SunshineListener16Please do an episode on It Takes Two!It makes my week when I see new episodes of this show on my feed! Ashley has a great way of covering topics with both humor and humanity. Even though I listen to a lot of “true crime” podcasts, Ashley covers a lot of content I haven’t heard of before, and leads me down new rabbit holes, such as the Mckamey Manor series. Thank you Ashley for your dedication, realness, and advocacy!

companion gardenerErin Riley episodeI’ve enjoyed many episodes but this one is bad. She married someone who she determines was a narcissist. I missed her credentials to diagnose. Regardless, the guest then goes on to lump autistics, psychopaths, sociopaths (not a thing), and “others with mental health issues” as being trauma related. While trauma creates an extra layer of struggles for people who are born with atypical neurological development, it is not the cause. I’m sorry this lady married a narcissist (maybe). I congratulate her on her book. That said, better vetting of guests and/or a better ability to keep guests on topic would be a benefit for the show and a better listening experience for fans.

cclbtcWhere is Ep 1 of accessible health care?Where is Ep 1 of accessible health care? I remember seeing it, now I only see Ep 2..love the podcast!
-
stopxmotionToo much singingI've listened to new and older episodes with different hosts, and all of them break out into song randomly and it sounds like drunken karaoke since no one has a good singing voice. The stories are interesting.

julsomahaEnjoyable Silly, yet informative and good researchI enjoy this podcast-it brings lightheartedness and jokes along with cults and crimes-my favorite subjects. The episodes about Ash learning the Bible are cracking me up! It is so entertaining to hear the perspective of a normal person who grew up without church exposure. Keep up the fun and stories-and if you ever need an equally obsessed cult cohost-give this old mama a shout-I am a vault of cult information. Good job being drunk on life Ash! Mama juju is proud!

!WouldntYouLikeToKnow!I triedHorrible, meandering story telling; lazy research, grating voices
-
Morbid Fan xoxoLove This PodcastI have sent this podcast to so many friends and I am realizing leaving a review is long overdue! The hosts are great - smart, insightful, funny. They strike a good balance between dark humor and respect for the seriousness of the stories they cover.
-
ViqidisObsessedYou need to listen to this pod! It will, very quickly, become your favorite!

Jesse_Clark4Miles Ahead of the Rest!TSFU is a MUCH needed break from the dark/predatory true crime podcasts we are all bombarded with today. Instead of following that same, murky business model, Ash and her pals bring the facts in a way that educates without exploiting. They balance the seriousness of the topics with their own banter to keep things entertaining and light for you while you learn. They give frequent trigger warnings, regularly assess their own biases, and often refuse to give unnecessary salacious details out of respect for the victims and their families. To me, this puts then miles ahead of the rest as they push the boundaries of what we’re sold true crime content “must” be. I can’t recommend this podcast enough! Thank you for being a form of content that lets me learn about the things I find interesting while still allowing me to sleep at night!

Sgoodman452!!!!!Great showThey truly talk about things that are really F’d up. Have enjoyed every episode that’s available, and yes I have listened to everyone of them. Some of the topics they talk about I felt like I knew a lot already. But they do find a way to tell me something that I didn’t know. Love the show and keep up the good work

ScubamartinUpdated review- TSFU still rocksI’ve been listening to this show for a few years now and I have to say it’s only gotten better over that time. Ash’s mix of co-hosts and off the wall topics makes for an entertaining and educational ride. Solid research and dark humor continue to make this my top podcast.

Celfaith412I have never bothered to write a podcast review until nowI’ve never heard such blatant disrespect towards victims, mental disorders, and religion. I couldn’t get through my first episode because of the constant crude jokes towards the victims religion. A religion which I don’t even believe in, but it was so upsetting to have to listen to them sidetrack a case to talk about their crass opinions and make jokes about something so sensitive. I don’t use Apple Podcasts, I use the other podcast app, and I took the time to download this app and write a review because of how disgraceful I found this podcast.

Maxwellz <3Good podcastI love true crime, and I’m glad I found a podcast that isn’t controversial

jenna XOI’ve not reviewed a podcast ever before., BUT……I finally had to say something! I love this podcast, Ashley, and all her guest hosts and co-hosts (Shontae being the latest great find! - but I’ve loved them all!). Ashley is a great person who scouts out worthy topics and wonderful people, and it’s a privilege to listen to her and everyone and everything they cover! This truly is ethical true crime - and ethical general TSFU’d-ness - at its best, and the perfect blend of seriousness plus lightness. This sounds so cheesy, but it’s like having those great girlfriends you never had and it’s such an antidote to loneliness and despair! I also work in the mental health field and I can say that Ashley has always demonstrated great understanding of trauma, but her insights have only increased over time and I really appreciate her knowledge and candor. This is the perfect listen for people who have a dark side, voluntarily or experientially or what have you, and so we cannot stomach Hallmark movies or other escapist luxuries, of the world, but we still need to be able to chill out and relax and connect with others and foster some hope!
-
rodcast700So F-in GoodLove that I can just embrace my fascination with all things f-d up with these two funny and insightful ladies. Keep it up.

nasumik14Perf!Love this podcast! It delves into the most obscure and messed-up stories – cults, murders, etc. Highly recommended for those who appreciate a well-researched dive into the bizarre side of history with the right dose of humor.
-
ShelP75Love this podcast!Just like sitting with your bestie chatting about all the disturbing things that keep you up at night and still being able to laugh about this crazy thing called life!
-

4nogoodreasonIf you rated this 5-starsYou are seriously broken and need healing. Who hurt you, poisoned you that you could relate to this Host’s dark nature?
-
punchybuttMy kinda humorY’all I have finally found the podcast I’ve been looking for! I’m pretty selective about my TC podcast’s and there’s a few out there that share my dark, but respectful, sense of humor when it comes to all that is fckd up but I LOVE how unapologetically genuine these gals are! A perfect combo of true crime passion, dark humor, ranting, tangents, great storytelling & goofiness. One thing I really appreciate is that these two very seemingly “different” ladies balance each other out very well. 10/10 recommend. Love what you’re doing, guys.
-
Taterbug1580So good!I’ve been searching for a new true crime podcast recently and I stumbled upon TSFU. I absolutely love it and it’s my favorite thing to listen to during work :)
-
1TntGigiI love you AshleyYou are my girl!!! Let the haters be hating.
-
linzeeneekoleNothin’ but LOVE for TSFU🙌🏼I typically don’t leave reviews, buuut…I binged this pod entirely too hard…& wound up a Patron🤣 HIGHLY recommend! From the array of fascinating topics to the hilarious palate cleansers, I love it all! My twisted little heart skips a beat every time a story drops that I’ve never heard of before…which is surprisingly often! Ashley & Ali are very empathetic & deliver the heaviest of stories in a way that is easier to digest. Per a previous review, there is a difference between ‘hate’ & righteous anger. Is Ashley passionate about victims & their stories? Absolutely. But hateful? Not even a little. If you can’t bear to hear opinions that differ from your own, then this pod {or any pod for that matter} might not be for you. Keep up the great work ladies💗

Patti CupcakesMy Favorite Podcast!!Leaving a review because y’all deserve a few minutes of my time and I was unable to leave a review on my preferred listening app, Spotify! Anyway, I started listening to TSFU at the beginning of Spring, it took me several months of me binge listening to your episodes starting from episode 1 all the way to today, episode 158/BORB 17! I LOVE listening to y’all and I actually like how you guys run off topic to share your own opinions. If I wasn’t poor with helping my kid with getting through college and such, I’d be subscribing to Patreon, hopefully one day! For Know I’ll enjoy every free episode on Spotify, Keep it up ladie⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

McKristyI can’t get enoughI can't say enough good things about the podcast and Ash and Ali and all the special guest hosts. Their passion for their topics shines through in every episode, and their chemistry is undeniable. The way they effortlessly blend in-depth research with engaging delivery makes for a truly enjoyable listening experience. I'm constantly amazed by the depth of knowledge they bring to each subject, while keeping the content accessible and entertaining for all listeners. It's clear that a lot of thought and effort goes into every episode, victims are treated with respect, and their dedication to providing accurate and insightful information is truly commendable. Whether you're a fan of the genre they cover or not, Ash and Ali's podcast is a must-listen for anyone who appreciates informative, well-researched, and thoroughly entertaining content.
-
krshabalishaGreat stories!I am obsessed with this show. Ash and Ali are so awesome! There are years of awesome content to go back and listen to as well. The patreon is worth it for the bonus content alone but there are much more perks!
-
tlw202Obsessed!I’m a little late to finding this podcast but better late than never! Just the right amount of levity when it comes to dark topics, yet very educational and hilarious all at the same time! I feel like I have found my people lol If you like to learn about all things culty, hear about true crime, and other crazy, messed up topics, this is show needs to be in your podcast rotation for sure!!!
-
NikkiD1016My Go ToI love this podcast many reasons but the variety, quality, and way episodes are presented are some of the big ones! I’ve learned new things about cases I thought I knew and learned about subjects I had no idea about. There’s never a dull moment. Plus there’s a ton of content to listen to with minimal ads compared to some podcasts. The discord community is really fun and inviting too which is another bonus. I love you TSFU!!! 🥰🥰 you’re a real one ❤️
-
Jessiggx33So f* funny! This podcast is so funny! Yes, there’s a lot of banter but it’s hilarious and sometimes you just need a little humor in your life. There’s some opinions I don’t agree on but they’re funny and relatable!

-
ahb743Lacks quality researchGood format but the research is weak. Multiple mistakes in the Mormon fundamentalism episode.

Haysmom04Bless Your HeartFind another podcast that gives factual info & isn’t based on someone’s “feelings”. Ashley thinks every single thing is a cult (Christians, Conservatives, Stay at home moms, Private schools, & Texans probably too 🤣)! Basically, if you don’t agree with her, you must be in a cult. 🤔😳🙄
