jeep_boy888First-class psychoanalytic educationIt has taken some time to take to Carveth. At first, his presentation style might make you think he’s an old school authoritarian - and maybe he is occasionally. However I have come to love these podcasts. I listen to them when I’m traveling, often re-listening to an episode. Carveth has helped me make links between psychoanalytic concepts and theorists. I’m hoping to formally train as a psychoanalyst one day.

SixZealandNourishing ideasRead several Penguin paperbacks of Freud recently and have been looking for more insights. Carveth has the qualities one looks for in a good professor: an ability to riff on subject matter in an interesting way; a clear and plainspoken approach to his material; and strong opinions, which give the talks a sort of pleasurable belligerence. Hopefully he will continue to upload more talks in the months and years to come.

therapiststvGreat PodcastDr. Don Carveth is super knowledgeable about Freud and Winnicott. I hope he dives into some Carl Jung, I would love to hear his take
