Dr. Nessim gives historical background to what most have not ventured to delve. The Judaism of the first through third centuries is a topic that most are either unconcerned or irrelevant to today’s world. I am not of that persuasion. Historical reconstruction of redemptive Messianic faith is needed for Jewish and Christian brothers of all stripes. Thank you for the synopsis!

What a delightful and enlightening discovery! I have always felt the absence of cultural context in studying the way of Jesus. And I realize more and more the importance of Judaism as that context. I came to interest in the topic through the name of Yeshua. We all like to be called and respond best to our name as it is intended to be said. And I felt increased power in the original name Yeshua. Now I am deeply interested in messianic Judaism. There is still the challenge that no messianic group seems to be inclusive of LGBT people, so I will stay at and admire from a distance. The podcast is just wonderful, and I am so grateful! i’m going to look into where the next episode might be!
