When I ask Siri to start playing the president’s daily brief, which I have in the past, my new iOS (18.4) directs me to news they select including NPR’s daily news. This is a huge foul

I listen during my commute to and from work. Great way to get significant updates on current events in a timely manner.

A great way to start the day or the afternoon. I’ve been a fan of Baker on Rogan for years and now enjoy the PDB. I was a little disappointed when I heard a pharmaceutical ad in the middle of the PDB, but I’m sure Baker has his reasons (insert a cynical, ironic aside in Baker’s voice here).

Its so nice to have a overview of the news of the day/day before that is as ‘unbiased’ as a human can get. Ur doing great work and keep it up!

I like the format and breadth of issues covered, but the snarky comments get old. Yes, Russia invaded Ukraine and their intentions are self-interested. But to act like the current conflict just started in 2022 is to ignore a broader history and some of the failings of our own country, on both Democrat’s and Republican’s watches. No need to agree with my opinion - please just leave yours out.

I love hearing Mike have to report on Trump because it's pretty obvious he can't stand him. Unbiased, just news, whatever Mike, we know you don't like the guy.

I loved this show previously, when it was short, to the point and relatively unbiased. Unfortunately, Mike’s taken a hard left. Hmm, I wonder which document we’ll see his name on soon for him to become so defensive whenever he mentions trump. Smh

Mile claims the show is unbiased yet there’s clearly pro war and anti Russian bias. Still, great content. Love the quick dose of relevant news although it seems as if there’s more commercials than content.

Not sure why Ukraine is so preferred over Russia. Both are equally corrupt and both have innocent soldiers dying. His bias is so blatant while Ukraine is bleeding us dry- with no respect. Used to be good show under former host.

The PDB makes itself out to be an unbiased fact-based podcast along the lines of an apolitical intelligence agency briefing. Instead, it tends to lean right, de-emphasizing certain matters and emphasizing others. The show is heavily tilted towards Israel. If you want a worldview like Trump’s then listen to this podcast. if you rather hear something more balanced, I recommend everything by the Economist.

I really enjoyed Mike reading the news for the last year or so but since the lead up to the election and particularly recently Mike’s boss showing through that it might as well be Fix news — maybe that’s the audience. Wish he’d go back to just reading the news.

Quick and to the point, without a bunch of distractions and wasted words. An everyday listen in our household.

I don’t ever write reviews. This podcast is solid. Baker is direct, tells you the news and lets you decide. Only thing I don’t like is its short shows! I can listen to Mike all day! Great job

I learned about the show listening to Joe Rogan interview Mike Baker. Mike said he just gave the news with perhaps a occasional comment but he makes continual comments. Not interested.

If you’re having a hard time reaching the older population; this is where you want to place your ads.

Good news source, really like Mike. But zero coverage of the Trump trials? Now this company is in bed with Megan Kelly, and the factor? Hope this pod cast stays clear of being the Fox/newsmax of podcast. Keep your head above that water , Mike. How bout some Trump trial coverage, seems important since somehow he is allowed to run for president through all of this….. updated 11/17/24…. Way to soft shoe the Matt gaetz appt. Disappointing.

Trumps picks are breathtaking & wonderfully disruptive! So far as the UFO’s being foreign advisories equipment. If we had only recently started seeing these things, yes, but we’ve been witnessing this level of technology/phenomena back to when we were still in prop driven aircraft. We’ve only recently been able to record what we’ve seen readily. Whatever they are they’ve shown levels of technology long, long before anyone on earth could have.

If this host isn’t just an AI narrator, then he needs to learn how to properly pronounce names and places and also speak like a real human being.

This show was recommended to me as a non-partisan information only podcast and after listening to just two episodes it is ABUNDANTLY clear that this podcast is in fact biased and right leaning.”be awake, not woke”, and having guests on the show from entities that also present themselves as non-partisan while actually being extremely partisan, and then fawning all over them is at best ridiculous and probably outright deceitful.

The host is very informative and the topics are timely and interesting. I can’t figure out why there are political ads interspersed during the show that are all one sided. It’s disappointing.

I enjoy the show but was disappointed that Mike allowed for political ads about abortion. I prefer that the show maintain the more political objectivity rather than engaging in such a hot button emotional issue.

An excellent podcast to keep up with REAL news impacting the Globe. Only wish it was about twice as long with more such news, but as they say, “Leave them wanting more.”

FEMA doesn’t clean up downed power lines, inter organizational agreements are in place for mutual aid, these agreements pre date the federal agency. If FEMA organized/coordinated electrical restoration they would still be rounding up lineman whom were pre positioned before landfall, as federal heavy lift and helo assets should of been.

The new host is a trashy war pig. Stupid and ridiculous. Last host was a ton better

If you want news from a source that is unbiased from a host who is very well spoken, this is it. We need more news outlets like this.

Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and these punchy episodes pack all the world news you need to know into 10-15 minutes. The best part is Mike’s sarcastic side commentary. Please keep it up!

Good for an overview but little detailed analysis and a bit of a neocon slant

I love Mike Baker and look forward to every Joe Rogan episode that he is on. I was excited about listening to this show and it’s…ok. The news and information is great but the script and delivery sounds overproduced. I wish it was more casual like he is on JRE.

The PDB is simply the most informative & entertaining pod on world issues. Mike Baker is sarcastic in the best, most playful way. His use of irony & common sense is unique, as are his insights into international politics. This is a must for any student of world issues. I never miss an episode.

Pretty good news, and prolific. Good God tho Mike stop with the political adds. Nothing makes me want to stop listening more than the Kamala reads ins first thing. Take a page from Joe and stick to ball trimmers, Fleshlights and sunglasses adds.

Plus if you are an aficionado of smart-asseree this one’s for you.

In a former life, I worked for an agency within DHS. We were well aware that Tik-Tok was/is owned by (essentially) a subsidiary of the CCP. Along with fomenting division, spreading disinformation (i.e., lies), Tik-Tok allows CCP direct monitoring of users. Not to say the CCP would ever do such a thing, but …

I heard Mike on Joe Rogan say that this would be a no nonsense just the facts source of news. The stories and their focus are well chosen and important. However, the commentary is thick. I guess I’ll keep looking for that neutral news source.

I was just working thru the whole back catalogue of episodes as I’ve been playing the Dailies daily for the past several months. Very good stuff, and the opinion & assessments are good for context. 🇺🇸🏴‍☠️🇺🇸 Good variety of drill-downs/deep dives into some topics and the “60,000ft” high altitude survey of what’s going on around the world. From the bottom of the ocean to the upper edge of earth atmosphere, there’s a LOT happening all the time. 🇺🇸🗽🇺🇸 Was going to suggest you could start some interview/guest segments, a few more focused topic series maybe, and then an announcement comes along with changes on the horizon. Hope it’s same or better quality and consistency. It’s a good pod show, and I look forward to more of it. Keep the Personnel Files rolling! Getting an in-depth look at the people we hear about in the news every week and how their lives led to their current position gives the listener a lot more the consider when hearing the news. These quick deep-dives are something I haven’t found on any other news outlet. Thanks a lot!

One of the best features on Iran ever published. The Iranian guest was very enlightening and gave us an insight into the thought process of the average Iranian.

A little disappointed PDB let’s a traitor like comrade Tucker Carlson advertise here, but that aside, it’s a well-informed, amusingly cynical take on presenting the daily news.
