Eli compassionately delves deep into each of the people he interviews. Due to such, interviews are dynamic, packed with information.

I’m not such a big podcast guy, but each one of these podcasts provides such great personal insights into what people go through and how they are able to overcome adversity. Rabbi Portal does such a wonderful job selecting people and topics, as well as interviewing with such poise and cordiality. Looking forward to future podcasts.

What a great podcast to listen to. The guests and stories range widely but all are incredible in their own way and really both inspire me and make me stop and think about my own challenges and triumphs. Would highly recommend for any audience!

I am a physical therapist in the school system. The episode with Mrs Michal Horowitz inspired me to advocate for a first grader student that I treat to have a classroom with better sound absorbing mechanisms to be built for her. In the zchus of this podcast, hopefully this first grader and others will have more happy and productive experiences at school.

Eli was so great to work with! He puts a lot of heart and care into every moment of the process for what it takes to release an episode. Every step is well thought out and presented in a way that moves you! I recommend this podcast for those that want to hear heartfelt stories of personal struggles and most importantly resilience. Eli is a great host, injecting warmth, humor and his therapist skill but mostly allowing the guest to express his or her own challenge in a personal way. Our current epoch focuses, in my opinion, on too many shiny populist faux challenges that are “overcome” and we’ve lost sight of the many personal struggles that do not fit the present zeitgeist. It’s actually incredible that we personally know so many people going through challenges similar to these guests and yet there are so few channels dealing with these issues. Kudos to Eli and continued strength to him and his guests.

I have had a spinal cord injury going on 40 years. Listening to these young men articulating the multifaceted challenges presented and how they respond to those challenges I can say they got it right. Their perspectives are instructive to anyone, with or without an injury, who is dealing with trauma or physical limitations.
