I love this podcast so much and I love Briahna Joy Gray so much! She is super smart and super funny and is not afraid to stand up for her point of view. She always has amazing takes and amazing interviews. I have been turned on to many other wonderful leftist thinkers and podcasts by listening to Bad Faith. You will not be disappointed!

Briahna is speaking it like it is and holding people accountable for the injustices we are facing as Americans. She is smart, well-spoken, and fearless.

Your entire promise regarding the Daniel Penny situation is flawed, both morally, and legally. You can act self-defense or defense of others in a way that is proportional to the threat that they are posing, not simply to their actions. It is an assault to threaten imminent harm to others, and there is no obligation under the law or under any other rubric that you have to wait for someone to do actual harm before using physical force to restrain them. Obviously the outcome of the situation was horrible, but we don’t judge actions by outcome. Daniel Penny had a right under the law to physically restrain nearly and had no obligation to wait for Neely to hurt someone else before doing so.

My only gripe is that Bre needs new cover art/photo because the image with her old co-host is so tired and outdated.

I usually find Bre’s work stimulating and interesting even when I don’t fully agree with her conclusions. How we, this guest is shocking to me - she parrots demonstrably false and deeply offensive myths about Russia and especially their actions in Ukraine and I don’t understand why it’s ok to platform someone who spreads this kind of very harmful misinformation

Briahna Joy Gray got fired so now she grifts “leftists” that learned about Marx through TikTok into joining her patreon and so she can make 30k a month to tell them what they want to hear, instead of what they need to hear.

“Leftist” in so far as it’s basically just a project from David Sacks to depress dem votes in favor of hard right nationalists like Vance, Trump etc. She cares about Palestine and establishing an actual institutional left about as much as she can line her pockets and get clout.

Bre is incredible. Her guests are well chosen and given plenty of time and space to expound on their opinions and expertise. Bre’s additional commentary and opining ask sooooooo many of the questions that I and many of my leftist peers care deeply about. I have listened to nearly every episode since this project began back in 2020, I’ve learned tons, had my opinions change and have felt soooo much more prepared for a positive and appropriately critical discourse about the role of left political thought in my community. Thank you guys for your fenomenal work and Bre, your stamina in the face of slander and hypocrisy is unbelievable and unendingly commendable. I’m a young American farmer and I’m voting green!!

Briahna Joy Gray has such an informed and fearless take on politics and a razor sharp intellect. Her interviews are so refreshing, because she is eternally willing to disagree, respectfully, with her guests and present her counter observation. Very worthwhile podcast. Btw: I had no idea how much more excellent content was behind the paywall. Best $5/mo. I’ve ever spent!

Incredible guests

I got the premium subscription just for a month so I could listen to one interesting interview, and then I just kept going because it was really worth it

I love listening to Brianna’s interviews. She asks questions that few outlets ask and she follows up with hard questions. Excellent dialogue.

Don’t know how I would navigate the labyrinth of left politics without Brianha’s insight and commitment to honesty.

Brianna’s strength is her honesty and openness when it comes to talking with her interviewees and commentary. Bad Faith is a left leaning political and social issue podcast Where Briahna Joy Grey talks with one or more guests (usually highly credential or experts in there field) about a range of different topics and offers interesting pushback and insightful questions. The podcast topics can be very informative but also dense. When I first started listening I had to watch the episodes to understand what they were talking about at all. But after listening to a few episodes and understanding what they’re talking about, I found the podcast very enjoyable. Although not necessary, I will say that even a lot of the earlier episodes are also good and let’s you understand better when Briahna brings up a past interview. If you like this podcast I recommend her other show The Debrief. It was a call in show that I hope makes a return one day.

In a world where we hear people that we once trusted, backing a genocidal government and setting the bar so low, Bad Faith has been grounding! I appreciate the fact-based reporting, interviews and commentary.

Any idea when Virgil will be back?

I have been listening to podcasts and following politics both for about 15 years of my life. I have cycled through many different personalities and points of view, having had to outgrow many of them. Briahna Joy Gray is the most thoughtful, good faith, intelligent and charismatic person in left political analysis today. If we are talking American day to day political machinations, Bri will be having the most honest and inquisitive discussions about them with often amazing guests. Her conversations and lines of questioning are always constructive and inquisitive which really demonstrates her good faith commitment to every day, working class people and the arguments that uphold our values.

Well, at least it’s an accurate title 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is one of the best pods out there. Briana is fearless and asks the hard questions. Her discussions about Israel, Palestinians, and U.S. politics are hard hitting and honest. Keep up the great work!

Found her through twitter and her very brave reporting on Israel’s total war of annihilation on the Palestinian people. Great show, couldn’t recommend it more, unless you think Israeli’s have the God given right to kill the native inhabitants of their free beach front property, in which case, maybe just watch C-Span, Right leaning news networks, center left leaning news networks, German television, NPR etc so you can feel justified in killing all of those kids and taking their land like Hitler had planned to do.

One of the worst shows ive ever listened to. Brianna is a dishonest, gaslighting, no talent, no brain talentless nothing. The entire show is her hating on Jewish people and making baseless claims about everyone and everything in the world is racist. Truly would rather commit seppuku than listen or look at her again

In general really enjoy this podcast but it’s really weird that Virgil is still on the podcast art and listed as a co-host. Undermines credibility at the very least.

Totally devoid of fact or insight and pure moral exhibitionism. Bri is one of the most hateful, dishonest, and outright antisemitic figures in media today, it’s remarkable that she’s even employed at the Hill and this podcast is just an extension of her preposterous and deeply vile opinions

There are no other podcasts that dare to call out the corporate overlords and criticize the lapdogs that don’t. All facts checked with humility and consistency. Brave interviews both in choice of guest and in lack of softballs. If there are other podcasts on par with Bad Faith I would hope that they contact each other off air and form some sort of secret coalition. Or something…

I don’t agree with all your takes, most recently elevating Marianne Williamson in hopes of breaking the two party hegemony. Even when I disagree with you I appreciate your willingness to put your ideas on full display. Question, are you contractually obligated to continue promoting Virgil Texas? I’ve been listening to you for probably at least 2 years, but have never heard him. Yet, he still gets co-billing and his picture on the Bad Faith card?!

In a time where low standards, both journalistically and politically, seem to have become the standard, it is nurturing and reassuring to have such a talented, principled warrior lead a charge into critique and hopefully change.
