Joe HerbersGood discussionsI always enjoy hearing their thoughtful views on various shows. They watch the episodes multiple times, and have a good discussion. They aren’t afraid to point out things they don’t like.

Ana SelavyBald Move or Goyer-cast?Foundation can do no wrong..even when it does. Overall I’m a Bald Move fan but the Goyer-worship on every podcast takes its toll. It would be nice if Bald Move could have a relationship with Goyer without neutering their commentary. (During the wrap-up..the *cringe* of Jim recanting his 1st, 2nd and 3rd takes on the finale —despite not even being overwhelmingly sour on the finale to begin with. And A. Ron also coming ‘round on the finale…after watching it 4+ times?) Hoping that Season 3 coverage will be less Goyer-centric because you can still be a Foundation fan and acknowledge the show’s misses.

FinalFiveWanabeeGood, but just a little less profanity?Very good podcast, but can we have a little less cursing? Clearly the hosts are clever and put in the work of analyzing the episodes, but the number of “f bombs” is just distracting.

XegaGood but can do without the bad languageSo that whole family can listen

Diss187Smart and EngagingHands down the best Foundation postcast. Instead of the play by play review of what we just watched, they actually dig into plot points and characters motivations.

Deadhead-Dan10Who cares about Foundation……I’m just watching so I can hear ARon and Jim talk about a different show. I’ve watched first 2 episodes and I’m on the fence…2 main characters already dead(?!)…hmm

kbweissA Need For A PodcastHave you ever watched a show that you know you like but are totally lost? Well no worries the Bald Move team will fill you in to the point you felt like you watched it 2 more times. This is the go to podcast for Foundation and much more.

UkdapperBaldmove with Jim & A.Ron won’t disappointI’ve been a loyal Baldmove member since 2018 and they are my go-to source for tv and cinema coverage. They have great chemistry and a sense of humor to keep you entertained.

DezflavFunny, in-depth, thorough discussionsI Iove the energy and banter between the hosts. I haven’t read the books and really enjoy the show (albeit the Terminus story line has some issues). I find myself laughing out loud during their discussions and look forward to hearing their analysis for the season finale.

EricPerroneGreat work, rescued the series for meFirst I am a huge fan of the books and know them very well. At first I was kind of down on the series as it strays very far from the books. However I knew that the books would need significant changes to be on TV and these guys have helped me enjoy the series. Very thoughtful and detailed breakdowns of each show and well developed speculation and discussion about where things are and where the series might go. Well done.

WrensongIntelligent and interesting BanterGreat Podcast to go with an incredible series. I listened to all the episodes on a road trip and listened again on my way home. It’s that good.

GiusBaltarDitchedSorry boys!! Enjoyed the overall presentation but had to ditch this podcast early on… way too many spoilers. I’m on episode 7, still no mention of what’s in the vault, which you spoiled in your first episode. Then on the second episode, you claimed to get feedback on the spoilers and claimed that this was not your first rodeo, and that it would not happen again, only to have you discuss the second foundation (among other things). It almost feels like you can’t remember what’s in the show and what was in the books. I may resume listening in 7-8 years after the series is completed.

Gomorrah Bon VivantThe Water Cooler Talk You Wish You had at WorkWhen it first occurred to me podcasts might offer the equivalent of book clubs for TV and movies I went looking and lucked out when I stumbled into Bald Move. That was during Mad Men’s run and I’ve been with them ever since. Through Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Westworld, and so many others. A lot of the other podcasts covering this Golden Age of Television lack any real depth and a few amount to little more than a bad imitation of a morning zoo segment. But not Bald Move. They bring good points and humor encrusted with a fine patina of that earnest nerd culture that helps people see things from an original angle A-A-Ron and Jim bring passion for what they do and a level of sophistication that help enlighten things that might otherwise have gotten past me and have added a richness and texture to shows that really enriched the experience. I look forward to their coverage every bit as much as I look forward to an episode dropping Foundation, much like Westworld is the perfect show to jump on board with the boys. There’s so much to it you almost need two more sets of eyes on it just to gather all the information in. Do yourself a favor and check this out. After all, what’s the worst that could happen, you only find it mildly interesting?

SweetwindHow to remember how to pronounce Isaac Asimov’s nameA poem by a friend of Asimov’s: “When Isaac’s at the nudist camp, He promptly joins the fun, For ‘when in Rome’ is his favourite quote, As he tells everyone. So when the signal’s given, ‘All clothing you must doff’, Without a moment’s hesitation, Isaac has 'em off!”

Tigershark999Great companion for the showAfter I watch each episode I can’t wait till this podcast comes out. It’s like talking about the show with good friends, friends with great insights and fun theories. I’d recommend Bald Move podcasts for everyone.
-
Steverh78Thoughtful and funnyThese guys are true pros who really enhance the viewing experience. They have some, but not exhaustive, knowledge of the books and steer well clear of spoilers. Fun insights and detailed recaps always have me thinking or laughing or both.
-
He who shall remain namelessGreat as alwaysIt’s so exciting when I get into a show and the BM guys decide to cover it. It doubles the fun and appreciation of watching the show to have their regular insight.
-
doolp11Hard Sci-fi for the uninitiatedThese guys help this regular girl better understand this classic science fiction book-based show. Well worth a listen.
-
Merrimack-KidAsimov’s UnificationRather than making guesses you should read some of Asimov’s later books that unified his series. For example in Forward the Foundation Raych is introduced as a 12 year old adopted by Seldon and his wife. Also Demerzel is in fact a robot but male. Etc. doing this homework would make your Podcast much better.
-
brorKeeping it realSomething I like about these guys is that they sound like genuine friends who enjoy what they do. It’s not a hype show, it’s just two super fans really thinking about the show and giving their best thoughts and feedback.

Mike-Knows-<Insert Subject>Best TV Podcasters on all things Sci Fi/ FantasyJim and Aron bring their TV creds to Foundation and the result is the same level of excellence you’d expect from Bald Move. Great Commentary for anyone who wants some hand holding across this sprawling time scale the show covers.

SeanO'BostonWho are these numpty?Recommendation: Go read the books again. Almost all the speculation is being passed forward in this podcast is based off the idea that either the commentators have not read the books thoroughly or don’t have a strong level of reading comprehension. The speculation that they make is entirely irrelevant if they’re actually familiar with the source material. After listening to the first episode, I can only assume that the commentators either have only casually skimmed the material or are purposefully pretending not to understand the narrative to perpetuate the podcast beyond 3-5 episodes before listeners drop off entirely.
