I’m learning Italian and I love listening to this podcast while I’m doing housework and going to sleep. He has a calming pleasant voice and tone.

I’ve been searching for months for ways to improve my listening comprehension in Italian. I’ve watched a few Netflix series and other videos but they’re often very difficult to follow because they speak so fast. This podcast is simple enough for me to follow along but it still challenges me. I love that I can listen to Italian while walking or driving so I’m able to immerse myself in the language.

This is exactly the podcast I was after. I have studied Italian previously, but it has been ages since I was interacting with it on a regular basis. Simone (the host) is wonderful. He’s got great topics in his series that put you in the middle of different scenarios and vocabulary. And he always delivers in a speed that allows new-ish students to follow. It’s not for brand new, brand new learners but is perfect if you are looking to dive back in. Grazie mille, Simone.

He’s a sweet, curious person who delivers interesting content for intermediate Italian learners. The main subject matter is his international travel experiences. Audio quality is very good. Simon’s podcast is perfect to learn Italian. He speaks clearly and talks about interesting topics. He is thoughtful, sincere, and funny. I have learned a LOT listening to his podcast on my runs and drives. I strongly recommend it!

I’ve been working on Italian since November, trying to find podcasts that use comprehensible input. I am a language teacher and I know that for learners we don’t need grammar and Lists of vocabulary. We need input that is interesting slow and compelling and comprehensive. Simone is wonderful. He is a language learner, himself. I started at the beginning with episode one, and I am listening to each one twice. It would be worth listening to them a third time. He is so generous to offer these for free. A wealth of input. I’ve been studying Italian (3-6 hours a day) for 6 months and I have now reached the point where I can listen to full length content and understand 90% of it. The problem is, a lot of podcasts blow through new words and forms of speaking, thus causing me to miss a lot of it. This guy EXPLAINS new words whilst remaining in Italian, so that I don’t have to go look them up or switch to thinking in English at any point. He speaks at the perfect pace for me and i can feel my comprehension skill level up with every listen. For the record I’d say I’m at about a B2. Bravo. AND THANK YOU

Senza dubbio questo è il miglior podcast per imparare l’Italiano. Simone parla de tante cose interessante e condividere le sue esperienze non solo di viaggio però anche di studente di varie lingue. Mi ha inspirato a continuare a imparare, il mio livello di comprensione è cresciuto incredibilmente. Si lo raccomando a tutti!

The early episodes are incredibly interesting comprehensible input delivered by a super personable guy. Simone speaks clearly and, unlike many other podcasters producing content for learners, doesn’t read another boring monologue about pizza or Leonardo da Vinci. He appears not to be reading at all and, in fact, could be easily mistaken for a professional radio or TV host. Unfortunately the podcast has devolved into a stream of consciousness hot mess by a young man who fancies himself quite the philosopher. Hopefully he can pull himself out of him ever-increasing self-important tailspin and get back to the early format of imparting interesting information to listeners. Fingers crossed.

I love that I have learned so many new words and phrases just from his explanations in Italian. Simone is a skillful speaker and has a way of breaking down complex concepts into understandable simple Italian. This podcast has been a huge help!

Simone is a great entrepreneur in that he solves his own problem first—he was bored learning about mountains and goulash so he focused on real life and subjects that mattered to him in German, and he does the same for us as learners of Italian. You get the conjugations, you get the slow speed, but you get it through learning about meditation, dancing, and life. If you already knew another Romance language and like me suddenly realized you could understand some Italian but wanted to get more precise with it, this is your best path.

Simone speaks at a good speed and very clearly, he also explains difficult words with examples and sometimes charming sound effects. The topics are interesting and he provides links if you want to learn more

Simone does such an amazing job in presenting compelling / interesting topics in a cadence and clarity that is easy to follow . Each episode is so thoughtful and insightful that you can’t wait for the next one . And the episodes will also lead you to background references that connect us to emerge further in the culture and language ; making language learning more fun then we Thought possible .

This is an excellent podcast for anyone learning Italian. Simone has an incredible way of merging interesting content with easy-to-follow explanations and various ways of saying things. I love his stories of both travel and pandemic life. This has quickly become my favorite Italian podcast!

I stumbled across this podcast as I'm trying to improve my basic Italian skills. I absolutely love listening to Simone. His diction is very clear and the content is enjoyable and just challenging enough. Listening to the podcast and then reading the transcirption with the excercises is helping me immensely.
