sarahallthenicknamesaretaken!Refreshing, Mostly InterestingI read her book and was happy to see she had a podcast too. The podcast is geared more toward industry people, but I appreciate her candor, humor, and critical thinking in an area where many people have religious fervor for specific trends. But because she has a consultant take, many of her topics don’t directly relate to my life. She explicitly asks everyone to leave “a five star review—just see how it feels” which irked me. Don’t treat your audience like brainless minions. We all have to deal with honest feedback in life. Good luck hermetically sealing yourself off. But despite my annoyance, I will give it 4 stars. “Just see how it feels.”

grateful-MaWorthwhile for consumers, too!Don’t think this is just for health professionals or entrepreneurs: Jaclyn offers loads of valuable information and helpful tips for consumers as well. She is super smart and has a gift for summarizing the research. Her energy is motivating, like a skillful coach.

JohnJohnGinger E.Reliable, entertaining, interesting, and informative!!This is a fantastic podcast that I HIGHLY recommend across the board! Jaclyn is very knowledgeable and presents information and pushes aside modern day silly “diet”/“wellness” fads with science backed facts…in a very funny and blunt way. She’s fun to listen to, wide-ranging, and always entertaining.

OWENC2003Broken recordI feel like a broken record, but why isn’t this woman world famous?? Why doesn’t she have millions of followers of social media?? She’s so funny, relatable, and employs a common sense approach to food, lifestyle, mindset, etc. I am a huge fan and enjoy her content in all forms. Keep up the great work, Jaclyn!

PeteG4825Fantastic episode with your sister!Enjoyed ep No. 25 with your sister Stacy! Stacy is doing great work talking about/destigmatizing menopause. And the food conversation ... too funny! Your unstinting look at the Hostess-Drakes competition in the 1970s was spot-on, and I could picture your dad workin' the Pop Tarts in the toaster oven! Good fun plus solid information is always a win-win!

MLP579HilariousFINALLY! I feel like I’ve been waiting for a pod like this for awhile now. Tons of practitioners with podcasts in therapy but none in the nutrition-counseling space that are credible and fun to listen to! Information is up-to-date and science-based but not judge-y or preach-y in any way. Loving all of these guests so far, too. Keep up the great stuff!

pugs rule/ matthias rules toPowerful Podcast!!!!Jackie London’s powerful podcast, “On The Side,” is uniquely spectacular and spectacularly unique! Jackie brings to this podcast tremendous knowledge, humor, charisma, and creativity. Through creative comedy, this podcast captures the universality not only of food itself, but also that of the eating experience. Each and every episode entertains, educates, snd enlightens!
