Deep MelodiesThe focal fryIt’s like listening to two stoned valley girls that constantly say “yeahhh” every few seconds. I counted 19 times within 2 minutes. They’re gorgeous and I love their topics, but I can’t take the vocal fry anymore, it’s so bad.
-
jbjensen28Entertaining but a bit ignorantI love the podcast and I even subscribe however, I tend to cringe when your lack of perspective shows. You really ought to do a little bit more rounding out. Your audience isn’t just 20 something liberals. 😘
-
Gen_X_RImmatureI keep trying to listen to this podcast for the content, but the constant vocal frye and uptalk is a major obstacle. I do believe the hosts are credible, creative, and insightful, but it feels like I’m listening to two high school girls who are trying to sound trendy and cool. Peace out.

EdiedorieLaugh out loud!Came originally for Kate, reconnected for Blake, lingered for Meghan, and now am just overall obsessed. Just looked up “podcasts like Popapologists” on ChatGPT because I want more, but no one compares! You are so witty and funny. Loved the bachelorette episode, the April Fools stories, all the everyday banter about your own lives. I don’t even know some of the celebs you talk about (41f/seattle) and it’s still interesting. Thank you for the laughs. You asked what you could do for more value and more revenue. A daily 20 min random conversation about literally anything. Those are my favorite. ❤️ THANK YOU!

CharlieMia123I can’t believe we’re back to CandaceLadies. At this point there’s no way you don’t know who Candace Owens is. This is disgusting.
-
MD1125Great FindWell, well, well. You ladies finally convinced me to leave you a review. So here I am, confessing my love for your hilarious, witty take on the absurdity, enchantment, and psychological appeal of pop culture. I am here for it.

ahdkfocnsosofjbdFavorite podcast of all timeMakes me wish I had a sister! Only wish episodes were posted more consistently time wise

kmehawkeyeEndearing pairJust finished the subscribers only “tea” episode. I’m about to turn 46 and this adorable conversation reminded me so much of different stages. I’ve experienced in my personal life and marriage. Just wanted to say that I think it’s awesome that you are sharing common topics that can seem taboo with your elites. So proud in a weird big sister way of how you ladies continue to evolve as strong, independent *and* vulnerable women. I enjoy hearing and giggling through your fun stories!

Bogey B 1Stick to the Pop Culture- Leave the Lifestyle BehindThese two offer some of the sharpest and most entertaining pop culture commentary out there. They could have a permanent place at the top of the charts. Unfortunately, they won’t get out of their own way and can’t help but make 90% of the pod about their personal lives and attempts at lifestyle advice, which is not enviable. There’s no shortage of genuine lifestyle influencers with impeccable taste-so it feels unnecessary to hear about their fashion picks that resemble something from a Charlotte Russe. It would be great if they focused on what they do best: insightful and engaging pop culture deep dives, rather than veering into family dynamics and lifestyle content. I unsubscribed from their patreon as of late. Hope to go back when they go back to their core.

NightriderCatRacist - Mormon - Maga - ClassistPlease avoid this show. The worst version of Behind the Blinds ever produced. Momon, Racist, Maga, & Classist, worst of all feminist, I wish you well, I wish you would do the same for the rest of us. You truly are ‘Bad Girls - with cruel Handmaid’s Tale coding that makes me quite sick. The dizzying effect of twin voices sharing the same opinion and wiring is the epitome of Echo Chamber. Worst office, Gwenith apologists. Grow up.

H.R.H.M.S.Surprisingly Glam BlondesThese ladies keep me entertained and educated on the goss I don’t have the time to keep up with myself. They are quickwitted and not afraid to laugh at themselves. I find them so relatable as fellow intelligent humans invested in pop culture. I’ve never left a podcast review before, but I feel like these ladies are friends and I want my pretend friends to succeed! Give them a listen and subscribe!
-
Vegan coquetteGorgeous and erudite blondes commenting on all of my favorite topicsThe algorithm presented me with these two highly beautiful young women who appear magically interested in all of my same pop culture topics to include high brow housewives shows, what a discovery! I have been on a binge, highly recommended on youtube to check out the fashions… merci les filles.

Britt draperI love listeningSo glad I found this podcast! Love listening to them. Fun!

jjoko504A Must-Listen for Pop Culture LoversLove the communication style of these two - witty, engaging, and effortlessly fun. Their dynamic is absolutely intoxicating.
-
NaomiBurtonLoveWe must make sure Meghan's show is a success so she has income coming in. Do not want her to feel desperate that she writes a race-baiting hiss-n-tell book. Move on girl and respect they made you internationally famous. Ps why didn't she tell Mindy her posh hyphenated middle name? Meghan Duchess-of Sussex

125 First AvenueIf Clueless & Classless had a babyOh wow, Pop Apologists, what a bold marketing strategy—nothing like dropping an F-bomb and a casual “Jesus” in the very first sentence of your Spotify ad. I was just cruising down the road, minding my own business, when suddenly my car became an impromptu ethics seminar. Do I swerve into oncoming traffic? Do I pull over and baptize my radio? Decisions, decisions. Now, I get it—edgy is in. But this wasn’t witty, ironic, or even remotely clever. It was just… lazy. Like, if I wanted to hear someone string together random expletives with zero context, I’d just FaceTime my uncle after he loses at fantasy football. The real kicker? Courtney Grow markets herself as the queen of all things tasteful online. If this ad was meant to be a sample of that “taste,” then I’m terrified to know what got left on the cutting room floor. Anyway, if you enjoy pop culture podcasts that don’t immediately assault your eardrums with unnecessary profanity, I’d recommend literally anything else.

absolutely what????Taylor Lorenz???????Taylor is scum of the earth. Cannot believe she is on this pod. Hard pass!!!!

Victoria$6578Love it!My favorite podcast by far! Such a fun podcast.
-
Kcat5436I ran out of old free episodes so I had to subscribe for more!I have a very long drive to and from work and began listening to Pop Apologists on my drive. I then started listening to old episodes as I went through them. I’ve now probably listened to all of them so I needed to subscribe for more. Love their take on all things pop culture. Appreciate their intellectual take. I staunchly believe that understanding pop culture and reality tv informs people on navigating social situations in life. Reality tv is my life! Also bring back more John Bledsoe! And more Deb!
-
PleasantRowlandFun, but a lots of factual inaccuraciesI listened to a few episodes of this after hearing the hosts on Be There in Five. I love a deep dive on celebrity culture, but the episode on JFK Jr had so many inaccuracies for facts. A big one being the that Michael Berman and Michael Bergin are not the same person.
-
lotrbbYou’ve changed.Majority of their episodes are on the Patreon now, wouldn’t really mind except they didn’t start out that way. They are putting 1/5 eps on Apple and the rest on Patreon. Should be the other way around and I’d probably subscribe if it was. Used to be a hardcore listener. Now I can barely find an ep. I just want to listen to you guys! 😭😭😭

Atsk1995It’s just not itTrying to say this nicely… I loved your podcast since long before Kate Middleton, but it is really hard to hear you mention you are apolitical… it’s just not what I am looking for right now. I don’t need a show that constantly mentions politics, but going out of your way to say you are apolitical feels like you are making a statement and it feels very unappealing. If your target audience is educated women with disposable income, I think it would be worth reevaluating that stance. I was happy to hear Kate Kennedy on your podcast, again trying to say this kindly, but I’m going to switch to listening to her podcast. I’ve got to support people who openly have their hearts in a place that I align with.
-
LeiAkaLove these girlsI love your podcast- your Kate Kennedy episode was my least favorite ever. She has a very unusual, close minded, stance with maybe too much emphasis on her own experience. Just because she feels a certain way doesn’t mean that’s how others experience the same thing. Very disappointing.

bone4798Loser on Loser CrimeWeird podcast. Grifter hosts who support trump. Will not be listening.
-
Michele319FUN!I am so glad I found Pop Apologists! I’ve been listening since the Kate Middleton drama and do not regret it! I’m not a Demi fan, but I absolutely loved the profile you all did in her! Please do Britney Spears! Big fan of the JB/BL/RR drama too!
-
Hottake4596Stop being greedy and let everyone listen to ALLL episodesI really enjoy this podcast but they only release the GOOD episodes on their $9.99 A MONTH premium subscription. I wish they would just get more sponsorship so we could ALLLLL listen to episodes. Hope they change this soon. And it also is a little annoying seeing how much they spend on fashion/travel/etc when the general public is supposed to shell out $10 a month for a normal podcast. Kinda sick and disappointing. It’s a shame bc they are really funny and I enjoy the pod. Can’t afford it though 😕

Sandy!Entitled NarcissistsWhere does one begin? First of Candace Owen and alt right supporters. Your privilege is showing. Seriously? We are in a critical time in this day and age where fascism is rising. Stop supporting her!!! Second all of these woman took the time to BLOCK a lot of woman based off a fake Reddit story. And guess what they did it during chandlers bachelorette party. They failed to mention that during their podcasts. And to top it off they shared their list with their other narcissistic Instagram friends… you know the ones Courtney likes to travel to Mexico with and others. Please don’t waste your time with these privileged, out of touch woman.

Ashley2047Loyal ListenerI love this pod, doesn’t mean I have to agree with everything they say. It’s definitely my guilty pleasure. Looove.
-
Katiemarie56Love!Loved the last episode, and all of the ones prior! Thanks for making chores and errands more fun!
-
MissCatleahStarted following during Princess Gate 👑Well, well, well. Tbh, started listening bc I needed something to take my mind off the 3 surgeries & treatment for cancer. I gleefully followed the rapid-fire reels… then stuff went down, IYKYK. I kept listening, bc I find these women delightful in all the ways entertainment news should be. I think Roger Ebert was the one who said something like, not every movie is going to be a cinematic masterpiece they can be “great for what they are”. We can emphasize the value of this pod for entertainment and unique qualities, how wonderfully engaging it is for the audience! A stodgy way to say: I love these girls yappin’ and will not apologize for it. 🤭 If you’re wondering, joining Global Elites is worth it.
-
MissQVegasEntertaining But Not Worth $$$Recently found this pod for the Lively Baldoni legal drama. Paid the subscription for extra content but quickly realized they don’t offer anything you can’t find elsewhere for free, and frankly paying to listen to someone talk about her bachelorette trip like that’s extra value is the epitome of narcissism. I do enjoy some of their takes/coverage of current culture news but absolutely not worth paying for the “elite” content - it’s anything but that.
-
mickey710Doxing and blocking? Was randomly blocked by this podcast on instagram as well as by all of Lauren and Chanler’s sisters after being a longtime listener and supporter of their pages. Google search shows that their oldest sister Ashley provided them with a block list after doxing people on Reddit? Nonsensical business model and bad form. Won’t be listening again.
-
PeanutforlifeLoyal Popapologist EliteI enjoy this podcast so much! I look forward to new episodes each week. I find that the elite subscription is worth every penny. I appreciate their vocabularies and that they discuss a significant range of pop-culture topics with intelligence and thoroughness. My only grievance is that new episodes often drop later in the day. I wish that they would auto-drop at midnight like many other podcasts. I start work early and would love to listen to new episodes while driving to work. I have auditory sensory issues so there are a lot of podcasts that my nervous system just can’t tolerate, but these two well-spoken babes are always a joy for me to listen to. Lauren and Chanler, I appreciate your insights, relationship and personalities so much.
-
Jean LindsayBiased and dumbThese women do not know the meaning of the word “alleges.” They literally read the Justin Baldoni lawsuit as if it is fact. So so dumb! They are probably paid by Justin Baldoni’s PR firm to spew falsehoods to convince women everywhere that he is innocent.
-
cwt0374738A+This is everything I want in a pop culture podcast. Adore Lauren and Chan!!

Julie KovachJustin versus Blake pt 4Justin did nothing wrong from evidence thus far. If Blake felt uncomfortable by Justin’s behavior (which was not inappropriate) that is on Blake! It is not Justin‘s responsibility to change himself to pacify Blake. If she has boundaries, those are for herself. Boundaries are for oneself, not other people. If her expectation is for Justin to change who he is to pacify her then that only makes her a narcissist. If she felt uncomfortable, that is for her to deal with within herself. No, we cannot say if she did or did not feel uncomfortable, but we can point out that it is not Justin‘s fault. If she truly did feel uncomfortable like she is saying she did then she is just using it now to play the victim and manipulate the situation to get something out of it. If she truly felt uncomfortable, then she should seek therapy and try to get to the root of why she felt uncomfortable when he truly did not do anything from a malice place or a place of ill intent. I’m not going to say Team Blake just because she’s a woman with feelings. This is a situation of two human beings with feelings. Therefore, we go to the evidence and throw out the window woman versus man.

AwinlalalandLove this pod!I love to this duo telling us what’s new in the world of celebrities. They are easy to listen to, relatable and funny. Absolutely love it!
-
Merimerimerimeri123QueensI love these absolutely entitled & out of touch but very very fun girlies
-
malynagaloreProudly eliteThis was such a gem of a discovery. I’m endlessly entertained by Lauren and Chan — funny, smart, insightful. I’m going through much of the back catalog now. One tiny thing: Lauren’s microphone set up sometimes makes all her plosives audible. Hopefully an easy fix to improve an otherwise delightful listening experience.
-
Not Quality 2.0My Favorite Sister DuoI found Lauren & Chandler from the Kate Middleton case & have been a follower ever since! I put this one when I want to forget the chaos of the world & just listen to something carefree & fun. The energy Lauren & Chandler create is together is something special. I even listen to some episode of the talking about people I have no idea who they are because I just love listening to them so much! Thank you ladies for adding fun & laughter into my life daily. 🤍
-
ladyswampwitchgivsneaufuxGreat Pop Culture PodcastIf you love sharp, hilarious takes on pop culture, Pop Apologists is a wonderful podcast. Lauren and Chan’s banter makes every episode feel like a fun chat with friends. Whether it’s celebrity drama or reality TV, they break it down with wit and honesty. Highly recommend!
-
buzz•buzzObsessedThis is such a great pod. Fun, informative and well done!
-
starfish74So good.Just discovered these two on Kaitlyn Bristowes podcast. Kaitlyn could learn something if she actually read the lawsuit and listened to these two women. Excellent coverage and I always love when people switch teams because the truth prevails. Ps- I too agree that Blakes only tiny kernel of hope is to cry “postpartum” and just publically breakdown and beg for forgiveness. Predictions- Blake’s marriage doesn’t survive this, and neither does her friendship with Taylor Swift. lol what a psychopath.
-
jenna_77Worst PodcastYou girls talk WAY too fast! Thankfully I have a college education and can keep up, but part of me wishes I didn’t because what you both said is horrible, one sided and couldn’t even listen to it all. Immature in the way you both talk. Complete waste of time! Oh, then you charge to listen to certain episodes…get over yourselves!
-
NoTimeMommaThe best! These sisters truly get me through my week. They are so authentic, light and, fun, and the only podcast I have never hesitated to go premium for! Keep being you!
-
Lou Lu 27Great duo!💞My new favorite podcast!
-
ChelsihoneycuttContent and ConnectionIt’s the content AND the connection these sisters build with the audience that keeps me listening! I’ve gone back to the beginning over the last year and I enjoy the banter and personal updates as much as I enjoy the celebrity content - never quit, I don’t know what I would do!
