grass (or garden of native plants) is greener on this side.

Almost as soon as I found out about this show it became my new favorite podcast. Skeletor is, no question, one of the four horseman of the 80’s cartoon apocalypse ( riding alongside Cobra Commander, The Shredder and Megatron), and listening to his over the top, ultra maniacal super villain personality dispensing gardening advice while trying to deal with a new media format he clearly doesn’t understand is simply delightful. Garden Plots is meant to be entertaining first and foremost, but you will actually learn some important information on plants and gardening as well. I love this show so much that half of my plants’ names are lifted from Skeletor’s Top 10 Names For Your Plant. This is nostalgic infotainment at its finest. Huzzah for Skeletor!

I've been wanting to write a positive review of this show for a while now (especially since Episode #18 nearly killed me when I choked on spit while laughing too hard) but I just kept feeling like there was something missing. Just one little thing this show needed, but didn't have. Then, in Episode #22, I realized what it was. The show needed more ME. And now it has that, which means it's basically perfect. You're welcome.

Don’t know much about plants but I know an awesome podcast when I hear it and this one is amazing!
