Long time fan of Team J-LO. What happened to his fashion stylist and best friend Lo? My husband and I discovered Jason and Trading Secrets after listening to several episodes of them podcasting together on ”The Lo Life” podcast. The chemistry and banter between Lo and Jason was amazing! Laughter is the best medicine and the J-Lo convos and content are my absolute favorite to this day. I still listen to both of your podcast shows, but I wish Lo would come back on Trading Secrets again! Bring him back 🙏 Dream reunion with spicy Lo. Ya’ll were so close and the bromance was the best! It’s obvious that Kaitlyn was very jealous and resented that they were so close for years. Lo even flew to Nashville to help Jason move and decorate his place. That’s a really good friend! I think that’s why Kaitlyn was so nasty and mean to Lo, but she always seemed like a miserable person anyway. I am hopeful you guys will have a reunion. That friendship seemed very genuine, special and rare. J-Lo is my Roman Empire. We would all love for Lo to come back on Trading Secrets and “Retired Management with J daddy” again 🤣❤️ We want the laughs, banter and JLO heartfelt convos. Lo always brought out a very fun, playful side of Jason that we miss.

I recently have found your podcast and I love the knowledge that you bring for finances and budgeting! I may have missed the episode but my question is - do you pay down a credit card with more money on it or do you pay your lower amount first? Both having high interest rates. As someone new to the investment world, I became a new listener and I love listening on my to and from work. It’s informative and educational and entertaining all in one!

I like most of the episodes but Tarek El Mousa’s arrogant, bombastic rant was tone deaf. Hearing him brag about taking advantage of homeowners who have distressed properties after floods and calling it a brilliant business idea while also throwing shade at people who work for a living was disgusting. Recently, Governor Newsom issued an executive order barring predatory investors such as El Mousa from making undervalued offers to families impacted by the LA firestorms, taking advantage of them by offering fast cash. I am an avid home flipper in the Atlanta area and I’ve been pretty successful. However, there are a lot of things that Tarek pointed out that have happened to me in the recent past (decreasing home values, poor craftsmanship, etc). This podcast was awesome because I’ve been toying with wholesaling. His tips were invaluable and I look forward to using his recommended techniques.

Was he on coke or something? That episode was unhinged, tone deaf, and unlistenable. He literally brags about how he looks for distressed buyers to take advantage of. I’m out.

Used to love listening to people from different and real industries. All we are getting these days is reality stars and influencers- which is fine, Im sure its great for downloads, its just not what I think the podcast set out to be. I also miss the intros and recaps. This podcast just doesn’t seem to know what it wants to be. Learning influencers numbers doesn’t really help me in my daily life. The podcast used to seem to aim to help folks out- would be useful especially during the times we are in.

ETA please, please bring back the intros and recaps! Podcast is not the same without them. Like a lot of others in these reviews, I knew and loved Jason from his time on The Bachelor. I was excited to listen to his podcast, but did not expect to love it as much as I do. It’s fascinating, interesting, and educational — a great blend of the juicy stuff you want to know from these guests and informative, helpful tips, and lessons in their businesses. Jason is engaging, pointed and well phrased in his questioning and conversations. I learn something new every week while being very entertained. The Lo Bosworth episode was my favorite to date as I have been a big fan of hers since the Laguna Beach days! I was very impressed by her interview; she came off incredibly intelligent and also so warm and engaging. I also enjoy the friendship and humor between Jason and the curious Canadian, I always listen all the way to end to hear their recaps. Love Trading Secrets!

Loved the Kelly Episode. Hate that she’s had to go through such a tough time. I hope good things come her way. Always liked her. But, super disappointed in David during the recap. The fact that he said having to wear a condom in marriage is grounds for a divorce. I’m sorry, but that’s disgusting and selfish. Women do not need to be the only ones responsible for preventing pregnancy and std’s. Birth control causes a lot more negative side effects and long term health issues than wearing a condom. Not sure I really want to listen to this show after this episode especially considering everything happening with women losing their reproductive rights.

Very informative, candid, insightful, thoughtful interview

Have been listening for over a year. I always love your episodes. I have heard you mention multiple times about getting personal finance into schools. I wonder if it is per state. I am a teacher and I know at my district in order to graduate students must take personal finance or an accounting class. I am shooting my shot- I have my masters in curriculum and instruction. Been a teacher for 10 years. If you are serious about building some type of financial literacy curriculum or getting it into schools that is something I am passionate about and would be very interested in. I’m sure there are many other teachers that would be too. We sometimes just don’t have the resources to get it going.

I always take away something from each Podcast! I love Jason’s questions and getting tips from the guests! I think Jason and Kelly would be a perfect match!

Like many, I’ve been a fan of Jason since his appearance on the Bachelorette. I was first exposed to his podcast from listening to Networth and Chill. I wish I would have known he had a podcast sooner! After hearing his podcast with Ramit Sethi, I was hooked. I’ve read multiple finance books and listen to a few finance podcasts, but this one is by far the most FUN. This podcast has a variety of content with an overall playful, classy tone. Love the silly sports references. Jason is great at taking complex topics and making them simple. I also can’t wait to read his upcoming book. Update: I still enjoy the podcast, but sometimes find it to go down weird and unproductive turns at the end. Prefer to not hear that condoms are a grounds for divorce, it feels like dumping reproductive responsibility on the woman (who already goes through enough between pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding/pumping). I get it was the edible, but it didn’t add anything to the substance of the podcast and felt ick. Plus that level of personal isn’t needed to have an open discussion about finance and business, unless you want to go down the costs of contraception and childcare? Maybe the motherhood tax? Vasectomies versus tubal ligation versus egg freezing? That would fit and maybe be more interesting. Bring on a reproductive specialist for that type of talk and I’d give back a star or two. 👍

Loved the episode-love Kelly- can relate with losing a parent around the same age as her. She has always been one of my faves from Bach nation. As David said she is just so normal. I love the interaction between you guys and the friendship. You support her journey with care and client or not there is something there. I’m down for the Hamptons house and betting on you guys. Jason the vulnerability is noticeable and your loosening the reigns. This looks good on you! Move to NYC and keep killing it!

Every single podcast I always have a take away. I learn something different each episodes. I love the weekly updates about what’s going on in the financial world. I love the personal life updates. BUT the best, is the recap with the curious Canadian.

I am not generally interested in financial conversations but this show is good. The fact that they actually say how much they are making and how much debt they have/had etc is so refreshing and interesting. Give it a shot! 🙃 @3daisychains

He leads the conversation is such a natural way. I always learn something from him and his guests, and love how it’s a mix of finance and pop culture. His finance background truly makes a difference. Podcast is awesome! I’ve been listening for a while now and have learned a lot. It’s a great blend of education with pop culture mixed. I find many of the stories so cool on how people have evolved and the behind the scenes info on how diff careers work and monetize. I even got my boss to listen to the Points guy episode and he was a fan!

Jason always has super entertaining guests and also gives great advice. I look forward to listening every week! One of my favorite episodes was the most recent one with Kelly. Her story is very relatable and I loved learning more about her! Keep it up, Jason!

Relatable podcast with a lot of sound advice that’s translatable for everyone. In the sea of podcast, Trading Secrets offers valuable insights from various business perspectives. I love the RV content! It’s so interesting and I love John’s music. I think that David is right about the Sahil episode. I was skeptical of a lot of things he was saying too.

Long time listener and I believe Jason is one of the most talented interviewers in podcasts today. He makes all episodes entertaining and relatable - even for guests that I wouldn’t normally be interested in listening to. Unique show amongst so many podcasts today. And the recaps at the end of the show are fun and keep getting better and better!

As someone who has listened to almost all of the Trading Secrets episodes, this one with Sahil Bloom is at the top of my favorites list. It was super informative and easy to follow, with so many practical takeaways I can actually put into practice. He broke down the “five types of wealth” in a way that really makes you think beyond just money, and his insights on work-life balance, income streams (including making seven figures from a newsletter!), and the behind-the-scenes of his book were eye-opening. The Chris Voss episode is still my all time favorite and is one you’ll want to listen to twice. I’ve never revisited a podcast before, but this episode has take away, after take away, after take away! Thank you Jason and team for bringing us such amazing guests! Get an RV & a dog!!!

Have always loved this podcast (have listened from the beginning!!) but travel for work and am especially passionate about travel so loved your episode with Brian Kelly. My biggest takeaway was that I do not need a united CC (I’ve been thinking about it) and rather sticking with my Amex platinum will get my the best bang for my buck. Also love booking a backup flight on points! I didn’t know you could cancel so easily! I would love Brian’s books for more tips and tricks. IG handle is nancygfarr!
