yupyup:)Not. Good.First off, the lead actors are awful. Their acting is reminiscent of someone doing reading something rather than saying it; there is little emotion or engagement with the material. When the reporter does display any emotion, it’s either an inappropriate, giggly mocking tone that makes no sense or a weak faux outrage. Further, that same character supposedly lives in a U.S. town, but pronounces “sorry” like a Canadian and mispronounces “Nevada.” Additionally, there are continuity issues IN THE FIRST EPISODE. In one scene, a character doesn’t know the sheriff’s name or who he is, and then is pointing him out using his first name in the next. How did he know which person was the sheriff? Why so casual about someone he doesn’t know? The show might be interesting (wouldn’t know because I can’t even get through Ep. 2), but I wouldn’t waste your time. I can name at least ten podcasts with a similar spooky/mystery vibe that ARE enjoyable.

ohwellthatswhatyougetWellllll....The voice acting is so bad. I can normally withstand it for a good story but the plot is subpar at best. Just listen to Limetown. It’s the same thing but better.

Maynard RegisFantasticIs this really it? Writers are great and the cast nails it. There is a real optimism within Christina Glass. If that’s the end...many will be left wanting more. I enjoyed the ride so far! Thanks for giving enjoyable entertainment to this essential worked on a few long rides.

Sismo52Main character is HorribleThe story could of been good. Fell apart really quick. Ending is bad and the main character shouldn’t speak. She just horrible actor and boring.

DreamistFascinating premise, poor pacing and voice actingI really want to like this podcast, it has limetown vibes and the mystery as initially presented is fascinating. But the podcast is plagued with poor pacing and reveals that don’t really feel significant. Additionally, the main character is frustratingly monotone regardless of context and doesn’t react at all to big reveals.

Michayla18Very strong startSaw this advertised on Reddit and decided to give it a listen since I LOVE the investigative mockumentary genre of podcast, and there aren’t that many. Great production quality, and the so far the universe seems mysterious but very believable as far as a character motivation, dialogue, etc (a perfect peeve of mine that the investigative mockumentary genre sometimes misses, pulling the listener out of the story). I think the first episode set up the premise of the show really well— a slow boil that explodes into genuine suspense by the end of just the first episode. Looking forward to more.
