JackieMac42Think this is AIDecided to give it a chance and the first 4 sentences spoken were different variations of saying that the person was missing, which is an AI characteristic. I’m 99.9% sure it’s AI.

PaellieTalk like a humanPlease talk like a human. Could not get through my first episode with the voice of a robot

Laura B MiamiGREAT Podcast! One of the best podcasts available. Love everything about it. Very engaging.
-
Alex&draWeird deliveryI’m updating my review… I think this is generated or at least read by AI or a program. I’ve decided there’s no way this is a real person reading this content using that affect. The voice is clear and easy to understand. But the speaker’s delivery/ style/ affect is really weird. These cases is are interesting to listen to but listening is hard bc this person sounds strange

Neigh to this podcasterWhere are they? ( and why don’t they go back???)This narrator is the absolute worst I have ever heard in a podcast. Stilted, monotonous tone and inflection, pacing is all off and it proceeds at the rate of an old horse pulling a load of hay to the barn. Why in the world would she ever consider a career using her voice????
-
nelundbergStrange inflectionNarrator has a very strange cadence to her delivery. It makes the material hard to listen to.
-
Chara SHad to stopThe narrator’s cadence and delivery takes away from the content. The content is great, level up by losing the sing song voice and weird inflection.

😄😃😀😃😄😀😃Voice of narratorI love how the podcast is current similar to other podcast that have been on air for almost decades. Now I think a little voice work would go a long way. I had to stop listening because of the voice of the person who is sharing. I felt the same way about the crime, junkies narrator as well but now I think with better equipment and a little bit of voice training its much better.

SurlyTemple99LOVE this podcast!!Excellent selection of recent disappearances. The host is awesome and I love that she focuses on recent disappearances and is so respectful with no banter. I look forward to this podcast every week!

3OweYou know whats lit? When zionists go missing >>> … did you know that the whole idea of “planting trees” in the settler colony of “Israel” is to eventually take more and more Palestinian land. These shows are made by white women mostly so I don’t expect the narrator to do proper research but Judaism is no synonymous with zionism, Israel and the IOF.

Ifeelyourpain2Cases You May of Never Heard AboutLove that this podcasts covers some not so popular cases. The narrator has some growth to do in terms of story telling and editing needs to edit her mistakes. I am going to keep listening because I know it’s going to get better and better. Narrator talk to us like we are your friends not like you’re reading us a story.
-
NetsypieNo politics pleaseRecently started listening! The storyline was fine. But please—-no political commercials. It is difficult enough to hear them from other sources all the time. Podcasts are entertainment and relaxation. Brief chance to get away from reality!
-
LunaMae23Stay tunedVoice is monotonous and uninspiring. Redundant to fill up time - uses anecdotal information and relatively few facts.
-
Brian78Great stories!!So glad I happened upon this podcast. Love the stories. Narration is very scripted but she’s thorough and speaks clearly so that makes it easier to listen to. Really enjoying binging these episodes!!

Christie in TNReviewers esp finderssYou guys need a reality check! It’s a lot of info that needs to be 100 percent factual. They do the work, the research and the writing so reading what they’ve written doesn’t bother me. But I’m reasonsble, logical and understanding. Did y’all do half hour or longer speeches in college 1 to 2 times a week totally just from memory? Of course not. Get off these hosts backs. We do zero work and just listen so I’m thankful. Y’all sound entitled and rather ignorant.
-
finderssWish it had more flow with narrating -I personally would enjoy this podcast much more if recordings were more naturally read instead of seemingly fully scripted and sometimes poorly read, or not having a “flow”. The loud music in the background is also a little distracting. Good stories overall.
-
CTMW FanGood podcast butWhile I believe the podcast is good, why add audio that is hard to understand or hear!!! Please just tell the listener what was said.
-
Rural.lifeThank youI’ve always been interested in missing person stories since I was a young girl and learned of my great grandfather disappearance 30 years earlier. Thank you for all that you do I enjoy your show and the factual information you give.
-
Katya&SalemAwesome podcast, great work!I just found this podcast today and I’m SO glad. The host does stellar work researching these lesser-known cases and bringing them to a wider public. I have never heard of any of these cases! I know there are SO MANY missing persons across the US, so it’s incredible to see someone doing the hard work of bringing awareness to cases that need attention.
-
trcrmlvrGood content. Rough presentation.I appreciate the podcast’s mission of telling little known stories of missing persons. The presentation needs a lot of work, however. I’d advise the narrator to invest in voice lessons. Not to be negative, but she needs to up the professionalism of her speech, cadence and inflection. And a script writer could help with storytelling— it comes across as somewhat choppy and amateur. For example: You don’t need to speak the title of the segment. Music could help with transitions like those but it isn’t used effectively. Again, the effort is much appreciated but as the audience grows, the level of professionalism needs to as well.

DoctorJLGSolid podcast about the missingThis is one of my go-to true crime podcasts for binging. I like podcasts that are to the point, not too chatty. Short, standalone episodes that are well researched. This one fits the bill. Some have commented on the host’s odd cadence of speech — I agree that it is unusual, but after getting used to it, I don’t find it distracting or offputting. Everything is very clear.
-
Luckyme6212BingeworthyI love this podcast! I enjoy listening so much. Love the format, new and old cases, her voice, etc. Thank you!
-
LauraB615Great Podcast!Very good podcast. The host has a great voice and presents each case thoroughly and fairly. I’ve read many of the posted reviews and it seems some have picked apart the host needlessly. Stay true to yourself and carry on as you have. Your presentation and your voice is what keeps bringing us back!

Jersey Girl in VermontVery good!I really like the format of this podcast. Host is excellent, I really like listening. Sometimes I think I’am obsessed with the missing.
-
GreeenpopLove the show!!Its a great podcast, binge worthy in fact. I found it looking for something to binge over the holidays. This ones a winner. She does a great job!!

purple rainbootsRhythm of speechAudio is good, content is good . Voice itself is good. Cadence of speech is choppy. Tone of host is often raised mid sentence or when it’s not a question. Odd pauses mid sentence with unnatural inflection. Makes it difficult to follow the story as speech patterns are not conducive to being understood. So distracting that despite good stories, I’m not interested in listening. I read through several reviews and noticed that many reviewers have commented on this, it has been going on for quite some time, not sure why the host doesn’t address the situation.

CeeBee16Work on InflectionI like the information and research. But the inflection is strange. I’d recommend working with a vocal coach or taking some acting classes to help with it. You’re over a year in so it’s not chalked up to nervousness. There are also a lot of strange pauses in the podcast to separate sections. I’d recommend having song or a sound to fill these gaps because almost every time it happens I have to check to see if the podcast is still playing. You could have a 5 star podcast if you really put in the effort to fix those 2 things.
-
Reluctant EmpathCouldn’t get past 5 minutesThe background music is too loud and the cadence is hard to concentrate on. I really want to listen to it, but it’s difficult.
-
truecrimebffpodcastGreat podcast!Love your podcast- have been a listener for a while now. Also wanted to say it was YOUR ad/promo for Spotify for Podcasters that have me that final push I needed to do it myself! Keep up the good work!
-
BaffldovritBoring DeliveryAnother podcaster whose delivery is annoyingly singsong. The content is eclipsed by the amateurish reading of the script. Another sixth-grade book report.
-
Mel7295Tough to listenI really wanted to like this podcast. The stories sound well researched and written (I tried starting a couple of them). The cadence and inflection is just…wrong. It makes it sooo difficult to stay engaged and interested. The sound of the host’s voice is pleasant enough, it’s just the actual delivery that is unbearable. Maybe time with a “coach” of some kind would make this a podcast not to miss!
-
Glitter or GoldThank you for sharing under-reported casesI’m surprised I didn’t find this podcast sooner. She has a nice voice and doesn’t go on about her own life, extra chit chat, etc
-
Durst98Some people shouldn’t make podcastsHalted delivery. Misplaced inflection in an attempt to create suspense. Very amateur. It does not matter what equipment or knowledge you may have, if there isn’t a true talent or affinity, don’t do it.
-
MNSandovalRobotic voiceHas potential, but I can’t get over the robotic voice. There is a difference between enunciating and talking… extremely… and… unbearably… slowly…
-
sammyannthNot my favoriteTried to listen but wasn’t able to gain a good concept of the case. The information provided was not given in a clear or direct way and was very vague. Maybe it’s just me but nothing about the story telling was attention grabbing and made me want to keep listening. Could be much better with some improvements.

ME and VWhy? Another podcast with good info and terrible delivery..I’m so disappointed!! Recently I find more podcasts that have a good story but the production end is AWFUL!! Stupid obvious remarks like “talking about missing cases helps bring them to light..”. Really? Also the woman’s voice is terrible. Her infliction is all over the place.. emphasis being put on the wrong words which I tried to ignore but totally annoying and amateurish. TO ALL PODCASTS PRODUCERS: The story is in the mystery. The disappearance in this case.. NOT ON YOUR OPINIONS OF THE CASE.. your opinions are UN-noteworthy!! Build a story.. give insight into the people involved and then share the story.. not difficult.

Tigerfly213Ayla ReynoldsThis is such a sad case! Thank you for bringing awareness to Ayla Reynolds and for donating funds to her justice fund! Much respect for this podcast

KemaceGood content, challenging narrationI like the stories in this podcast, and I want to really enjoy this podcast, but the rhythm of speech used in it is challenging to listen to. The sentences are not stated in a flowing manner; rather, there are a lot of awkward pauses, and it makes the podcast feel choppy and disjointed. I believe that the host is reading the information which isn’t inherently bad…but it is read without much inflection and doesn’t hold my attention the way I wish it would. I can tell that there is a lot of work put into this podcast, and, as I said, the content is good. I would just like to see the verbalization of the content be improved…then it would be a five-star for me.
-
JarshushHard to listen toPoor narration, many assumptions, won’t subscribe.
-
Crystallion863I wanted to like this so much but…I love the content of the podcast but after listening to a few episodes i realized I can’t handle the way the lady talks. She sounds like she’s reading from a book or something .
-
ddrileyLove this podcastI love that the host covers stories that are not well known. She is bringing awareness to stories that would not normally get any attention. Love the stories, the host’s voice is very comforting and not boring as in some I listen to.
-
lizlo456Bad Host IntonationDifficult to listen to the information because of the host’s intonation. This seems very important when hosting an audio only show.
-
Jayme418Judith Chartier recovered.Just found your podcast after searching Judith Chatiers case since she was just found in her car in the concord river. Your the only podcast to cover her and you did a great job. I’m glad that she has been recovered. And looking forward to catching up on your other episodes.
-
2020BHCNot goodRambling, unfocused. Spends 1/3 of time on advertisements and off-topic rants.
-
Charleo23RepetitiveIt seems like this podcast copies cases of other missing person podcasts. Ridiculous! Also horrible music!
-
BearGoose1950Elaine ParkYa should update your episode - do some good for a missing girl
-
