DashingRooAlmost Perfect!I just started listening to this podcast, and was super excited to see a 2-parter with Jay Jack, who’s my favorite trainer. It’s a great listen and these guys are super informative and passionate, but that passion sometimes turns into them talking over and interrupting the guest. It makes it difficult to really get into the flow of listening because there’s so much overlapping talking. That’s really my only criticism so far. Everything else is great, but please respect your guests and let them share their experience.

patrrod1Great podcast!I am new to the podcast and enjoy listening to all of the guest trainers. It keeps me motivated to work with my dogs to continue to see progress. I would love if you had Stephanie Vichinsky from MethodK9 as a guest.
-
spiderkelleyevGreat show - let’s get an episode on genetics! The guys are open to speaking about all types of training and have great guests. I don’t agree with everything, but that’s the point of listening and getting all different views. Also, Temple Grandin is a national treasure. One of my favorite episodes so far!

meowlaraLife changingI never liked podcasts until recently and this one is a huge reason why. I feel like I’m sitting there with them and learning so much and feel like I know Brent and Mariano. So thank you. -Lara

natsutsutMy new podcast binge ! A must listen to for any dog trainer!Truly enjoyed listening to your podcast as a learning and entertaining platform! And the podcasts are so cool and the hosts so relatable that I actually fell compelled to reach out and got to meet and shadow Brent (brilliant trainer and the coolest person) Not only do I listen to some of the podcasts several times but I also take notes. Thank you Brent and Mariano for your hard work on putting up the best, most relevant content in those podcasts

2dismyfavamendmentLatest episode is a gemNot to take anything away from the others but Episode 16 of season 2 on behavioral euthanasia is your best episode to date. Not normally a fan of 2+ hour episodes but this one flew by. So many takeaways and things to discuss and dissect that I hope it spawns more discussion on tough issues. I know you’re involved in rescue, as am I, but I think it’s time to start having those tough conversations on how “adopt don’t shop” is contributing more to the problem than people think. Rescues need to be more responsible about the placement of dogs and this episode highlights and explains why.

Carolyn KSGreat potentialOverall love the concept & potential of the show. But please let your guests talk. Hosts talk too much. Sorry, but I truly believe your podcast will improve if you ask more questions and then listen to what your guests have to share… that’s why you have them on after all. 🤍🐕

wifeylooVery informativeIt’s my first time listening to this podcast and I started with the episode about building your own business. The points mentioned here were all amazing, and the tips they shared are absolutely valuable in many types of businesses. I loved what they said about their staff and employees and how to manage people well and make them like you and respect you. No wonder their teams are prospering because these guys definitely know a thing or two about great leadership! Keep it up.

yayaturoloBest Free Content Out ThereBrent and Mariano along with their guests deliver the best free content regarding dog training. The information they provide helps me with my clients and my dog each and every day. I can’t stop listening!

A Walk In The Park BKCan listen to these guys for hours!I am so glad my mentor recommended this podcast! I walk dogs from 9-5 everyday and instead of listening to music, I now listen to The Dog Trainer’s Podcast! I love that I get to put some things they say right into action as I am working and walking with my clients and my own dogs. I also send the episodes to friends, family and clients. I also love hearing other trainers. Thank you guys for creating this podcast!

Lobo MichaelLove the show!Just found the show and it’s awesome! If you’re a dog trainer or are wanting to become a dog trainer these two are laying it out there!
-
collar&crateGreat for new trainers!I keep hearing that all these dog trainers don't mind mentoring, which is amazing! (P.S. if you know someone willing to mentor in southern Wisconsin, that'd be great!) Living in a rural community I've recently started doing obedience classes. Our first session began in August. I have 10 people in it (all I would take). And now I have a waitlist of 15 people. The need for dog training in our area is insane. I've gathered a lot of information over the years (from doing personal training for my dog), but this is so valuable. Thank you for creating this podcast!

KodiaksgoldenlifeGrateful for the Perspectives! This podcast has been a life-changer for me. I am a dog trainer in my heart, though I only train my personal dog. I love learning about dog training lifestyles, journeys, and advice. I have listened to every single episode and have learned something new in each one. Mariano and Brent are both very well-spoken. They genuinely listen to their guests and craft thoughtful, open-ended questions which get the interviewee talking and feeling comfortable. You can hear the love they have for their careers. Another thing I appreciate is how they don’t shut down training theories, but rather, they welcome new ideas. They try to bring different perspectives together and they HAVE FUN doing it! I wish that the podcast would post a “clean” version of the interviews because I do feel that the coarse language is unnecessary. I understand that trainers feel more comfortable being themselves and therefore, my drop some language. However, if the hosts would clean up their language, it would be more more appropriate. Thanks, guys! Keep up the good work. If you had a Patreon, I’d love to send a donation!

K918 Dog TrainingLOVE!I love listening to this show!!!! As a newer dog trainer I learn a lot from the Brent & Mariano as well as the people they interview who have been in the industry for years. I also catch bits of information that I already knew which is very reassuring for me, & tells me I’m definitely on the right path
