If you were a fan of Extreme Championship Wrestling then you’ll want to hear what exactly lives inside The Mind of ECW original The Blue Meanie! This is definitely a staple of my weekly listening cycle! Everything from wrestling, music, sports and even favorite local cuisines…listen and laugh along with Meanie and Adam as they guide the way through The Mind of the Meanie!

A fantastic banter between Meanie and Adam makes for an interesting and entertaining discussion every week. The stories vary from funny to serious but are always engaging and full of insight. Solid podcast. You’ll be hooked by the end of the first episode you hear.

One of the few wrestling centric podcasts that makes you feel like you’re sitting under the learning tree of a respected veteran. Also the non wrestling conversations are fun and it feels like sitting at the bar listening to good friends hanging out.

Entertaining as $&#% ! Show rules….everyone should listen.

On Broken Skull Podcast, Steve Austin will take a sip of beer in honor of “the working man.” On the Mind of Meanie, we get to listen to a working man tell stories. And it’s easier to relate to him. Meanie comes from a different angle than the hosts we’re used to. He’s not looking at the industry from the top of the card. Meanie tells us what it’s like to be cut from a roster (and to be added to one) at a moment’s notice. And he really helps the audience feel the weight of each scenario, and understand how he felt in the moment. Thank you, Meanie, for every bump. Go Birds! 🦅

The Host have insite into the business, and feel no need to audition for Mchahon. Not being sold a mortgage every five seconds also a plus

This show was great in the beginning when it was more focused on The Blue Meanie. Currently, the show should be renamed the mind of Josh Shernoff with Meanie whenever he can get a word in. I’d love to hear more about the Meanie and ALOT less of Josh, especially about his friends from high school that nobody knows nor cares for. I LOVE the Blue Meanie and this show would be incredible if hosted by Casio Kid.

Fantastic podcast of two cohost that are great friends and it shows with the conversations they have . This is much more then just a wrestling podcast but a great look at where they are personally and professionally each week.

Full of amazing laughs and wits through and through really great

I’ve been a listener of Mind of the Meanie. Recently, my friends and I went on a road trip and we binge listened to the show on the 5 hour drive. Made it even more fun. 5 stars!

The Meanie and Josh bring the entertainment, touching on a wide range of topics, wrestling and otherwise. Unlike some of the other pods out there, you can tell they are actually friends outside of the pod and you’re just getting an opportunity to listen to a conversation between 2 friends rather a contrived interview. Highly recommended.

I’ve met Blue Meanie at Wrestlecade and he is one of the most approachable people. I think he spoke to me before I got to his table complimenting my vaudevillian’s shirt. Mrs. Meanie was with him and all but grabbed me and hugged me when meeting her! She is awesome. Then the podcast came out and he references some of my favorite things... Howard Stern Show and Trailer Park Boys. That’s when I was like “blue meanie is like me if I actually lived the dream of being in the wrestling business. Thanks for the amazing podcast. I drive quite a bit for work but I’m never alone. It’s like riding with 2 friends talking about who the hell knows what.

Meanie and Shernoff are so good at what they do. I subscribe to 4 or 5 different weekly podcasts and have listened to several more, and I would put this show up against any of them. The Blue Meanie has always been a fun character that has been cherished by wrestling fans everywhere, and now to hear his insight and stories makes him all the more amazing. This show is well-done, interesting, hilarious, and a fun distraction from everything else going on right now.

Thank you Meanie and Josh! Really enjoy the podcast. I don’t think the podcast is too long. I like the nuggets of conversation of different topics. Really makes commuting to and from work enjoyable. This made it to my weekly podcast rotation! Would love to hear Meanie and Josh do a watch along of the Yellow Submarine!!

So I met Meanie at Cauliflower Alley last year, and we’ve started chatting here and there. Always been a huge fan of his work in ECW, so I gave this podcast a listen and I’m hooked. Episode 4 is a masterpiece especially, even if you aren’t a pro wrestling fan, as it humanizes Meanie as a person with his stories of his releases from the WWF and his grandmother passing away and everything in between. This is definitely one podcast, especially in a deluded world where so many people have them, that I will support and continue to listen to every week

I like the podcast but it’s way to long close to 3 hrs a week.

I've been hooked on this podcast since Episode 1- it's great to hear (and hopefully someday see on video somewhere) the Blue Meanie point of view in various topics- "other side" point of view to my original ECW memories, current wrestling events, even coffee breaks. Josh Shernoff is Meanie's perfect conversation partner and also has some great info to share- like the time Sandman pulled his strikes on a cane attack. Every episode is casual and fun, and I look forward to each new weekly episode. Check it out, and thank me later!

Have listened to all 4 episodes so far. Great stuff! Any ECW stories, etc is my wheelhouse. Have met Meanie before and a SUPER nice guy that you can also tell is genuine on the podcast and is always himself. Taking me back a bit with some of my treks to South Philly in those days, also is on top of today’s product as well. A nice vibe here, like that it’s mostly wrestling talk.

Love “The Blue Guy”. He’s entertaining as all hell. Glad I found his podcast

As a friend of Meanie, I have known him for many years and have heard plenty of different stories. But listening to this podcast was so interesting! I felt a little star struck at first cause I’m like hey! I know this guy! Hahah. Hearing this conversation was so cool and all of the details were so interesting. Very interested to see how high this podcast can climb. I’ve been a fan of Josh Shernoff’s since his time on ‘The Apter Chat,’ and Meanie (based on his years of experience in multiple companies) obviously has thousands of great stories to share.

Let me start by saying Meanie’s voice fills a void in pro-wrestling podcasts by covering more of his interests than just wrestling. That being said, He’s been around a few promotions and I’m looking forward to the stories he has to tell. The first episode is what I was hoping it would be: Fun and conversational. Give it a listen!

Just listened whilst working away here and very enjoyable. Perfect for a Monday morning, the mellow, dulcet tones of Meanie and I like his co host, good dynamic. Always good to listen to someone who’s been at the top of the business and wrestled in massive ppv’s and events and in a world full of podcasts well worth a subscription. Looking forward to his thoughts on the the Eagles season this year.
