It’s a good show, I’m going to miss it. I’m not excited about the new format coming. I’m worried it’s going to turn into a games podcast led by people who understand and love PlayStation. It was nice to just hear the stuff I care about once a week.

I love the whole crew. Really good discussions about everything Xbox.

They spent 15 minutes talking about how good PlayStation games are. I get it PlayStation is better but I don’t listen to this podcast for that. If I wanted to listen to how PlayStation games are better then I would listen to PS I LOVE YOU. There are much more informative and better Xbox podcast out there skip this one.

Great Xbox podcast

I think I’m done with this show. Been listening for a couple years and the current episode (12/21/2023) is titled “The Good, Bad & Ugly of 2023 and they just fangirl out for an hour and decide to skip the bad & ugly. Xbox had a pretty bad year and they just handwave it and have a love fest for the CEO? It’s ok to critique things, it helps brands get better. Kinda Funny makes some great podcasts but this isn’t one of them. If you only want to hear serious discussion, look elsewhere because you won’t find anything but super fandom here.

Look, I understand that you need a host that’s obnoxious and excitable like a child, but Mike takes it way too far. You can even get that vibe off of all of his cohosts, even when they seem like friends. They literally talk to him like he’s a 4 year old that can’t shut up about his new fire truck because that’s exactly how he sounds and acts. It’s just too much.

The podcast itself isn’t bad. They talk about some good topics and what not if you can muscle through the first 20-30 minutes of loud laughing and lots of yelling into the mic. I think they feel the need to make sure you can hear they are super pumped so they yell a lot and when they get really excited it’s like they want to blow your ear drums out.

I love Kinda funny Xcast and all their other content, but the thing keeping this show back from 5 stars is Gary Witta. He doesn’t add anything positive or informative to the show, in fact he detracts from the experience when the other people are trying to have a good conversation he finds a way to shut it down or make it awkward. Especially the most recent episode he acted like a little crybaby and it really reinforces that the episodes WITHOUT GARY are the best this show has to offer.

I started listening to the show about two months ago and did not care for Mike. They drew me in more and more with their big time interviews and I kept coming back. Mike is a really good host and doing some great work. I enjoy the show and look forward to it dropping weekly.

But Gary’s rambling and tendency to repeat himself in the same breath gets annoying, especially during episodes such as the one about Knockout City. I was excited to hear the behind the scenes stories on why live services getting shut down happen, but Gary just rambles and figuratively gets in the way. Mike and Parris are good hosts, and I like hearing Parris’ two cents on any given matter, but Gary really weighs them down and is the sole reason I went looking for a different Xbox centric podcast. A real shame, as I like Kinda Funny’s energy and overall positive vibes when they talk about video games. Thankfully there is PS I Love You, so I’m happy.

Literally Forza Horizon 5 in 2021, maybe you’ve heard of it? Halo 1? Halo 2? And that’s just off the top of my head. Maybe do cursory google research before opening your mouth and posting clickbait headlines that are outright lies? Clowns. Unfollowed

Really? A 3 out of 5 for the 2022 Xbox Bethesda showcase? Grow up and get your head out of the clouds you spoiled brat.

The rest of KF has gone down hill. Please don’t ruin this show. Mike, Gary and Paris are great! And I don’t even own an Xbox

Originally gave this one star but I honestly hate messing with people’s livelihoods or income streams, even if my one little review likely has no effect. I like Mike a lot, but I think Gary throws out hot takes without nearly enough knowledge and he seemingly doubled down when presented with facts or new info. Just not the type of podcast I want to listen to. It helped when Alanah was on because I think she had a tendency to bring the knowledge and even correct Gary at times, but with her gone, he’s free to shoot from the hip and the whole show suffers for it. Mike’s awesome, and while I don’t have anything personally against Gary, I just think you can do better if you’re looking for an Xbox podcast. Hope Mike gets some co-host help soon.

Being a fan of Xbox, I was excited when another respected media outlet was putting out a Xbox podcast. SnowBikeMike was almost a bit much until a listened more. I grew to greatly appreciate his enthusiasm and seemingly never-ending positivity. I almost gave up the podcast when one of the original hosts, Alanah, left, but so glad I didn’t since I found one of my favorite Xbox podcasters after Parris joined. Parris brings that down-to-Earth, level-headed, respectable, intelligent viewpoint and he seems to be knowledgeable about everything in gaming despite this not being his primary career. Garry mostly provides the class clown perspective and I appreciate him as he’s in my age bracket.

Snow bike Mike is the real deal! Love the Podcast and his fantastic energy!

KF adds another hit to their show roster! SnowbikeMike, Alanah, and Gary are perfect for this show. It’s nice to see something that rivals PS I Love You (another hit KF Show) with the same passion, personality, and industry knowledge. I can’t wait to hear their thoughts on everything Xbox. Hail to the chief, Master Chief.

All of the five star reviews are not by accident. There are so many podcasts and this one absolutely stands out. The three main hosts work great together and keep things entertaining. One of the best gaming podcasts out there!

I like the podcast. Its a large reason why I bought a Series X (my first Xbox ever), along with Game Pass. However, you could do with a little less cheerleading. Its getting a little annoying. Edit: To follow up on this review, and upon listening to your most-recent podcast where you discuss the whole Game Pass/games journalism meme, the problem is not that you’re being positive; its that in your effort to celebrate Game Pass, you sound as if you would be unwilling to entertain any criticism of it. Nothing is ever wholly good or perfect. You guys make valid points against many of the so-called “criticisms” levied against Game Pass (for example, we all have Netflix, so ownership of the content should no longer be an issue), but the cheerleading gets to a point where - at least so far as I’m concerned - it gets draining to hear. The podcast sometimes sounds more like paid advertising circa 1980s than actual video games commentary and discussion. Again, love the podcast, love the fact that you guys have POC, but the cheerleading…omg the cheerleading needs to be toned down a tad!

Love Mike and Parris, not really a fan of Kinda Funny content, but I’ve been listening to this show since the first episode. My only complaint is that Gary doesn’t really seem like he wants to be there, and doesn’t seem very knowledgeable about what’s going on within the world of Xbox.

If I’m being honest here. I used to think Snowbike Mike was a little annoying. However, the gusto and innocent enthusiastic attitude he brings to this show has changed my opinion completely. The warmth is infectious through the podcast and that’s pretty wild. Mike, Gary and Parris have great chemistry together and it works. So I hope to see this show continue for a while. Now Kinda Funny just needs a Nintendo Show.

Sorry, he seems like a nice dude but the constant praise and cornball that comes out of snowbikemike is too much. I can’t stand listening to it. It is just too over the top.

I followed Paris from GTR I didn’t even know this podcast exist. I love all three of you guys chemistry. I’m so glade Paris introduced me to this podcast.

I’ve gotten a little burned out by gaming podcasts lately but Snow Bike Mike’s positive vibe is very inviting and I love his dynamic with Gary being a little more critical on view points. I enjoyed the show when Alana was on but I love the addition of Parris.

To elaborate; it seems to me sometimes the hosts just go on and on to fill time. Often repeating the same thing in with different wording. Not to harp on this but sometimes they go on for longer than they should because they got nothing new to say. I mean, it’s like they have a tendency to ramble a little and repeat their rambles.

KindaFunny is trash tier in general SnowBikeMike and Parris Lily seem alright but every other person at Kinda Funny is pretty much insufferable and this podcast feels like a corporate advertising rather than genuine conversation. Kinda like every KindaFunny podcast/product. Check out Defining Duke, XoneBros, or pretty much any other Xbox podcast. You’ll be smarter for it.

Great podcast, the only complaint I have is that Paris’s mic is always cutting in and out.

I’m not a fan of Snowbike Mike, since he comes off as insincere and trying too hard. Otherwise, Parris and Gary are cool. Maybe I’ll try it again in the future.

Been looking for a show like this for a long time. Almost started my own. Glad I didn’t, I would have missed the magic these guys make every week. Definitely look forward to Saturday afternoon workouts so I can listen. No doubt I’d listen to whatever Parris is on but these guys really work well together.

Episode 29 has been the standout episode since launch. Shines the brightest during the FPS interview. The addition of Parris solidifies the team chemistry. Energy from Mike is always top tier every week and Gary adds his laundry list of experience that keeps the show honest and grounded. Keep up the great work gents!

Still really love the show, all the hosts are great, best Xbox podcast hands-down, but some of the opinions/topics are getting a little same-y. How many times are these guys going to share their not-very-controversial opinions about Gamepass? Some suggestions: 1. Add a ‘you’re wrong’ section, because as much as I love Garry’s rants.. 2. Talk more about actual games, not just about Microsoft and their position in the industry 3. Invite more guests on the show

Mike brings the hype and positivity. Gary tells it like it is and has decades of experience. Parris meets them both in the middle and has that lineage going all the way back to the OH Xbox. Love all you guys and this is now my favorite Kinda Funny show.

Quite frankly one of the best shows (if not the best) on Kinda Funny. Every Saturday I’m always looking forward to a new show being released to listen to it with coffee at hand to start off the day. As an adult with a family this sincerely takes me back to my days as a kid looking forward to Saturday mornings to watch the X-men Animated Cartoons and WWF Saturday Morning shows (I know it’s totally unrelated but it’s this same feeling of excitement I get for some reason). Additionally, when Alanah left (and she was awesome all the time on the show) you brought in Parris and I couldn’t be happier! As a long time Gamertag radio listener (my favorite gaming podcast for 7 years straight) this was the best decision going forward for the show as the chemistry between Mike, Gary and Parris is just on another level. Thank you for producing great content and for delivering a top notch show each and every week! PS: Can we please get Parris on those KF Wandavision reactions on Friday? :)

Great hosts, love Parris being on, and love the positivity

Love this podcast. The host, Mike, has an upbeat personality which makes watching fun. The other two hosts, Gary and Paris, are knowledgeable and have instant chemistry. Only knock is they sometimes devolve into an Xbox commercial. I’d venture to guess most listening/watching have an Xbox—we are already sold on the product and/or Gamepass. More critiques and analysis would push this to a perfect podcast. For example, the main topic for the first podcast of 2021 was controllers. The elite controller is mentioned several times, but never the high failure rate and issues surrounding it.

Please keep this going in 2021. Snowbike Mike and Gary are the best.

The hosts are extremely insightful and entertaining. A must listen for Xbox fans.
