    Excellent content
This is the best podcast on religion that I know of. Dr. David Anders is not only deeply learned and extremely intelligent and articulate in describing and defending the teachings of the Church, but he also shows, over and over, that he is a kind hearted person who lives the Gospel in his own life. When a caller is clearly worried or upset he is very solicitous and comforting. I have never heard him lose patience with any caller or question.

The best presentation of ideas and faith
From the very first time I heard Dr David Anders speak on Open Line I could tell he was a superstar apologist. It is a pleasure to hear him speak on all manner of ideas and issues from the point of view of a Catholic convert (from Calvinism)

    His Words
Annulments have increased ridiculously in our time. How do they square this with Jesus’ actual words in the Bible? It would seem to me, King Henry the 8th would not have left today’s church of the world and his wives would not have been killed. Saints were made upholding the words of Jesus and His church. Do they not believe they will have to answer Christ for this? Has He returned and given us a new teaching? It’s dishonest for the church to do this. I will NEVER LISTEN TO THIS PODCAST AGAIN. You told a woman who was married SEVERAL times that because her first marriage was in a Protestant church it wasn’t binding at all. A five minute process your words. Pay up. Yes Luther would have loved this since his whole objection was to the payment of indulgence. Have you never read the Bible? She married a Catholic man but because the form was wrong she gets a do over? This stuff diminishes the grace of Jesus and angers our Lady. You play games with sacraments and disregard the actual words Jesus said.
