Hannahpocalypse

Hannahpocalypse is the fourth wall breaking hopepunk comedy/horror audio drama that follows the last zombie, Hannah, who's ‘living’ her best unlife over 150 years after the zombie apocalypse has come and gone. All the while Cali, a scout from a thriving settlement looks to make a mark on the world but is coming up bust. Destined to collide, zombie and human will be forced into an unlikely friendship amid a wasteland full of killer robots left over from the ‘bad old days’. It’s a story of love, death, and a girl who eats people.Cast and Crew:Amanda Hufford as HannahAbigail Turner as CaliJordan Rudolph as MelTom Shalk as Rictor, LagartoWill Handford as Bogart, Jameson and othersYenni Ann as AshleyJames Holyeoke as BillyLeslie Gideon as MorganGuest Voices by Luke Alphonso, Kenneth Faircloth Jr., Ryan Hoyle, Sarah Golding, Kristi Boulton, Ginger Sue, John Patneade and more!Script Editor - KR (Anonymous)Sensitivity Reader (Season One) - Mak ShepardWriting and Sound Design by Damian SzydloDirected by Amanda Hufford & Damian SzydloProduced by Red Fathom EntertainmentThough Hannahpocalyse does not endeavor to be offensive or overly graphic it is rated explicit due to language (swearing), dark humor, cinematic violence and possibly triggering themes. Great characters and an interesting world
This show is really entertaining. Each episode builds more of the post-apocalyptic world and adds to what came before. I’m interested to see where the story goes.

    Good writing, mediocre story
I really did enjoy the first season. The voice acting was excellent and the dialogue felt natural and humorous. However, the second season was messy. First off the format of the episodes was annoying. It goes like this: 2mins ads, 1 min opening song, 10ish minutes of actual story followed by 5 mins of talking about the podcast and… oh yeah, more ads. Secondly, each episode kept jumping from character to character. Normally I don’t mind this format, but it was literally a new character every episode and I found myself losing interest in the main characters. Not sure if I’m up for a potential season 3.

    Fun, Addictive Apocalyptic Adventures
Great escapism at a moment where I need it most. Articulate, cheeky and dark. Afterlife doesn’t get much better.

    Gay
Lesbos, lots of lesbos. What you’d expect. Rambles a lot, corky, an unfunny comedy, and drags on sometimes randomly. Gotta take it in small doses if you’ve got literally nothing else to listen to.

    Still entertaining
Well into Season 2 and the story is still interesting. Great character development. Looking forward to new episodes.

    Disappointed
I’m disappointed you put out basically 2 seasons then the 10th episode on the 2nd season you want to start charging to listen to it!

    So close!
Really amazing and novel story idea in season 1, but the acting is so over dramatic with truly terrible accents. Hannah is amazing, but all other voice actors ruin the story 😬 Story drops off after season 1. It’s like reading Tina’s diary from Bobs Burgers. And the voice acting is WAY worse, with far less Hannah. I wanted to give it one star because I had to stop listening (season 2 is that bad), but like I said- the idea of Hannah is a truly amazing one.

    Fun
I never thought I would identify with a zombie. It’s oddly heartwarming. Wish I could merch.

    Comedy zombie SF
Zombie invasion, from the perspective of the zombies. Or one zombie. Genre-bending - queer, zombies, robots, mutants, interior monologue, post-apocalypse drama comedy, with strong female characters. Unique.

    Cool!
Never knew how much I needed a zombie’s internal monologue

    Love it!
Refreshing, love the humor and the characterizations, and always love some queer rep! <3 I can’t wait for the next season!

    Fun with great characters
The series isn’t completed, but honestly the premise was fun and the characters gave a lot of life to the story. I would definitely give another listen just for the fun of it.

    Not consistent
Take to long to wait for new episodes for only 12 minutes

Interesting take on becoming a zombie. Well worth a listen in your earholes.
