Mark MldrA great place to learn about soil/soil science.I've listened to approximately 10 podcast episodes to date, and will work my way through all of them. Diego interviews some of the most knowledgeable soil scientists and citizen scientists, asks relevant questions (i.e., how does your knowledge relate to our soil health, human health, excess atmospheric carbon crises?) that reveal and distill the current relevancy of their work. My only complaint: more please!!

Pshhyee2Amazing soil insights! These are dense episodes, but well done and filled with amazing insights into the soil world!

ThrowerDownThe Best Soil InformationI absolutely love this podcast. Certainly my favorite. Such great information on Soil Topics. Please keep it up. I would only have one recommendation: I find the in depth, in the weeds conversations regarding soil chemistry just the best. I would love to hear full podcasts on an element/nutrient (silicon, phosphorous, zinc, etc.). Thank you for such a great product.

Mekias SolomonVery informative and well organizedKeep it up and would love to see you continue the podcast. Cheers!!

Alistair B in TexasGreat information articulated wellI’m returning to farm operating after many years and am learning that the old ways are not the good ways! Diego has a great interviewer mind and hosts a diverse, high quality range of professionals that result in compelling content for those interested in regenerative farming. Good for keen gardeners through to industrial scale farmers. Thank you Diego!

P WargoHustling and crushing it!!My go-to podcast when wanting to dive deep into the realm of soils. As a market gardener that’s focused on building deep, sustainable soils, you can never have too many plays in your playbook. I’m always taking away something every time I listen and re-listen to Diego’s podcasts. The questions he asks are very thought through and the experts he has on the show are some of the best in their respective fields. Cheers to all the soil needs out there. Thanks so much Diego!!

ZukeepThe best in-depth soil discussions! This podcast is best I’ve heard on the subject of soil, the keystone of any healthy garden and ecosystem. I’m a permaculture designer, environmental educator, and ecosystem restorationist. I have listened to basically every related podcast I can find. This one is the best for diving deep with world renowned soil scientists. Diego asks insightful, informed questions that go beyond the surface and gets answers that we can use on, and in the ground. Thanks Diego!

joedinn150loving the new podcast!Been a fan of Diego’s other shows, Farm Small Farm Smart, and Grassfed Life. This is a great new focus, and expertly done. Diego has put a lot of time into this field, and he still has a great way of having conversations with guests in a way that presents accessible information to people all along the spectrum of familiarity. They are also a pleasure to listen to. Thanks Diego!

BmwGuy91The support we need!!!I have finished Diego’s first ten part series and I can’t wait for the next. His guests are always relevant and the information is up to date and accurate! So much so that I use different clips in my AG Ed classes. Thank you so much! Look forward to another set soon!!!!

NlewiscopelandGreat informationYou give great information, I don’t want it in “clips” please just post the full interview. You are doing 2 podcasts I follow both, but you give a “clip” in one and don’t post the full in the other...

charlos1ExcellentAs a self taught organic gardener I’ve been hoping for years I was at least going in the right direction. Diego asks excellent questions and the guests he has on are easy to understand. I don’t think I’ve rewound a podcast so many times. I will be re-listening to all of these. Thanks, Diego

@nativescapesdesignIntense and Skeptical! Love it.I've been a listener since year one of Permaculture Voices. D-I-E-G-O is far and away the OG in this space, a seasoned amateur in the grandest sense, one of the greats. His vault of conversations with experts is extensive, guided by a curious mind, and often on point with follow-up questions and professional tone. His newest show is in search of soil, but it's really in search of the truest knowledge to increase productivity and live well in harmony with the earth. Well worth it.

I find myself agreeing with his guests when they say over and over again, “yeah that’s a great question.” Diego please keep asking those great questions!

dirtydan419We are soil farmersAs we progress towards a resilient agriculture, the need for a holistic picture of soil life and interactions has become critical. Excited to hear more of these conversations and continue learning how to build soil life for nutrient dense produce. Thank you Diego and all involved in the making of this series!
