    My New Favorite Podcast
My husband never misses a King’s Hall podcast. I’m a huge Haunted Cosmos fan, & we both love Bright Hearth. I only heard a little bit of the episode on classical Christian homeschooling (which we have done for 8 years, since our first-born was starting K) when my beloved was listening to it. I had to go listen for myself. Now I’m several episodes in & am hooked! I know this podcast is geared toward men, but I love it, especially the episode on White Knights & Reviling Wives (which I work not to be). Awesome job! Thank y’all for all of the work you do to build up the body of Christ in the power of the Spirit to the glory of God! May He continue to bless each of you richly!

    I’m curious
Can you show us a link for where you got Luther’s quote on the Turks “filling heaven with saints”? I just couldn’t find it myself.

    Worth a listen, Christian Man.
Great show. Hard hitting and engaging. Also engaging for non-Christians.

    Very needed point of view.
Helpful for Christians to think of things in the terms that historic Christendom thought. You may think all our ‘progress’ has been good but if we claim any descent as the church we had best be ware of what that lineage is and let it temper our modern interpretations of what Christianity is or should be.

    Theology to Does Something
The King’s Hall is a theology with boots on the ground. Want to get your hands dirty to build a truly Christian culture? Then you’ve found the right podcast. Especially if you’re a man who wants to love and lead his family with an optimistic view of what God is doing to a thousand generations.

    Yikes
Yikes ….they don’t even try to be subtle with regarding their prejudice. Praying for their repentance.

The best reformed podcast out there. Period!!

    One hit wonders
If the Ogden crew is remembered, they’ll be remembered as one hit wonders who went bad

    Why?
Why would men make a strong masculine podcast? And why did I only find it 15 minutes ago? Love the bumper music too!

You came for a history of the crusades, but….
You came for a little history of the crusades for your drive to work, but surprise, surprise- the hosts use their show as a pulpit to spout their political commentary… should’ve know what I was getting into when I heard who their sponsors were. If I want to hear about Biden and Trump, I’ll watch the news. Stay in your lane.

I binged this show from the beginning in the course of a couple of months. Can’t get enough of the Ogden guys!

    Undeniably Awesome Podcast
I forced this show on my beloved boomer father to listen to on his hikes. Much like myself, he had never heard anyone speak about Christian history in this way. We are the descendants of a Scottish Covenanter and Martyr. I sadly had to find that out on my own when I by chance ended up in a PCA church and became interested in church history. Not only did this show inspire interest and vigor in my father, but he became interested in reformed theology. We have had some cool conversations. Keep up the good work guys.

A Whole Lot of Living by the Sword
Christendom without the two greatest commandments. Right wing Christian intersectionality misses the point of the gospel entirely.

    Harmful
Just reading what this podcast is about traumatized me. Not interested in being governed by these ideas that have caused and continue cause harm to everyone including men.

    Protestants Discovering Church History
As someone once said, to be steeped is Church history is to cease to be a Protestant. Regardless of their affiliation, I respect these wonderful men. They care about truth and aren’t afraid to speak it. I’ve learned so much from them. We need more men like this in the kingdom. The lessons they draw of of these historical accounts are fantastic. Nothing but respect and admiration for these courageous men of God. May God bless you all.

    Some good some bad
There’s a lot of good motivation here but in the same episode that the hosts discuss a united discipleship of Christ, they ridicule other types of Christianity. I understand man is not perfect but I’m not looking to have my faith in Christ mocked because I don’t sit in the same type of chapel as you.

    What are you talking about?
It must be me. I spent thirty minutes of the most recent hour plus episode just trying to figure out what you are talking about. If you want deep discussion over words and phrases that no one else uses, this was the podcast for you. I am still trying to determine what you were truly talking about, but all I got from this podcast was lots of big, meaningless words and sentences and phrases. When does the actual Bible study start? Last time I read the Bible, none of the words you were throwing out are written in the Bible. If your goal is to prove that you have vastly superior intelligence than you succeeded. I thought I was a very smart man. I even grew up in the ministry, so I thought I knew all the buzzwords, but you have proven to me that my learning was so very incomplete. I won’t tell you how to do your podcast, but you should consider your audience. You claim that you want to teach Biblical men and father, but to my opinion as a man and father, you just want to sound important. Meaningless words and meaningless podcasts.

    The Patriarchy of Christendom episode
They are so salt towards Ally Beth Stuckey. Disappointed to hear their take. Still giving a good review to support a Christian podcast. There are so many false preachers/ influencers they could have gone after instead of Ally Beth who speaks the hard truth that they say is so valuable.

    Christ is Lorders must listen
This podcast fires me up for the spread of Christendom and is excellent at taking biblical virtues which we are called to embody and applying them in real life. Attributes such as leadership, discipleship, courage, masculinity, femininity, and godliness are expounded upon using scripture and discussed on how best to apply these attributes for God’s glory. Must give it a shot

    Thank you
Thank y’all so much. I’ve been so blessed by your podcasts and I hope y’all keep it up! I also really enjoyed the conference and I can’t wait for the next one. I would definitely recommend this and all the other podcasts these guys make to anyone.

From evangelical to reformed to Rome
This probably isn’t the review they’re expecting lol but I credit this podcast with encouraging me to dig into what our Christian forefathers believed. Much to my surprise, they were Catholic! Thank you King’s Hall for opening my eyes to the deep and rich history of our faith! I was just received into the Catholic Church this past Easter :) For anyone reading this, I highly suggest the book “Rome Sweet Home” by Scott Hahn, a former Presbyterian pastor.

    Great show
I love this show. I am not quite there with them on some of their views but I am about 90% in agreement. But what has blessed me the most is that my 15-year-old son has listened to everything these hosts have done. Hard Man Podcast, Haunted Cosmos, even Bright Hearth!!! What a blessing. We are going to fly in to attend the 2024 conference and plan to be blessed even more!

    Immature Hustle
Got off to a great start, but showed their collective immaturity soon thereafter by bragging about Twitter fights. Also anything that could be of use, such as further reading and episode notes his given to Patrons only. Hard pass.

    Great message
This is exactly what our country and world needs. Good men rising up and leading their families in the way of the Lord Jesus. No more can fathers expect church to do everything for them. Parents can’t rely on churches to do for their children what God intended us/parents to do. What the church world is currently doing is obviously not working. True Christians should be willing to try it another way. Gods way!

    Straight up the BEST podcast
The best podcast out there. All Christians need to hear this stuff…especially those like me who grew up in the typical soft and uneducated western church.

    BEST Podcast Out There.
These guys are awesome! Very well spoken and well educated, great role models for men in how they lead and are engaging in their churches, families, and culture. Have met Brian and Eric at conferences and they are very humble and great men to be around. This is a must listen and apply! All Glory to God!

    Enjoying this podcast!
I love the boldness of these hosts! Also, I appreciate their theology views and interpretations. Though I may not agree with them on everything, it definitely makes me think and have a desire to learn more. The Christendom history is also wonderful! Thanks men!

Things I wish I was told as a younger man
These gentlemen are doing great things through a simple podcast. Every time I listen to them, I’m encouraged by their based, faithful and hopeful message. And learn some new things. Their simple courage in espousing what we know to be true makes emboldens me to live every aspect of my life for Christ. God bless you fellas!

New Logo is Incredibly Based but…
not as based as Eric and Dan’s way of explaining the pronunciation of the Frenchman’s last name.
  • SlingBoy09
    Based.
This podcast is not only based, it’s foundation’d. It’s three chads killing the lies in this world, bringing back the truths of the gospel and Christendom, and saying what needs to be said. P.S. Harmonicas are superior and you are lying to yourself if you deny it. 🤣🤣🤣

    The Chobani Yogurt of Podcasts
What a great group of Christian men. I really enjoy listening to them. Very encouraging, and often hilarious.
  • chadbrochil
    Intriguing, mostly excellent
I gave 5 stars because I love the show and appreciate all three of the men hosting it. But as a pre-mil reformed BAPTIST, I don’t always agree with their views but there is so much more that I whole heartedly approve of and enjoy. While there may be times which I feel they might frolic for too long in the fields of antagonism, it is often exactly that which produces a great desire in me to pursue godliness and excellence in all things. In short, I highly recommend this podcast.

    Biblethumper
I was disheartened at the episode that disparaged adoption. Yes, of course it is not a moral obligation for all Christians to adopt children abandoned by their parents. But, the callused views and attitude espoused by these pastors for these children was not infused with the Love of Christ. When adopting, sometimes things go poorly, but it is still to the Glory of Christ. Yes, it is usually messy, but Christ will not leave the family who takes in these kids unblessed in this life or the next. We aren’t doing it for ourselves, but for Christ. I do not think the writer of James would be pleased with the twitter post and episode on adoption. Every father does need to look after his own, but sometimes our own aren’t just those of our flesh and blood. In the end, we are all adopted heirs, Im glad God decided to adopt all of us who killed his own son. This should move us to do the same. Blessings to you all.

My wife and I are expecting our 4th son any day now. I have been planning on this being our last addition to the family. Wrestling with the idea of getting a vasectomy, I listened to this podcast, and am already confident we will try for another pregnancy after this one is born. Children are a blessing, NEVER a burden. I will not be getting a vasectomy or practice birth control. #DatPostmil
