Really been impressed with the depth of these interviews. Touches on areas/stories of some very public figures that have rarely been told.

    Great Conversations
Didn’t follow Trent’s career much growing up but I really enjoy listening to him interview other QB’s. He asks insightful questions that promotes great conversation. Great listen from the normal sports podcast.

    Amazing
This is hands down the best podcast I have listened to. Coming from one of the best analyzer of football Trent Dilfer. I miss seeing him on TV, but choosing to mold High School kids is a far greater calling.

    Phenomenal Podcast
Talk about a diamond in the rough. I happen to stumble upon Trent’s podcast and listened to the Alex Smith episode and it was so good I subscribed and have not hit a dud yet. Listened to Steve Young, Bret Favre and Matt Hasselback and all have been outstanding. Trent has this crazy ability to use football to teach life. Young athletes should hear what guys who have done it remember. It’s not the stats or wins as much as the little real human things that resonate after the years. Really a great listen!

    Great Stories!
I really enjoy listening to football talk without all the hurrah opinions from sportscasters who think they have all the insight and answers. Trent does an awesome job highlighting quarterback journeys and presenting new perspectives on Stars we might think we know all about. Well done!

    Fantastic!
Trent is such a truly genuine person and it comes across in his podcast. He’s humble - almost to a fault b/c he was a SB winning QB - which 99% of QB’s can’t say. He’s got a great motivation for this podcast - to help young people understand what it takes to be successful, and that everyone experiences adversity. His guests are fantastic and he’s a great interviewer and host. Highly recommend!

I love the stories + insight into the position, especially through the lenses of so many greats. Thank you. And your appearances on Russillo are as good as it gets, imo. Your brutal honesty when assessing many of these QBs, both pro and college, is refreshing, especially considering you have a unique perspective on many of their developmental histories through Elite 11. That being said, what is going on with DJ at Clemson? Is he in his own head? He’s missing throws, sometimes badly, and looks like a completely different guy in the pocket than the one that stepped in and torched both BC and ND last season. It’s a very strange situation. Joe

    Turning over new Leaf
I’m a grown man. But several of these episodes brought me to tears. I always admired guys like Aikman and Favre. I had no freaking idea the adversity they faced and that they are mortals like us. Beyond that, I lived in San Diego when Ryan Leaf was the second coming and thought he was a jerk and could not fathom how a can’t miss prospect missed. Now I understand and respect and appreciate what he went through and what he is doing now. I wish I learned these lessons last century. Beyond podcasting, these are invaluable life lessons. Btw, the Trent Dilfer story which we never hear much of, is as inspiring as any of them, and it is still being written. His H.S. Players probably have no idea how fortunate they are. Regardless of whether they ever pick up a football.

    Outstanding New Podcast
This new podcast is great! I have always liked Trent Dilfer when I have heard him on The Herd with Colin Cowherd. He covers so much more than just Xs & Os (hence the name of the show!), and he always helps us better understand the topic being discussed. While the focus of this show is quarterback play, there is SO MUCH MORE to the podcast than that. Great life lessons and interesting stories from each guest so far. Keep up the great work!

    New favorite Podcast
Trent is great. The Warren Moon pod was my personal favorite. He doesn’t spend much time on the usual NFL talk. Really gets into the guests experiences in college and high school. Very highly recommend

    Dilfer Drops another Dime
Always loved his insight on ESPN so really excited to hear him connect with other QBs. Should be a good one.
  • 22_Dova_22
    Uniquely wonderful
Trent dives into the difficult conversations, bringing his own difficult situations along for the ride. This podcast isn’t your typical podcast with former players talking to current/former players. It’s a refreshing 45-60 minutes bringing out the human element that we all need to hear, professional QBs are just as human as everyone else and this podcast is great at highlighting that fact.

    Pretty pumped
Can’t wait to pick his brain and learn something new on a daily basis
