sophiaclutterFavorite podcastI love this podcast so much and recommend it to everyone. I'm obsessed with Ramit's talent at uncovering the psychology of why people interact with money the way they do. I also love his practical advice and apply it with my own finances. He makes becoming financially literate seem so much easier. I'm a loyal subscriber - I tune in weekly to listen, have bought his books, and have watched his Netflix show. I love this content!

Jln way I see itDisappointing latelyI used to look forward to this show each week but the live shows are disappointing and I never make it through a whole episode. Unfocused, excessively quippy. I miss the studio version. Live experience may be great but doesn’t translate on podcast. Please stop.

gbarrett123Great Thoughtful InfoRamit does an excellent job listening to couples without judgement. He also works to simplify money concepts for the everyday listener. Excellent podcast for driving, exercising, or doing around the house activities. Thank you Ramit!

Abigail JungeThe podcast I’ve always wanted!Wow! I read Ramit’s book over a decade ago in my 20s and loved it. I recently found his podcast and I can’t get enough! This is exactly the kind of podcast I’ve always wanted. When I get the chance, I try to watch the episodes on his website which is even better. Ramit is incredible at what he does for these couples- not sure if he has had training as a counselor or not but he acts as part therapist part financial/life advisor and has a unique and powerful approach. I also really enjoy his funny and ‘saying how it is’ style especially when he throws in some needed swearing. I have been telling everyone about his podcast and highly recommend it!

Jessy the wonderfulThe Most Comprehensive Personal Finance ShowRamit, You have accomplished something in the personal finance podcast scene that no one else has. I love the in depth discussion about numbers while also incorporating money psychology. As a 23 year old, I’d love to see younger couples (I dream of being on the show, I have filled out my CSP and read your first book!) represented on the show more. Awesome podcast; it’s my favorite one in my queue.

jt 0509The BEST (but)The best podcast out there! I’ve relistened to every episode 2-3 times. However, over the past maybe 6 months I’ve been finding myself having to pause or stop an episode entirely. I feel like Ramit has been kind of negative/hard on guests. Idk if it’s just me or the episodes are changing. Could use some more empathy as not everyone is educated on money.
-
BTC-BKThank youThis podcast has been extremely helpful in working on my relationship with money.

MinimalMama11Used to be a fanHe’s so political which is where he is losing me and probably other listeners. We don’t want politics shoved down our throats at all opportunities. His principals are good but I just can’t stand all the politics. Mostly on his Instagram page but I’m not listening here anymore either.

holden112Juicier than Esther PerelUpdated 4/25: based on how much I’ve learned from Ramit’s teachings, we’ve launched a whole CLASS at Georgetown U, for first gen students specifically (!), on this topic - with of course homework to listen to specific episodes! Ramit, you’ve changed my life!! - - - - - - Told my friends this was even spicier than regular couples’ counseling and got several follow up texts saying how much they loved it. Even got my boyfriend into it!
-
Honestly2000No longer relatableThis used to be my favorite financial podcast. It’s gotten less and less relatable. Between the incredibly high salaries of couples and Ramit’s rants about political opinions and ridiculous stereotypes, it’s no longer relatable. Unfollow ✅

mrlan888Entertaining but flawedThe stories of the real people are very interesting and sometimes the host is entertaining. The problem is he is far too rigid with his framework, which mainly exists to sell his other stuff and sometimes leaves him down the wrong path with his assessments and prescriptions. In the most recent episode he was haranguing a mother about her priorities for her child. The host isn’t even a parent and therefore has a very limited concept of this dynamic.
-
FinancemythsGet therapy insteadThis should not take the place of financial therapy, or therapy in general. It’s entertaining and insightful sure. But Ramit is not a social worker or a psychological. If you’re drawn to this because you might need help, seek a professional not an influencer.

KUfan96Great listen! A-Ramit has great insights and helps couples in all sorts of situations cut through all the junk to simplify their money issues. While he has a few missteps that indicate he’s living in a bit of a bubble (“What’s a shed?” “What’s YouTube TV?” And most egregiously, categorizing childcare as NOT a fixed expense?!?!), he is a really good processor of people’s words into what their emotions are behind them. Everyone can benefit from listening, no matter how much money you have!
-
SortofwriterMy favorite podcastI am constantly amazed at how good Ramit is at this. So compassionate and yet honest and forthright with people. I think he would have been a good therapist! Look forward to this show every week at a time when I can’t stand to listen to my political podcasts. Thanks, Ramit!

Shopaholic $$$I can relate to this coupleI’m going through the same thing not charging what I’m worth as a hairstylist. I don’t have a savings, I pay all of my bills pay check by paycheck. My business is not profitable so I’m always making arrangements to pay bills. I’m so sick and tired of living this way. This show is giving me hope.
-
montyminutesIn a league of its own — AMAZING!Ramit is an incredible teacher/writer/entertainer. This is one of the best podcasts I listen to regularly, and his book/podcast/youtube has been so helpful for me as I begin developing my financial system (I’m in my first year post-grad). Cannot recommend enough!
-
kwray98Very informative and never sensationalizedI like this podcast because you can tell he truly cares about helping people and doesn’t sensationalize or degrade his guests for clicks. It can be fun to make fun of people making stupid financial decisions, but it’s better to come from a place of care and education.
-
ACM215Political rants don’t endRamits podcast used to be my absolute favorite. Now he has turned into a political hack. He is only interested in digs at the new administration. I wish he would stop the political bashing and go back to what made his podcast amazing - helping couples with their money.
-
AJ in PhillyLong time listenerBeen listening to Ramit every week for a few years now, since the Netflix show. Great balance of relatable situations, entertainment, helpful advice. His idea of a "rich life" reshapes the way we think about money and how we allocate it in a realistic way throughout our lives. You can see the updates they constantly make to the show over the years for the better. Keep up the great work Ramit and team!

ElleEmEnOFavorite podcastI am addicted to this podcast… It has changed entirely how I handle my finances and I find it’s very helpful for keeping my mindset about my financial goals where it should be.
-
effervescentdocEntertaining showI have enjoyed many of these episodes. I love his approach towards teaching people how to spend their money (versus purely focused on saving). I would give it 5 stars were it not for his frequent political digs. He seeks to be ok with alienating a large part of the population. I hope he will get back to his core so he can have a positive impact on more people.

Just a Mom/WifeBest AdviceReasonable & positive way to take control of one’s finances. Life changing for sure!

Brea_ZWill become your favorite podcastThis podcast is a game changer! I’ve learned so much from Ramit, his, methodology and his guests. Cheers to living your rich life!

Savannah HerlandEvery. Single. Episode.I found Ramit via Money with Katie. I’ve now listened to every single episode made. I look forward to each episode drop. I was raised on Ramsey, but I’m moving forward Ramit. Incredible mental health shifts have been possible for me in transitioning from scarcity to “rich life”. It’s not about consumption. It’s not just for rich people. And you know I live for a Ramit Sethi rant… Fav episode lately was the couple that didn’t have their numbers together enough originally, so they had to come back to the table. I would love more two part “series” type work with people over time! Thanks for the lessons, the compassion, and teaching me to joyfully pay my taxes and tip well!

EmybananaLife ChangingIf you commit to watching/ listening to this podcast it will change your life. I first watched Ramit’s Netflix show and it made me want to take action. I read his book and made changes in my finances. Then I started listening to the podcast and through watching other people’s stories I was able to identify the stories I told myself about money. I was able to reflect on my money psychology and rewrite my invisible scripts about money. I recommend Ramit’s content to everyone, no matter where you are in your financial journey.

RayvehnHighlight of our Tuesday! Most accurate rating: 4.5 stars. My husband and I LOVE this podcast! We queue up episodes for long road trips, daily errands, when we’re getting ready for date night - we’re fiends! We learn something from every episode, whether the couple is higher or lower SES. I also read I Will Teach You To Be Rich, and it was truly refreshing approach finances in a way that honors the psychology behind money and the origin stories of our feelings towards money (first-gen Carribbean child of an accountant here). My ONE qualm/request is for more “normal” (for lack of a better word) Black couples. By just listening to audio alone, I think there have been less than 10 couples (I didn’t count),and of the two most memorable, one guy was trying to justify a credit card scam and the other couple sadly fulfilled what many consider a “classic Black poverty mentality” stereotype. I learned from these episodes as well! It would be cool, however, to hear from an average Joe, middle to upper middle class Black couple and see their unique challenges. I have a doctorate degree, my husband has a master’s degree, and I feel like we’re “doing all the things” (saving for retirement, investing, emergency fund, sinking funds, we have a rich life bucket list lol), and yet student loans still hold us back. With Black women being the most educated group in the country today, I’m sure many families share this narrative. Would love some unique advice for doctors/families whose parents were working class! But I’ll keep listening regardless because this podcast is great :)

Emeraldeyes13Amazing EducationalI love Ramit’s show so much. I have really learned a lot. Being able to hear the stories and experiences of different people from different backgrounds is so important. I only wish we had someone like Ramit for people like me who keep their finances completely separate from their partner and have a completely different financial profile from their partner.
-
Big gamersI Heart Ramit!UPDATE: I went to leave a review and found this. I’m happy to say we now share our accounts, thanks to Ramit! Finding his information has been one of the most transformative things I’ve experienced. Thank you! I love this podcast! I’ve learned so much about money psychology and it has helped me to question my own beliefs about money. My husband and I have very different money backgrounds and after 11 years married still have separate accounts. I’ve taken what Ramit teaches to approach my husband to begin fostering a more transparent financial relationship going forward. Ramit’s book and podcast have been pivotal in this process and I am so thankful.

NonokayEvery couple needs to listenBest finance podcast out there. Love Ramit’s energy & calm presence. Amazing tool to improve your awareness & communication with your partner. Love the diversity and would love to hear more episodes of couples in middle / lower class communities.

ealshe.chiromomMy weekly favoriteI really love this show!! I find it to be my weekly jam! Ramit provides a lot of realistic and applicable recommendations. I DO cringe at the times he encourages people to ditch chiropractic care…. BECAUSE individuals who utilize this form of health care tend to spend WAY less on medical bills & sick care costs. So much so that there’s actually a lot of phenomenal research out there that we use to encourage corporations to offer chiropractic services for their employees. So Ramit, if you read this …look into it and look at it like ‘investing’ proactively into health to cut future medical expenses and time off from work (Back pain/injury is one of the top reasons people ask for time off work ;) ). I’m incredibly biased of course but I love this show !!! Thanks!
-
MvehrsLife Changer!Must must listen! Music to my money-goal-ears every week. Ramit, the books, the podcast and the IWT team has been bringing the best direction and encouragement to my money management for the last three years. Psychology and Money at its finest. Thank you!
-
jlschmodThis Show Has Changed Everything!I had started Ramit’s book when I found the podcast. My husband and I just always felt like we made a lot of money but we loved paycheck to paycheck and kept dipping into savings because we overspent each month. We tried different things, but nothing worked. We started listening to the pod together, and saw ourselves in some of the guests and were able to see where we could make meaningful changes. We now have a CSP and monthly finance meetings and are finally feeling confident in our finances!

shxdkpkc3Love itI love you show ramit. I have follow you since your show on Netflix (I wish that came back!) but I also love this one too !!
-
DP_1979I love this show!Ramit, you are the best, I love the way you combine the psychology of money with the practical- I learn so much by just listening to your podcast- even the REALLY wealthy people are relatable as they Venmo each other LOL!! I want to buy your book but I am on the list at the library (I have my own frugal tendencies) that I am trying to work through. Again, keep making content, it is so great!

New Jack CityI’m loving my rich lifeI discovered ramit on his Netflix show then started listening to the podcast. I love that he seems normal and approachable and it seems like he really does want to help the couples succeeded, and you can hear when the paradigm shift happens. I took his advice and created a high-yield savings account just for traveling, which is my passion. I saved double what I thought the trip was going to entail and now I have been living off my savings for the past three months while traveling through Mexico. I really think because of his podcast I’m able to tell my money where to go. And to discover what I’m truly passionate about.
-
DrewBC88Always worth the listen!!!Seriously great content! As a person always looking to make minor adjustments and best optimize, every episode leaves me with a nugget to implement or think about.
-
Charlie_Mimi5 stars all the wayI absolutely love this podcast. I never miss an episode. Ramit has changed the way I think about money and the life I want.
-
Jane4608Love watching this!Informative and demonstrates the role emotions and upbringing play in our money habits.
-
ABCB1225Enjoyable and educationalI really enjoy listening to the couples share about their money psychology and get deeper into understanding their feelings/behavior about money. Ramit does a great job being curious and helping couples notice their patterns and the money culture they co-create. I work as a couples therapist and also use similar techniques to help couples understand and communicate more effectively. I always have to watch for my counter transference and why I enjoy/dread working with a couple. I don’t know if that’s what happened in the episode with Eliza and Matt. I stopped listening after it felt like they were a lost cause versus an eager couple that wanted to understand their money psychology with Ramit. Maybe there is financial trauma? Low self-worth? We will never know why this couple could not spend on pleasures for themselves. I will continue to listen but hope Ramit can be more aware of his own biases.
-
AbbieloneSingle, medium earner and still love it!I love this podcast- I listen every Tuesday and look forward to it. And while I’m single with a medium income I have learned so much from listening to Ramit coach the couples-especially about attitudes and beliefs towards money, and thinking bigger about what I want my rich life to be. (One day I hope he coaches singles so I can apply!)
-
c stoltzfusStraight shooter!I love listening to Ramit. He’s real and does not sugar coat things. I enjoy that he tells you how to spend your money on the important things and not just focus on investing and saving all the time. I like the variety of couples and backgrounds that are on the show. I was disappointed one time when he called our Republicans. I don’t want the show to be political. I’m a Republican and still enjoy your show- we are not all bad🤷♀️
-
Lisa’s ready to retireMore shows on retirement pleaseI love listening to this show. I find it is really helpful if you are at the beginning of your career rather than at the end. I just wish there were more couples who were ready to retire and there was more information about how to navigate retirement.

0_snapWe’re buying a vacation home! Two years ago, I feel insecure about our money, “shoulding” all over myself about how I haven’t achieved [fill in the blank financial goal by the time I turned 40]. Ramit helped me to get confident with money and his CSP has helped us to realize some really big goals in a relatively small amount of time. We figured out we can actually swing a second home in our dream location and will have a pathway to realize our Rich Life early enough to enjoy it with friends and family. Listen to Ramit! Do your CSP and fire up YNAB and you’ll reach your goals faster than you’d ever dreamed!

KDarlingJrFinding Ramit has been a GAME CHANGER!I wish I had found Ramit and his book long before now but definitely better late than never. His original book has been a complete game changer for me (41) and my husband (45) and we now automate our finances (bills, savings, and investments), and have begun living our rich life (i.e. DoorDash when we want it, laundry service every week, housekeeping twice per month, childcare on Sundays and for a monthly date night). We talk about money with ease, have a dedicated monthly money meeting, and I enjoy listening to this podcast to reinforce our learning and keep us motivated to keep striving towards our goals. I am now listening to the Money for Couples audiobook and I have recommended Ramit and his teachings to friends, family, honestly anyone who will listen! This is knowledge that we should all have, starting in our formidable years and we intend to empower our 3 children with this financial literacy early on. Thank you, Ramit, for sharing your knowledge with the world and helping us attain our goals of a rich life!
-
Texas_5Too basicFocuses mostly on very basic financial situations and largely ignores higher net worth couples.
-
J.As.Great approach, but income levels are unrelatableAs a psychologist, I enjoy how Ramit approaches money beliefs, facilitates conversations between couples, and styles his show with the cuts where he adds notes in later. However, even as a psychologist recently making a household income of $140k, I find the income levels of the couples completely unrelatable because they are so high. The rare ones that are close to my income are still so disconnected with incredibly low mortgages, no child care costs, and other factors that mean they have so much more free money than the typical person. I have no debt besides my small mortgage and still can’t free up as much money as these rich couples who are saddled with credit card debt. Please have more shows with incomes around the 60-160 range.
-
Em-Jay83My Favorite PodcastThis is the only podcast that I eagerly listen to the same day it comes out. Ramit is compassionate AND real. He doesn’t skirt around tough issues, and he shares real numbers. I’ve learned so much from him. Highly recommend!
-
painted_deerMoney for LOADED couplesI like Ramit’s attitude toward managing finances and how he handles the show. It’s interesting with cuts and narrating. I wish he would adjust his demographic to represent more younger couples and those with an income at $100k or less. The rebrand from “I will teach you to be rich” to “money for couples” feels misleading, given how absurdly wealthy the majority of these anxious millionaire couples are.
-
DogsleighLow /medium incomeCan you do a show with a couple that makes between $40,000-$100,000? I love this show. Just recently started listening to, so maybe you have already done this. Just want to hear something more relatable.
-
Today9Total mindset shiftI have listened to every single episode - I learned so much. I have cut out *thousands* of dollars we were spending each year on services/products that were not serving us! We are investing more and it’s given me a frame work to discuss finances freely with my husband. I also used the method on my mother’s fixed income and saved her almost $2k yearly.
