I just learned about your podcast and listened to Eat Your Mistakes. Can’t wait for more. I appreciated the homage to raisins - I found out that raisins soaked in Sherry will give a fantastic perfume to raisin bread “Beard on Bread”, recipe for Mother’s Raisin Bread. Soaking raisins ever since!

Soon turned into four months. I’m disappointed. Edit: Does anyone know any other good podcasts that have this vibe? If you’ve listened you know what I’m talking about. I’ve all but given up on this show.

I’ve been listening to this podcast nonstop and am so sad I finished the episodes so quickly. I’ve tried listening to other podcasts that are similar in their approach but this one is hands down the best! Love you Rick and Carla

I love this podcast because it’s a show that I knew would entertain me while going on a drive for sure. But not only was it going to entertain me but I also learned new things about one of my most favorite things in the world, good food!!! I listened to every episode and can say I took something away from each one of them. I was sad when I got to the last episode and now I’m awaiting to see when the show will be coming back on. I hope soon. It’s truly a great podcast so if you haven’t listened to it yet you’re missing out. Now if I could only find another one that will grab ahold of my attention as well as this one did.

And I listen to them all. So sad there aren’t new ones!

This is my favorite podcast to listen to while commuting. It always makes me smile, and often laugh out loud. I feel like I’ve been invited to sit at The Cool Kids’ Table every time I listen. I’m disappointed that I won’t have a new episode for a while, but it will be worth the wait!

I think Rick and Carla are so knowledgeable and I love hearing them answer people’s cooking dilemmas. However, I really don’t like the recurring segments. They feel forced and weird. More q and a less describing tik tok recipes please!

I love Carla and Rick!! This is so great and is just what I needed. Despite all the implosion that happened at BA, I used to enjoy the old pod quite a bit and this satisfies that crave!

Expert cooking tips/advice and hilarious at the same time

I was really sad when BA imploded a few years back and was so happy to see that Rick and Carla were together again. They have always had a fun chemistry and this podcast reflects that. It is informative enough for a chef while also being lighthearted and never patronizing to people that are just starting their cooking journey. Re: The Freezer Is Your Friend episode: As a pastry chef I say, let’s not body shame the people with “cold, witches fingers”!

So this is basically car talk but with food and cooking. Loving the show and the format!!

Love the great production intros to sections, like “Tell Me Something Good!” I love the fun personalities of these two chefs extraordinaire!! Learn something new about food or prep.

This podcast is a delightful time where I feel like I’m talking to friends about food! Carla and Rick are great hosts and have a plethora of knowledge about food and the food media industry.

I just binged all episodes today and I’m already hooked. I will most definitely be calling in with a question and hope to be hearing some more guests on as well.

As a trained chef I can really appreciate this podcast. I’ve been looking for another food podcast after the racist sandwich ended and this one is pretty fun, although very different. Something about a white lady calling herself the bean queen of Brooklyn is kinda funny but l do enjoy both of these chef’s work.

Two of the best in the business not just for food content. They are the auntie and uncle we all dreamed of! If you never watched Carla and Rick before now, know that they will always have your back and keep it REAL. They make people not currently comfortable with cooking very comfortable and help to get rid of those “stupid” questions. So much experience with so many cuisines and life advice in general. Go back and watch their older stuff; you’re in Great hands. Promise.
