Ags252Some helpful informationOverall I appreciate all the topics this podcast covers. As an OTR/L looking to expand into the feeding world, this was a good starting point. That being said, for being an evidenced-based. podcasts, the hosts more frequently talk about their opinions and experiences with limited EBP. Definitely geared towards SLPs, I have to research a lot of the lingo after due to limited or no explanation during the podcast. I appreciate the case studies, but again, limited EBP explained during those.

trans rights r human rightsParadigm shiftI’m a parent of a 15 year old with ARFID, and the episode with Lauren Sharifi was a freaking revelation. Lauren’s perspective is the key I’ve been searching for for over a decade and this conversation was the most helpful and hopeful discussion of this ED that I have ever heard. Thank you.

molzraeWell rounded feeding podcastThis podcast is so great if you work with feeding clients or have interest in feeding/dysphagia! Bri approaches feeding in a whole child and family approach that constantly helps me think of all the factors that go into pediatric feeding issues.

biancaslpaIf you’re obsessed with all things feeding and swallowing....Then add this to your list of favorite podcasts. I love how the cohosts invite people from multiple disciplines to bring in the different “pieces” to the feeding and swallowing intervention “puzzle”! We need more people to be honest about their experiences. We need more people to provide usable resources and share evidence based techniques and approaches to help treat our patients with PFDs. We need more people who put patients and families first and don’t prescribe some cookie cutter model to feeding therapy. Because there is no “right way” or “only way” to feeding and swallowing intervention 💗

BCtheSLPKeep it up!I have had the privilege of learning to be an SLP alongside co-host Brianna Miluk! Her passion for her patients and pediatric feeding disorders is evident in any professional conversation you have with her. I’m thrilled she has jumped into so many various platforms and used her abilities to network, advocate, and educate for pediatric patients struggling with a variety of pediatric feeding disorders. These podcasts provide bursts of applicable information and pose thoughts that can influence one’s practice for the better. Keep it up, Bri! Let your gift shine- there’s so many learning from you :)

honkytonkywomanA MUST for new moms/aunts/caregiversI’m an Aunt for the first time in my life to 3 beautiful kids. One sweet baby boy and another spunky fella with special needs. This podcast alone has been eye opening for me into the world of food for the both of them. Highly educational and a great resource for inexperienced adults such as myself. These two ladies have a great way of informing you about real life situations based off their own experiences and backed with fact based evidence. Keep up the good work!

Definitely a must listen!

madelinecochran12345ACTUALLY EXPERIENCED, HARD WORKERS PROVIDING EDUCATIONThis podcast is what ever SLP needs! I have been following Brianna for years along her work as a SLP in pediatric feeding. I saw someone mentioned that Brianna and Olivia have less than 5 years experience, and I’m not sure why that matters? Sure, they are somewhat newer to the field, but they are educated. They put tons of hours of hard work & RESEARCH into their work. I don’t see that person leaving a bad review doing any beneficial podcasts? I’m not sure what that other review is about but clearly it is out of spite. Any SLP or even OT that is dedicated to their practice will appreciate this amazing podcast and even Briannas instagram.

MarissakaiChallenging the status quo of PDF care - love it!Great podcast for those wanting to learn more about pediatric feeding disorders! The combo of an SLP and RD is the best way to learn more about multi-disciplinary approaches to treating PFDs. Their energy and effort they put into providing evidence-based content is really appreciated. Best podcast for PFDs!

TheFongMisrepresentation of skill setsWhile I encourage young professionals and fellow colleagues to expand their clinical knowledge, this podcast is two young professionals with less than 5 years experience collectively toting themselves as “subject matter experts.” Their inexperience shows in their clinical discussions on the podcast that use limited evidence and are clearly based on minimal outpatient experience. Further, when co-host, Brianna, is challenged on social media about posts that have limited evidence she blocks users and deletes comments. If you can’t explain why you do what you do then maybe you shouldn’t do it. Don’t waste your time or money on this non-ASHA approved course. Go to ASHA’s practice portal to get real evidence based information from informed, experienced, and kind colleagues open to a dialogue for changing pediatric feeding.
