The first episode Crossing Guard is deeply beautiful. One of my favorite podcast episodes ever.

The story lines are thought provoking and told in a compelling way with a pleasant pace that is not too slow and not too fast. I love feeling the humanity of the featured guests and story arcs.

I listen to podcasts almost every day. All kinds of them. About news, music, science, self help….and I’ve never written a podcast review. This is my first. I have been listening to the Nightwalker season all day as I build my tiny house in the woods. Last night - over beers with friends - I was recommended this podcast & what an absolute gift it had been. The deep thought, the honesty, so grounded & real. I feel like I know everyone in this podcast. Multiple times while listening, I stopped hammering, to listen more carefully. Sometimes I would tear up. Once I even stopped all movement & put my hand on my heart, I was so - well - moved! On the inside! Bravo to Bianca and all the beautiful sweet souls who made this podcast come to life. I will never forget Terry howling or the costume designer from Trinidad & Tobago talking about his love Noel. And how he said this was the longest conversant he’d had with someone in years. Thank you for this. I’m off to be night Walker & to figure out how to get you more money so you keep creating!! ❤️✨

I am about to move back home, cross country, from the south to the northeast . I found this podcast from Rumble Strip and somehow, it’s meandering is perfect. It makes me think and wonder how my new life will be. I also love walking. Thanks!!!!

Sigh. This podcast is one of the best podcasts I’ve ever heard. It’s poetic in a haunting, compelling and beautiful way. It’s deep and rich and so real and transparent. I’ve only heard season two so far but I look forward to listening to season one.

It’s my new fave show, but will there be more episodes?? I stumbled across this via death sex money and I am SO glad I did. I have not heard something this beautiful in a long time. As someone who loves characters over plot, this really spoke to my heart and artistic senses. So moving. I’m sure these episodes take time to make but please oh please make more.

This show has some tremendous storytelling. Beautiful, true, vulnerable, etc, etc. Two of these episodes are some of the best audio stories I’ve heard in years. OTOH, it feels like a couple episodes fell through and the season ends with 15 minutes about a belt. I mean… I get the premise is “everything is art”. But sometimes a belt is just a belt. Very curious to hear where the next season goes.

I heard The Crossing Guard on Rumblestrip, another great podcast, and loved it. Now I've listened to all episodes of Constellation Prize (great title) and I'll look for everything Bianca Giaever produces. Thoughtful, funny, uplifting and (slightly) depressing --- but did I say funny?!!
