Ro and Viv’s warmth and reflective discussions are absolutely Voice Hugs! Episodes are filled with introspection which offer moments to pause and consider my own growth as a person. I love to make myself a comforting drink, listen to a few episodes, and check in with myself. So grateful for you both and this podcast!

My favorite podcast to listen to! The talks are raw, real, and introspective which I love. I love casting the episodes on Spotify onto my TV and watching their videos in the background while I do my own thing. They’re like the sisters I never had and who have great life advice! Definitely recommend listening!

I loved Ro’s personality and when I found this podcast I was so excited to hear more from her but now I am extra happy because Viv is so wonderful as well and my heart was instantly full during the episode when Vivian brought up the Midnight Library. I thought this book was so deeply moving and to hear others speak so warmly about this story was the moment I was completely sold on this podcast (already was but even more so). Voice Hugs is truly an auditory hug from 2 amazing, mature, and beautiful women. When we encounter difficulties in our lives, it often feels like these things are only happening to us. It’s so easy to feel lost: isolated, uncertain, and overwhelmed. Voice Hugs is my weekly reminder that I’m not alone—that I have 2 big sis’s who have gone through the same things that I’m going through and are here to help me get through my life challenges.

I was driving today to my millionth apartment tour, feeling so lost (early 20s) because I have all these upcoming decisions to make and this year has already been riddled with mistakes of of my own fault, leaving me feeling like I can’t trust myself and like I shouldn’t be in charge of these decisions. I found Rowena’s YouTube video on feeling lost. Suddenly things felt lighter. My breathing slowed down. I felt heard, represented, hopeful, and like I was hearing the words I’ve always wished someone would tell me but unfortunately even if they had, I’d never had been receptive enough to hear them. (Fast forward through canceling another tour after realizing it was in budget for the wrong reasons.) I found your podcast. THIS podcast. I’ve been binge-listening all morning and have been so inspired by your stories of self-acceptance and discovery that I physically feel parts of me starting to let go of the unrealistic amounts of criticism and judgement I put on myself. I feel so identified that my eyes brim with tears at the thought that I’m not alone in my way of thinking. But I could sit here for hours and describe the ways your stories and your purpose have started turning gears in my head. I won’t bore you with that though. I just wanted to say I’m filled with gratitude that you guys exist, and hoping you keep this podcast going forever. Your voices are so soothing and real, humble, down-to-earth, informed, emotionally intelligent and even though it’s a one way dialogue from you to my ears, it feels like one of the safest spaces I’ve ever had the opportunity to be in. Thank you for being so driven and putting this out there. It can’t be easy but it’s truly appreciated.

I’ve been a fan of Rowena who has a YouTube channel as well. She’s very relatable and calming to listen to. The conversation between Rowena and Vivian is very genuine and fun to listen to. It’s interesting to learn about their experience and what they have to share. Keep it up!

i just listened to this podcast and it reminded me of this study of why/how people live the longest and it was due to the quality of their closest relationships! i completely agree that my relationships with my friends and family make me feel the most fulfilled and bring me the most joy. so far rowena and vivian talk about how they became friends and solidified their lifelong friendship and i’m excited to hear more since i can tell there’s been a lot of introspection and thought put into this!

listened to episode one on my commute to work tonight and was surprisingly so moved. two years into feeling so disconnected & isolated from loved ones, it was wonderful to be reminded of how much knowing & being true to your own self matters, how knowing others helps you know yourself even more, how dear & deep friendships can be, and how even when you’re in a chapter of loneliness you’re never really fully alone. made me want to call up all my old college friends and check in… which i just might have to do tomorrow :) can’t wait to tune in for future episodes! listening to voice hugs feels like listening to/chilling with good friends.

I don’t listen to a lot of podcasts, but I decided to try this podcast out. The first episode was very easy to listen to and I could relate to a lot of the things that they discussed. I love the title Voice Hugs too, it’s super cute! Overall, great first impression and I can’t wait to listen to the other episodes when they come out!

I loove this whole episode’s vulnerability and rawness, I was reminded of how lucky I am to find genuine friendships like Rowena and Vivian’s. So excited for the next episodes, more power to the both of you! ☺️
