Only found looking for Furiosa specific episodes, but is the schtick not knowing much re: films and just rabbiting on about, something? I was fifteen living on the Northern Beaches when 1979 was released and it’s my most loved franchise, by a long way. Perhaps younger Australians (don’t know their ages) aren’t nearly as connected to them and informed, because they seemed “pretty vacant,” overall. Not sure this style is for me as they’d have to be very compelling whilst not being cinephiles, but five stars, so far, as it wouldn’t be fair otherwise based on only one episode. One of their favorite moments, I’ll explain: “Lady and gentlemen, start your engines!” Nothing to do with “Furiosa.” When “Dementus” has the contest for the twenty odd bikers to join the gang, but only five bikes available one of them is clearly shown to be a woman (“Mr. Norton”), albeit with part of her mouth/lips missing so her teeth are permanently bared, and she ultimately is one of the five remaining, hence the announcement. Even more awesome is it’s the same actor, Elsa Pataky (Chris H’s spouse), who is the “Vulvilini General,” the blonde haired woman who touches foreheads with “Mary Jabassa,” then goes back to the Green Place of Many Mothers and “Mary” chases the kidnappers.

In the description of the based reaction of madame web they misspelled buffoon, which is impressive because that word really describes these guys.

Do you wanna look like you’re listening to a podcast about movies when in reality you’re having the most heinous and deranged conversations that have ever been shared between people blasted directly into your head? This podcast is for you. I have listened to episodes where the film in the title make up about eight minutes of the actual podcast and the rest is the host talking about personal events in grossly specific detail that you have to somewhat respect because it takes a shameless sort to feel completely ok revealing this stuff on the internet. Five stars, the best movie podcast to listen if you’re repulsed on a physical and spiritual level at the idea of a film.

A lot of podcasts, especially geek centric one are choppy and uneven. These guys keep the flow steady, have an easy going vibe and seem to really be enjoying themselves. Which make the show enjoyable to listen to. I just subscribed and look forward to more baseless speculation in 2024.

These fellas know the industry better than anyone and everyone. This podcast soothes me from the terrible memories of 9/11.

The Godzilla x Kong ep is the type of thing that really makes you question your taste. 5 stars

I really love how these boys never comment on politics or the state of the world, or religion! They know their lane and they stick to it with episodes that never stray from their topic.

I don’t listen to this podcast because of the comedic timing of its hosts but because the knowledge dispensed from these good Boyz is so good that it cannot be ignored. Only a true intellect can fully grasp the predictions and bingo cards at hand, they’ve never made a wrong prediction and everyone who listens will truly know the truth.

These guys just yell into the mic with no real format behind episodes tbh. I wouldn’t mind the obnoxious yelling if they actually knew the subjects they were speaking on. If you like “Aussie dudes just being dudes” and people just rambling about unrelated stuff, then this is the pod for you.

Baseless speculations are tangent filled shots in the dark that are either frighteningly accurate when they shouldn’t be or wildly dumbfounding guesses. We need more baseless reactions where they react to movies they haven’t seen or based speculations where they predict what happens in movies they have seen though.
