The host and guests on the Y Religion podcast are the best the church and world has to offer as far as gospel scholars and examples of Christlike men and women. Their perspectives help so much me in my personal journey to understand the gospel, and in growing closer to the Lord. I hate to single out any of them because they are all so great, but I especially love brotherSweat, Wilcox, Hilton, and Haws. You can feel their love for the Savior, his gospel, and his people in these podcasts. Thanks so much for the time spend on these! If you listen I promise you will learn.

Thanks to the podcast Follow Him, I started listening to this podcast. I’m Thrilled about the format, the hosts and guests, and especially the content. I never got to go to BYU, but 5 of my 6 children have attended BYU schools. I appreciate especially hearing how people became associated with the school. Those stories also have been enjoyable and edifying! I’m a fan!

I really enjoy that there are multiple interviewers that rotate each show. The guests are all very intelligent and don’t pander. The only minor suggestion I have is the mini-commercial promoting the show in the middle of the podcast, which I find unnecessary.

This has become my new go to for faith based scholarly insight. Been looking for something like this since Blair Hodges left the Maxwell Institute.

I’m a relatively new listener but I have loved dovetailing these podcasts into my scripture study. I love the wide range of topics and the bright, enthusiastic minds who give me enough education to fuel my curiosity without flooding me with too many facts. I also really love the production quality. The sound is crisp and clear and the three-section format brings more heart into every conversation. As a busy mom of six, I don’t have a lot of options for going to symposiums or educational events. This podcast helps me find the inspiration I need, right when I need it. Thanks for all you do!

I love hearing what all these individuals are working on, so many diverse subjects. I can’t be at school but I am still getting an education! It does my heart good to hear how study and research only strengthen one’s testimony. I generally go the the gym most mornings, and although it’s typical to jam to music that energizes you, I prefer to feed the things of my soul with the depth and insights of Y Religion. Thank you for providing such a wonderful podcast!

I think this is a good resource, I will change my review to 5 stars if they ever add a video to these podcasts. I think that’s why the JRE podcast is so big, because people can take video clips and share them on social media. Other than that I have no complaints.

Normally I don’t see a point to listening to religious podcasts not produced directly by The Church of Jesus Christ. Why listen when we have the scriptures and conference talks going back for decades to listen to? This changed that for me. It is evident these professors have living testimonies of the Savior and His Church and they provide context and insights consistent with the scriptures and words of the living prophets that enhances and supplements the study of those sources. The content is relevant and current.

I am surprised that I only recently discovered this podcast, so I want to help get the word out! Very well done. They strike a nice balance between discussing topics that require some intelligence and nuance while making it thoroughly accessible to the average well informed Latter Day Saint. The hosts are engaging and well prepared with thoughtful questions. The guests are clearly passionate about their work and about the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Y Religion offers easy to understand yet intellectually engaging spiritual insights into a variety of topics! I recommend Y Religion to anyone and everyone looking to increase their spirituality, and even learn a little about other religions too
