I love this. This is the best way to connect with creators. Truly immersive, imaginative… immaculate even, storytelling. I’ve been trying to hack time for a very long time myself so I love the little metaphysics lessons intertwined (which is the very best way to teach and learn!!). My only complaint is that I want a new episode every day!

Just the best piece of fiction ever created, IMO. Please keep 'em coming folks! It's literally the only thing holding me together some days down here on Earth.

Listen folks, I consume a lot of audiodrama content. This is, by far, one of the best out there. Heartfelt, hilarious, great world building, fantastic character development, and truly touching. Honestly one of my favorite things I’ve ever listened to.

This was recommended to me somewhere. I included as a short podcast between longer news oriented podcasts. Then its maniac energy and stories grew on me. It got longer and the stories took philosophical turns at times. Some aspects remind me of “The Good Life”. I just listened to a season end story that was over an hour long and it was engaging the entire time.

I’ve listened to this at work over the past week. It’s a great story that gets you sucked into it. The writing is good, and good voice acting. The background effects are superb. In every episode there’s a storyline that related to the entirety, but in its own stands well. I do however think the buffed the muckleberry’s as they seem to have less control in the recent episodes than when first introduced. Keep up the good work! I loved the 3 part bonus, space series that seems to be a previously done audio drama, under the same name with different actors but I loved it.

It’s not a bad show. Kinda crazy storyline to follow. However I’m here to listen to a podcast not political views of people during this free preview. You got me for a couple seasons but I won’t finish it now.

Great opening story line and then it went ideological . I guess everyone has a perspective but I would have preferred they stuck to the original story thread. It just became too preachy.

This podcast is exactly what I’ve been searching for since my first podcast that got me obsessed with podcasts. Complex story lines, amazing and complicated characters. Written in a way that feels like you’re listening to real people with real problems but really they’re in a inter dimensional diner lol it’s just awesome you won’t regret listening and if you do you’re the problem lol

I have listened to a truly excessive amount of scripted podcasts and this is hands down one of the best. It is funny, cozy, poignant, exciting, thoughtful… somehow it balances all of these feelings with extreme finesse. It takes the best of the sci fi genre and brings it to the next level! Excellent plot, quality voice acting, wonderful character development. I could go on and on, just give it a listen!

One of the first podcast I had to binge when I found it. Now I compare all others to. Great story, great characters that you come to love, fantastic actors & sound design. Just on another level.

The wonderful cast and the amazing community that have sprung up around this amazing podcast keep me enthralled - not entertained, mind you, ENTHRALLED - with every episode. Shift Notes becomes a lovely additive if you choose to support this worthy endeavor, and the side stories with Young Leif and the Horizon Hotel are the side stories that show the immense depth of this podcast. Joe (the writer) found the most amazing people to bring this to life. Here’s a fun drinking game for the first couple seasons: finish your beer if Ian is doing another voice!

There are only a handful of podcasts I find worthy of listening to and this show tops them all! Incredible concept with a truly outstanding cast. When I listen to this podcast I am completely immersed in the story and feel like I’m there in the diner traveling through space and time with the crew. I would give 10 ⭐️ if I could.

I LOVE every episode! When they end, I get sad but excited because I know a new one is coming! The characters and the storyline is so intriguing and entertaining! I recommend this to everyone!

I finally caught up after finding the show quite a while after it had started. One thing that strikes me is just how much the creators seem to care about their audience. No crazy subscriptions, countless ads, and they never seem to call in an episode. Each one is really high quality. On top of that the spin offs like Young Lief are there while we wait for the next episode. I wish more podcasts were made this well. Edit: this current season is a little rough. A lot of dead air, noises without dialogue, and the plot is completely different than what it used to be. The story just got silly without any real meaning or events to move it forward. Flooding, race cars, and zebras just as a filler episode…why? Hopefully it gets better to what it was.

The show has lost its greatness. It used to be absolutely ridiculously hilarious and the show has kinda just slowly become less funny and is no longer as easy to follow

This show is so many things to me: a place to be safe, a place to escape when things get hard, a story that shows us both the best and worst parts of humanity in equal parts…. It is a beautiful piece of art made by passionate artists, writers, actors and voice talents who really dedicate their energy and passion to the material to make it come alive for the audience. I have been devouring everything I can from these creators, from their miniseries in the show to their deep-dive subscribers only podcasts “Shift Notes.” And personally, that has made my experience with the show that much richer! The writing and story telling is fantastic!!! It hit me like a ton of bricks. Every season the cast gels more, the writing and story telling gets better. I love all the science, engineering, theoretical physics……. Season 3 was exceptionally good. I listen to this podcast to make my life better during boring life draining monotonous tasks like making dinner, dishes, yard work blah blah you know the tasks. The story arc is amazing you get to season 3 and it’s sooo good, I cannot express how much I enjoyed season 3. Keep it coming guys. Leif is my favorite, keep blowing Sh…. UP.

When I’m having a rough day, I replay one of the episodes. I dare you not to fall in love with these characters. It is impossible! The cast is great and the writing soooooooooo good. Yes. An English major just wrote this inarticulate mess. Ignore that and listen!

this show gets me every time!! i just wrapped up season 1 and i am baffled by how every episode is goofy and delightful but also makes me literally cry every time hits that perfect little spot in my brain thank u!

I love this podcast and can’t wait for each episode to come out. Definitely would recommend. My only complaint is with Episode 35. Was there a contest to see how many F bombs and other swears could be used??? It really detracted from the story and I had to turn it off because it was NSFW. Hoping to get some free time to come back to it. And hoping that this is not foreshadowing for future episodes.

This is hands down one of the best audio dramas I have had the pleasure of hearing. It’s also one of the best stories I have heard in a long time and I enjoy it so much.

Midnight Burger is hands down one my favorite podcasts! If you want a story with amazing characters, found family aspects, and wacky adventures through time and space you should give it a chance! The creators have been able to make me fall in love with the entire main cast (and many of the side characters). I find myself consistently re-listening to this podcast as I wait for more episode to come out. Definitely a comfort show for me!

Hands down favorite podcast! Bi-weekly is not enough. I need more! Would love some more backstory episodes on all of the characters. The young Leif episodes were really interesting. Keep up the great work! You guys have really created something fun and lighthearted. I’m addicted :) Ps. 90% of the negative reviews are complaining that this is a “Christian” podcast. As a Christian myself, I can tell you this is definitely NOT a Christian podcast. It’s a very well done, well thought out podcast. Very neutral and if anything, leans ever so slightly to the liberal side. So if you’re worried about the negative reviews…do not fear! Give it a listen. You won’t be disappointed. It’s great for everyone! (But not kids lol)

I’m not even into science fiction but gezz!!! This is one of the most creative podcast I have ever listened to. I’ve been listening to podcast for years not and there has only been two I’ve thought, if this was a show it would be amazing and probably make a lot of money. But more importantly open minds. It’s a mind bending, interesting, creative and just straight up innovative creation!!!!

I’ve never written a review for a podcast or been so obsessed with one. I listen to A LOT of podcasts but this one is hands down my favorite of all time. The writing and voice acting is amazing. The story just keeps getting better. I hope it never ends.

Excellent & Clever Writing, Storytelling and what to me sounds like first class character acting really brings everything together- I thank you for many, many hours of entertainment and can only hope for many more.

Midnight Burger checks all of the boxes I wasn't even looking for: silly, space-based, fun, wholesome adventures with the best, fully fleshed out characters, while somehow incorporating all the nostalgic parts of growing up Christian without any of the hate and judgment that comes with it. Every character is endearing and redeemable to an extent, and the bonus content is worth the money! Definitely worth listening to if you need a little renewed faith in humanity.

My brother shared this to me and I was immediately, these stories deserve to be a show, or an animated series.

This should be a TV or movie series. Seriously, this could be bigger than than Dr. YouKnowWho.

This show is truly incredible. I’ve enjoyed all the twists and turns there’s been. It’s so different and feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s so much fun listening to it. It’s the best part of my mornings. The character building is incredible. My favorite episode has to be in season 3 episode Maul of America. So well written and executed. Almost finished with Season 3. Excited to start Season 4.

I have yet to find another show that keeps me engaged as this one does’ from the great story line to action packed sounds. This show has kept me glued to my speakers.

I’ve listened to hundreds of hours of stories and MB is the best one so far! Wish release dates were better.
