    Terrible time to disappear
Pulling the plug on the pod with *no warning*, especially after the events of 7 Oct, feels misguided and negligent. Very disappointed.

    Love this podcast!
Karen has such a positive attitude and I love her interviews and her goals of spreading Jewish joy. ❤️❤️❤️

    Totally worth a listen
Karen has such a great way of making being Jewish accessible; not just for non jews or those in interfaith relationships but even for us jews who may be “out of practice”. What a great podcast!

    A Lovely Listen
I binge listened to the first three episodes and cannot wait for the next one to come out! I absolutely adore how Karen tackles Jewish issues head-on and affirms that you can be Jewish your way! It is a must listen for Jewish and Jew-ish people!

Karen is such a bright light!
This podcast is so much fun! I definitely identify as a Jew-ish woman, having not grown up with all the traditions or knowledge of Judaism, so I really appreciate how open and inclusive Karen is. Listening to her and her guests chat about all things Jewish and Jew-ish makes me feel so welcome, especially the “you are Jewish enough” episode 🥰 I also love how each of her guests talks a bit about their own upbringing and traditions to hear about all the different and unique ways people choose to connect. Plus I love talking about food always—Jewish or not! Hoping to try my hand at a challah sometime soon!

    Smiling!!
I had the opportunity to take a long drive yesterday...and you bet I listened to all three first episodes in a row. LOVED THEM. Amy’s episode brings such joy...she embodies the your Jewish life your way way! The rush hashanah episode got me excited and contemplative at the same time. I especially loved hearing Karen’s personal story and related to it quite a bit. Thank you Karen for making this podcast and community (brides club + smashing life member here!)

    Imposter Syndrome Smasher
I love that this podcast tackles Jewish Imposter Syndrome head-on! I’ve personally struggled with feeling “Jewish Enough.” Karen and her guests remind us all that however we celebrate Judaism as individuals is Jewish Enough.

A must for being Jewish these days
I’ve only listened to two of the first ones released, and I can’t wait already. Being Jewish these days comes with so much: tradition, but also modern things to deal with, and interfaith relationships or even just interfaith celebrations. Makes me feel seen, makes me feel calm, makes me feel reconnected to my faith.

    Finding your village
Have you ever felt alone in your faith as a Jewish woman or had questions about how to do thing “the right way” This amazing podcast is like blast of fresh air. With laughter and joy women share what connects them to their faith and each other. I listen while cooking dinner and it’s like standing in the kitchen with close friends. Women who are interesting and fun and great at telling stories. We cook together and laugh. Stories of Bubbies favourite dishes or how to use music to transition into the high holy days from work. You are not alone and as Karen says “you Jew you, you are Jewish enough anyway that works for you” I absolutely LOVE this podcast and the Smashing Life community

    Yes to Jewish Joy
Such a great podcast! I’ve always felt a little unsure of my place in the Jewish community but I’m so thankful to Karen and her guests sharing their similar feelings so I know I’m not alone! Highly recommend.
