Kristen and Bethany give such great godly advice!

I love how they view God and Jesus and they think we should be doing everything for them. I do not agree with every single claim they make though but there isn’t so many claims that I stop listening (at least for this moment in time). I also know that they made a false claim on their YouTube channel so do not take everything they say as gospel truth. But otherwise I think it is a great podcast and easy to listen to when you are getting ready in the morning!

I get it. They want to sell the new book but that’s the overbearing topic across the recent episodes lately. They are way too cheerleader-ish! Go! Fight! Win!

Excellent content, but the hosts talk so fast, clipped, and staccato, that I use .75 speed to listen.

I love her, I’m an OG poplitics/spillover/culture apothecary fan, and it was so nice to hear about her for a change. She inspires me to trust the Lord in my singleness even though it’s hard at times. God is sovereign and kind and I trust that he knows what’s best for me!

These ladies are solid Christians giving Bible wisdom and advice to today’s single and married Christian women. Great delivery— interesting topics! Highly recommend!

This podcast is so wonderfully articulate and Biblical! The women behind this podcast truly are pursuing Jesus wholeheartedly and sharing the truth of the Bible and gospel even when it’s countercultural. I recommend this podcast to the high school girls I mentor at my church and to my friends because Girl Defined openly discusses topics that churches tend to shy away from- and that is why this podcast is so important and refreshing! I listen to Girl Defined on my way to and from work and I always walk away encouraged and motivated to live boldly for Christ. Thankful these women are being gutsy for God!

I recently came across The Girl Defind Podcast and have enjoyed it so much! I love how there is such a broad range of topics within the show that encourage, inspire and challenge!!

This is such a encouraging podcast to listen to. Kirsten and Bethany stand so boldly on the truth of God’s word, unashamed to declare the truth and actually address these very hot topics from a biblical perspective. They are also very personal and I always find myself either laughing or crying when I listen to them. I definitely give them a five star review!

I feel like you two are like my best friends!! You are both so fun and energetic and incredibly wise. I can feel your compassion in every single episode! I just finished reading Love Defined and it transformed my mentality. I didn’t realize how many worldly lies I was believing! I want to thank you from the very bottom of my heart for all that you do. God has given both of you a huge gift so never give up! I’m 17 and have never been in a dating relationship, but these past few years I was in a relationship where we both were madly in love and wanted to date as soon as I turned was 18. There were some things in his character that bugged me, but we had liked each other for so long and were childhood friends. So the thought of starting over terrified me. Our relationship costed me my parents, my family, my friends, my passions, and my relationship with God. But I thought I had every thing I needed because someone romantically loved me. Long story short, I decided to break our relationship off and I praise God I did because his true character is being shown. And I can see it now without foggy lenses. I do believe marriage was created for one man and one woman and anything outside of that is sin (and yes, this does include same-sex dating relationships, even same-sex marriage relationships, and living sexually active prior to marriage). I do believe the gospel is for all people no matter who you are and what you have done. PracticeL biblically base advice for girls and women today in our current culture.

Been following these women for years and I love their humility and candor with a side of humor! I’d love if they were my sisters!

I love that they cover a whole bunch of different topics! Love this ministry and podcast!

I started following Girl Defined during the pandemic and attended their virtual girl defined conference. I thought it was all great up until they started taking a very feminist and political approach in all of their topics. I am disappointed to say the least. I no longer support or follow their ministry. If this is the new them, then that’s fine. I just don’t agree with it because it doesn’t seem as biblical as it once was.

The world definitely talks about all these topics, and the church doesn’t have time to delve into it all, so it’s So nice to hear a female christian perspective on these topics!!! and in an entertaining way!

First of all, I have to say thank you guys for what you do, and bringing up tough topics like sex that can make people uncomfortable but women have so many questions about! I’ve only listened to a few episodes and they have already had a profound impact on keeping my perspective in check and focusing on God when our culture wants to confuse us. I especially loved the newer episodes; 139, 142, and 143. Please do more like these, they give me hope that I’m not alone in my struggles and give me joy for the future! I have teared up at every episode because they help me realize what’s important. Thank you!

The judgment. The cringe. The hateful opinions. What a train wreck. Let people be themselves. Why is it your business? Typical mean girls. If you’re consuming this podcast & it’s making you hate yourself, please know there are people out there who will love you and uplift you just as you are. You don’t need to change your fundamental self to be worthy of God’s love, or anyone’s love. These girls are incredibly mid anyway, who cares what they think? Honestly, if they aren’t totally outraged by your existence, are you even living?

Kristen and Bethany are girls supporting girls. As if mentoring from afar, their podcast makes me feel seen as someone who shares struggles that many other modern Christian women have. Their content is honest yet hopeful and they really have a knack for leaving you feeling encouraged and hopeful. Love Girl Defined and their content. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been listening to girl defined for many years now and I love how they are Biblically based and they are fun to listen to. Great podcast that I recommend to any girl to listen to!!

About a year or two ago, I started trying to look for Christian podcasts to help me grow in my faith. I’m a 15 year old girl, and I really appreciate this podcast a whole lot! To know that there are like-minded Christians like me who want to love and serve the Lord is so amazing, and they’re not afraid to speak the truth, even though they get a lot of hate for it! The GirlDefined book is great and has helped me find some good Biblical evidence for my stance on womanhood! Thank you so much for putting this stuff out there, Kristen and Bethany! Remember John 15:18-19: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” Also, I would love if y’all could maybe share your opinions on head coverings/ 1 Corinthians 11? I personally head cover but would love your opinions!

I love this podcast!!! As an 18 yr old Christian girl it is so hard to not only find Christian women resources, but resources that are actually solid and speak truth. Kristen and Bethany do this. They are not afraid to speak the truth but communicate it by a loving, godly way. These two women are one of the biggest godly influences and make a huge impact on my life! Sometimes they make me feel like I’m a bad Christian or less of a woman because I don’t have kids and I like having a career. I don’t think that is their intention (at least I hope). Update: if you’re going to listen to this, make sure you already have a solid foundation in the Bible so you can discern between what is in the Good Word and what is just their own words.

Headband & Topknot exemplify everything that is wrong with the white Christian nationalist movement in this country. You’d actually be better off taking advice on women’s issues from a drag queen, because these are little girls playing at being functioning adults who lack any semblance of critical thinking skills. Let them live in the 50s if that’s their kink, but it’s giving pathetic.

I have followed Girl Defined for several years and have appreciated the content provided. However, the past several episodes on this podcast have delved into topics that are extremely detailed and inappropriate. I’m 25 years old and still feel uncomfortable with the information being shared. If the age group targeted for this ministry includes young teen girls, why focus on topics that intrigue and arouse the mind? If you are considering listening to this podcast or allowing your teen to listen, I would highly recommend that parents take a listen and evaluate the content. In the latest episode about pornography, I only heard one reference to Scripture—that’s pretty sad considering the seriousness of the topic. The issue of pornography should be combated with Scripture rather than Dave’s insight. Kristen and Bethany, please consider changing the direction of content and tackle topics that are relevant and appropriate for your audience.
