This is the best Red Sox pod I have been a Red Sox fan for my entire life and have been looking for a good Red Sox pod for years I have listened since it came out. And please make a new pod please.

This is the first Sox pod I could listen to with my son in the car. Hope you get to continue the show, look forward to hearing what’s next.

Steve and Joey have great chemistry. A bit more baseball breakdown than other pods, but not too deep a dive into the numbers. Always some laughs and always a pod worth listening to. The interviews and quality are top notch. Keep up the good work, guys!

I wish I’d found this earlier in the season but now look forward to each show. Steve and Joey have a great rapport and are knowledgeable, true fans, who also can be very funny. They do series previews and game recaps but also have special guests. Loved the show with the team video replay guy and the show with Jake Peavey among others. Great podcast. Go Sox!! (Yes, I know we need to wait till next year.)

I just started listening to Inside the Monster this season (maybe this is the first?) and I really have enjoyed just about every episode. Steve Perrault had built a great and varied program and his friend and wingman Joey Coppini adds nice color and insight as well. Among the many highlights this year was a pretty recent show that featured the team photographer Billie Zeiss (Zeiss captured that amazing shot of Benetendi’s even-more-amazing diving catch in 2018). Look forward to listening to these guys next year when we hopefully have a far better team to follow.

Overall, I don’t *love* the vibes of sports radio bros. BUT, I want the deets on my favorite baseball team. What is a 30 year old woman to do? Well, ITM scratches that itch. Steve and Joey have a fab rapport, and they’re realistic about the Sox without being toooo mean or negative. The only complaints I have is that (1) Steve sometimes gets too into describing Twitter beefs that he had this week and (2) there’s too much content! But I always listen to the series recaps so that I can triumphantly yell “I KNOW, RIGHT?!?” when I get stuff right. Rats off to these two for letting me show up my boyfriend, and Go Sox Kid. 😘

This must be the official podcast of the Red Sox cuz these two are losing chemistry every episode. I stopped at the argument about the Sun this week. Steve wants to command the conversation at all times and would only have Joey speak when he lets him. This podcast still offers me interesting info on the Sox, but has become a difficult listen as the season has rolled on.

The Steve rants are too much, every week he has a new random group of people to complain about for 20 min

Listening to Steve and Joey talk Sox is the audio equivalent of watching Ortiz hitting a walk off home run in the play offs, nothing better. Love the pod, perfect mix of baseball talk and fun banter. Steve and Joey are wicked smaht and that shows in their commentary. 10/10 recommend

Joey's pitching matchups are my favorite part of the show each week. He gives such valuable information such as Nick Pivetta's hometown (Canada) and how many games TBD will be pitching each week. Honorable mention to Stevie Double Dribble's weather report. Go Sox kid!

It’s pretty crazy that Joey hasn’t seen the sandlot… because of that I almost gave it 4 1/2 stars, but wrapping back around and giving it a hot five just because Cooperstown will fix that and the sox are about to make the playoffs. Their knowledge of the Sox and their stories will keep you listening from beginning to end. Joey’s pitching updates are always informative, especially when Nick Pivetta is on the mound. Guy’s from Canada, we shall not forget!! And then Steve’s always helpful weather updates are key as well, especially when the Sox play in the dome in Florida. This is my go to podcast to reminisce about a team I never saw play. Where Joey can’t remember the events that happened for 3/4 of the series (just like me), and Steve is carrying the memory train while fighting everybody on Twitter. By far the best Sox podcast out there currently, Joey and Steve always give me a good laugh and continue to make me a smarter Sox fan. Can’t wait to hear Joey’s real name. Go Sox kid.

Steve and Joey are the two of the absolute best. As a proud participant in “Down in the DMs” who was featured on the show prior to the homer opener (please hold your applause), I was able to meet the both of them (and even got the first ever ITM Pod pic with the whole crew). These two have really taken an awesome opportunity and ran with it. If I had one negative thing to say, it would be how they break their episodes into different segments. But that’s part of doing their own thing. All in all, I can’t love this show enough. Steve and Joey are two super down to Earth guys who love to interact with their fans. I actually sent them a copy of the pic they took with me and they signed it and sent it back- which looks awesome in my basement. I’m looking forward to more shows and to seeing more of these guys at Fenway and induction weekend for Papi!

Plus, listen to Steve pick fights with his listeners while Joey anxiously tries diffuse the situation with step-dad jokes. These guys are a solid duo, and they make me a wicked smaht fan of the best team in baseball. We love you Xander! Go Sox Kid!

Best podcast for all counts of Red Sox baseball. Everything from potential weather, interviews, and game breakdown. Can’t forget all the stolen base topics and “it’s not a game day but Sweet Caroline is playing on repeat” moments. The ITM duo, who reports from probably anywhere at Fenway except inside the monster, won’t disappoint. Go Sox Kid.

Fantastic insight and genuine reactions to the ups and downs of the season. In all honesty if this review gets chosen to be read on the pod I don’t even want the Pedro jersey. I want Steve to use that money instead to buy Joey a glove so he can avoid the pure embarrassment of dropping a homerun ball again. Anyway, keep the solid content coming!

Yo this show absolutely RAKES harder than Raffi off Kermit Cole. Steve and Joey are comical as they breakdown America’s most beloved baseball team. Joey adds comical relief on a relatively rollercoaster of a season while Steve just rips off the bandaid. A duo like no other. Go Sox Kehd #NOMAH

Great pod. Makes me hate mondays just a LITTLE less. Could be more funny. Could be a little more serious but I guess for a pod like this it does the job. Keep up the great 50% of the time job.

Huge fan of Inside the Monster for ONE main reason - you can tell that Steve and Joey truly love the Red Sox. They love baseball. And that is hard to find now-a-days. Are they great looking? No...unfortunately not. But hey, it's audio, ya know? Would I describe them as "intelligent"...maybe? Do I think they have a ton of "friends"...who knows. I'd grab a beer with them any time. In all seriousness, love this pod! Easy listening from a couple of good dudes (I think), and the ballpark kicks talk has inspired me to up my shoe game. My wife is probably happy about that?

He's just not entertaining without being the straight man for Jared and Coley. Sorry I'm just not feeling it. Wish I was, I don't want to see Steve fail. Seems like a decent enough guy. But somewhere along the line he started to take himself a bit too serious. Maybe the solo mission went to his head a bit. Still rooting for you Steve! Get back to your roots..

Kept trying to get into the show but I couldn’t. Steve has become very cringey—just complaining and angry all the time. I like Joey quite a bit, but he’s just drowned out. It’s just not good or unique enough to make me keep listening to two Podcasts about the same thing—and The Carrabis Pod is much better.

Steve comes off cringey and trying too hard, his rants are pretty brutal. There are better Red Sox podcasts out there.
