Gimmy_The_GreatIf you want the homers take. And to hear how everyone but her is an idiot. This is the pod for you!
-
BronyPowerHuh……🤔I love his insights and his knowledge of the team and basketball in general. A couple things that drive me crazy is sometimes the volume is low then there’s a burst of loudness so I have to work the volume knob as I listen. Also soooooo many huh’s and uhm’s hard to listen too but the show is good enough to put up with it.

Lyss_22EnjoyAs a big blazer fan, I thoroughly enjoy this pod and the honesty and insight provided by Danny. And also, could he talk any faster? 😅 sometimes in reading the emails it feels like my speed is on 2x, he talks so fast. Just a little feedback! Otherwise, love the pod!
-
glinn07Rad PodExcellent in depth coverage of what's and especially WHY things are happening with the Blazers
-
abcumminsGreat Podcast - speak up, DannyLove this podcast! My only criticism is that Danny often talks quiet and is hard to hear. It is like his and Sprague’s mics are at different levels. Very noticeable on the latest episode.
-
Shevek2020Focus on basketball!I really like Sprague but Marang is unbearable. I don’t know why he constantly needs to talk himself up. He’s always talking about he’s right or so well sourced when everything he is talking about can be found online already. He has the maturity of a 16 year old.
-
SthorpeSolid substance - please don’t ever stop this pod! These guys have great chemistry and are a must listen. Only gripe is I wish they had more episodes!
-
Sportdue55Audio issuesHow are you guys like 40 episodes in and you haven’t balanced the audio levels. It’s really not that hard to do.
-
David DeadheadBest Blazer PodMarang and Sprague bring their radio professionalism to a “basement armchair GM” type of podcast. Their takes are great because they actually interview players and key staff and have access to the blazers behind the scenes; then they wrap it up into an easily digestible pod that feels like an informal conversation with some friends after a game. The banter between them (like whether or not mint chocolate ice cream is good) does not disappoint.

ThreeFenceJez!!!!Wow! I just finished the Cory Jez episode. Such a fascinating aspect to sports that I had no idea was so technologically advanced yet in it’s infancy state for basketball. Kudos to Danny and Justin for putting together fun and informative Blazer podcast. Quite often sports media personalities are just that, personalities that are trying to stir up controversy for clicks. Not on this show. Thank you both! Cheers!
-
JOEY SportsBlazers fanNew listener to the pod, can you please somehow make your audio louder? I listen to a lot of pods and yours is by far the quietest. I have to listen at full volume and it’s still not loud, makes it challenging to listen. Thanks for your efforts
-
playday riderTerrible use of the mics.I like the content, but you need to work on the inconsistent volume and blowing out my ear. I just get use to low to medium volume, when I get blown out. Maybe get the mic a little farther away from your mouth and take some speech lessons.
-
NOM4DAudioOverall enjoyable podcast! My only complaint is that it can be difficult to hear Danny at times. This is especially true when I'm in the car or at home on a smart speaker. There are times his voice is quiet and I have to crank the volume. But then my ears/speakers get blown out when Brandon talks. Danny, you gotta stop mumbling at times and level out your mic volumes so there's less variability in volume!

ChrisPDX2016unlistenable due to amateurishproductionHuge blazers fan, there’s great content here, BUT ... Unfortunately, these guys apparently never try to listen to their own podcast, especially not while driving in a car. Because if they ever bothered to, they would immediately realize how embarrassingly amateurish their podcast sounds due to the completely preventable problem of profoundly mismatched gain levels between the voices: one is maxed-out to the point that it occasionally distorts, while the other is whisper-soft and simply cannot be heard —especially while driving — without turning up the volume, guaranteeing blown eardrums when the first guy responds through that overly hot mic. It is so frustrating, I just delete the episodes. Seriously guys … get your act together. TRY THIS: while your car and playing podcast through car stereo, play a professionally made podcast like CBS’s Eye on College Basketball, note the levels and clarity of the voices. Then play one of your recent episodes (e.g., the recent one forecasting Lillard’s year), and prepare to be shocked and ashamed.
-
JaMiMaGreat podcast and would be even better if…Danny figured out his mic. Either he needs to turn the gain down, run through a compression or stop raising his voice. When he is speaking at a normal volume it’s great but anytime he gets excited his voice distorts. I’m not an expert but I know it can be fixed! Great insight, guys! Go Blazers!

OutsiderJLBest Blazer Pod going nowThis is THE Blazer podcast for smart fans who don’t want all negativity or the sugar-coated takes that others give. Danny and Brandon are knowledgeable fans and give their opinion based on experience.. I’ve listened to many other Blazer podcasts and this is right up there with the Rip City Report with Freeman and Holdahl. Now without J.Quick or J.Freeman doing Blazer coverage or podcasts, this is the best choice. (Blazer balcony is good for behind the scenes stuff and fun, locked on w/ Richman has its moments but please don’t compare the blazer uprise dopes recording from moms basement) I hope the Jacked Ramsays community keeps growing and you guys get more top guests!
-
Uncle L.Fun and knowledgeableEasily the best Blazers pod.
-
Kene11yMy go-to Blazers podI have listened to all podcasts related to the Blazers, and Jacked Ramsays is by far the best to listen to. I appreciate their non-sugar-coated takes, they share my own pessimistic yet optimistic thoughts on the team. Also have to give credit to the fact their voices don’t annoy me, that’s hard to do!
-
Mrsbro17Fun and informativeI love the chemistry between Dan and Brandon. It’s an enjoyable listen but I always walk away learning something new. Keep up the good work guys 😊
-
Mr. T's illegitamate Son (Fool)Sometimes, catharsis via friends is the bestThe 2021-2022 season for the Blazers is….suboptimal. Danny and Brandon’s banter, knowledge, and reason make this season palatable and dare I say bearable. Thanks fellas

Kingshead88Possible the Best Blazers PodcastFirst and foremost Entertaining to listen to or watch. Honest options that don’t hold back or sugarcoat the state of the team. Great interviews with players and good guest appearances adding meaningful discussion on the players, coaching, and management/owner issues. Only fault is consistent pre/post game start times for show. If you like the Trailblazers, you’ll love this show.
-
Grapefruit ClintonMy favorite Portland Trail Blazers Pod by far!!!Usually I watch Jacked Ramsays on YouTube so glad it's on iTunes too. Danny and Brandon go hard in the paint so... if you want sugar coated "mood of a player is more important than talent" type takes, might not be for you... You gotta be Jacked to mess with these guys, professional and funny, in depth analysis, we are blessed with many great pods about the Blazers in this city, but... these guys are finally saying what I'm thinking. Love this show.
-
rickybellsNot a bad word to sayGreat basketball exes and o’s but understandable for the lay people like me. Objective. Entertaining. Honest. Great pod. Big heads. Two real big heads.
-
Zane CaplanGreat Blazers PodcastA great podcast for keeping up with the Blazers and getting helpful insights on the games from different perspectives. It’s always very entertaining and I always look forward to the next one.
-
Varoon BoseAmazing pod for Blazer fansAlso have REALLY been enjoying the podcast/show. Dan and brandon really do a good job capturing the games and breaking down the outcome. And the pods have def helped get a sense of the game especially when you miss a game. Keep up the good work!
-
chevyC/10Great podAlways a good pod I more watch on YouTube now but I’ll always come to here if I miss something, downer Danny is great he keeps it 100 and Brandon has good takes. I tend to agree with Brandon more on things but Danny does keep it real.
-
Charles PetitjeanGreat balance between Danny and BrandonLove the blazers, been a fan forever. D & B do a great job of analyzing this team without the rose colored glasses and giving their perspectives. Danny brings a bit more in the way of analytics while Brandon has an appeal to the average fan who doesn’t understand the intricate details of the game. Enjoy their banter and find myself agreeing with a majority of what they say, not that that’s good or bad. Check em out through the good and the bad of all things Pinwheels.
-
Jack Ramsays dissapointedGood when they postWhen its decided to post as podcast they are good. Unfortunately sometimes they don’t post a post game show. Other times the post game show doesn’t get posted until before the next games pregame show. Really enjoy you guys but figure this out. If you only want people on your YouTube channel then let us know.
-
TAnders11Great unbiased look at the BlazersMost of the local media, especially the in house staff, can’t give an unfiltered opinion. This is a great mix of the good and bad going on with the team.
-
damonnnsget thisTwo of the most knowledgeable and entertaining dudes in the Blazerverse have joined up to form a superteam. The streets rejoice. A+++ experience.
-
olzaggGreat ShowKnowledgeable and plugged in hosts who give honest takes and great interviews.
-
blazers_fanGreat Honest Opinions and AnalysisDanny and Brandon are great hosts. They give honest options and tell it like it is. They know basketball. They know the Blazers and they are pretty funny too. Great show.
-
KavaseaPortland’s Best Blazers podcastI’ve followed Blazersedge and for years and watched the Blazers Outsiders often agree with Dan Marang’s takes on the team. If you’re looking for an honest take with someone who cares about his the team and the fan base check out this podcast! I can’t suggest it enough!!!
-
Robby W69Fun show about all things BlazersGreat deep dive into Dame before he was Dame Dolla was the first episode I caught. Great banter between the guest and the hosts without the dumb questions. My only complaint is the number of seamless ads that pepper the podcast. It’s great to have a lot of sponsors but can you bunch them up as ad breaks instead of detract from the flow of the show? Keep up the great work
-
Jared CowleyExcellent Blazers insightDanny is one of the hardest-working, best media voices in the Portland market. He knows basketball, he knows the Blazers, he has good sources around the league. He will give an honest, no-spin version of what’s going on with the team, good or bad. IMHO, Jacked Ramsays (great podcast name, BTW) joins a small, select list of must-listen podcasts for Blazers fans.
-
YerihoFinally a good blazer podcastLove these guys. The live chat is great. I typically leave learning a lot
-
PurdgeBest new basketball podcastDanny Marang and Brandon Sprague offer great yet reasonable takes on Trail Blazer news along with meaningful interviews. Oh and copious amounts of scalloped potatoes.
